| I'd heard so much about The Yozakura Family manga that I think I set my expectations too high. It's not hitting the way I thought/hoped it would. I was wondering how those of you who have read the manga feel about it. |

| I've always found Yozakura to be a middle of the pack manga, so I didn't really have any expectations for the anime and my enjoyment of it is pretty much the same as the manga. The action scenes are going to be the real deciding factor. |

| The pacing, animation and soundtrack could've been better, but it's not the worst thing I've seen. I didn't have high expectations for Silver Link anyways. It's watchable, but like the other used said, it feels like the wrong studio adapted it. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

When some says “the animation is average” it means that they did the bare minimum work to produce the basic standard for animation. When I hear this, how can I not assume you are calling the animation bad? And I would disagree with your judgement of the animation. |

| i got disappointed too when i first read the manga, it was just boring and i'm not a fan of its mediocre art either, but surprisingly silverlink's adaptation is actually not as bad as the source material for me, visually at least even though it's not that impressive. i'd still keep my expectations low for the rest of it. |

I think its like a bit below average, almost every ep feels like the energy is a step below the energy it needs and the delivery of jokes that come off as snappy in the manga are telegraphed or drawn out too much.
