| I kinda like how they mix in fighting game elements into this show, even though most of it still contains RPG such as leveling and system. The update completed also seems to be setting up for bigger things to come. Sunraku better be prepared even though he's out of his usual dangerous missions this time around. |

| Hell yeah, the new OP is hype too! And it seems like Sunraku is finally going to change his mask. These interactions with Dragonfly are making me think that he'll become important in the future. This is a unique scenario that no one heard about before, and there is a possibility that there will never be a discount like this again, so it's understandable why Sunraku was pressured to buy the skill lol. Now they gotta show us what it actually does. Crushing Ashura Kai let's go! Seems really exciting. SLF Theater: お年玉 (otoshidama lit. year jewel) - New Year's gift (usu. money given to a child by relatives and visitors) Good episode. |

| The 2nd Cour has begun with FZMZ feat. icy's new OP, and it's just as good, though I prefer the 1st Cour OP. ReoNa's ED is quite good, given her usual style. Sunraku, in another game of BERP, faces the complete newbie of Dragonfly whilst training for the Wethermon fight, which after one battle, he manages to improve by a ton, and Sunraku basically just let him win to acknowledge the attack gauge of bugs undiscovered with other players, and trains together as well...leaving Oikatzo and Arthur behind. Sunraku going back into SLF with Emul to the Skill Garden, to be met by her twin sister Elke to complete the combination of skills...6 of them, which came in the form of a big foul brew. There're also Skill Grimoires, which Emul tried to warn Sunraku, but facing resistance from Elke, her persuasion is quite the persuasion indeed to spend almost the entirety of his money. On the topic of facing Wethermon, even though both Oikatzo and Sunraku are Lvl 50, they still face resistance from Arthur's own PvP clan Ashura Kai. And worse still, the new update which if a PKer kills another player, the PKers will steal everything from the one he/she raids, creating the new PK Killer class. And Arthur wants to defeat her own clan that's a thorn in the grapevine, that's quite the ambitious move. Another major update for SLF, and it'll change the landscape from now on as the trio faces Wethermon the Tombguard, with Ashura Kai in the way. 3 players vs. a gang of PK Killers...who will win? |

| Yasuno Kiyono has voiced Elke to perfection, that was quite amusing. That drink sure looked tasty lol. Pencilgon talking about scary stuff with a smile on her face was lovely. Also Psyger-0 still at it, good luck girl. She looked cute in kimono. New OP is nice, love the ED by Reona. |

| Happy to have Slf back after their one-week break, they're not even forget to give a happy new year special, Emul really loves her gift, huh? Idk how much importance Sunraku meeting with those newbie at the desserted kusoge like Berp, all in all, Sunraku finishing up his skills shopping at once. Even if its mean a little bit of a ripped, since its coming from Emul, its not that bad, right? Pencilgon and her cunning idea again after smooth talking with the previous npc kinda gives a good mood over this new arc. Nevertheless, lets see how Sunraku become a pk killer then... |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| New OP is a fucking banger. I wouldn't expect anything less from the GOATS, FZMZ. ED is okay, but I kinda preferred the last one. But damn, even for a summer update, that game's expansion is huge. I wish real-life games could update like that. Three new biomes/areas added—it totally makes sense why this game hasn't lost its popularity and is still one of the best. And Psyger-0, always just being Psyger-0. Wethermon fight next finally. |

| Every other show that had a 2 cour carry from last season has had a phenomenal comeback this week (Frieren, MaoMao) and even shows with season 2 have also had really bombastic season premiere episodes (BokuYaiba, Mashle). On the other hand, this show remains MID as f*ck after the winter hollyday in terms of content. Both the scene of Sunraku combining skills and Pencilgoon's verbal diarrhea about assaulting her PK clan were so drawn out and played like the scene at the DMV in zootopia, with long stupid and slow dialogues to mansplain the most basic details about online RPGs. The fighting scene in that other garbage game was totally pointless. The hitboxes, framerate and bugs/glitches/exploits aren't going to be anything alike in SLF that's supposed to be a way more polished game. So why waste time there? Why not farm money in SLF to buy better items or explore other farming zones for higher loot? For an allegedly smart player that has spent hundreds of hours in other games exploiting bugs, Sunraku is a fucking moron when it comes to planning and negotiating. |
| Sunraku got his skills boosted and voluntarily spent all of his funds. Poor Sunraku no clothes for you. Having PKers have a bounty is an interesting idea but stealing any item they want from them damm, cruel but well fucking deserved to discourage killing each other. Looks like before we get to Weathermon we have to kill Pencilton's old team. That's a very Pencilton idea if I do say so myself. Kinda sucks though I was looking forward to the Weathermon fight a lot sooner. |

| Jesus Christ the 2nd OP is so fucking metal. They don’t miss with these Pretty chill first episode of this cour. Was fun meeting Elke. Sunraku should’ve listened to Emul when she said her sister likes to price gouge because he got finessed for those skill grimoires 😂 speaking of which, it’s funny seeing Emul and Sunraku interact now that they’re seiyuu are married. Congrats to them With that out of the way, it’s back to planning for the Wethermon fight. I knew things were getting tense between Pencilgon and her clan, but I didn’t think she’d want to wipe them out. Given how hated they are and how they terrorise the game, they won’t be missed though. Can’t wait to see that. Reona ED!!! Love the new year’s special theater at the end of the episode. Pencilgon expecting gifts but ain’t get anyone else a gift and she’s the richest irl gtfo 😂 Poor Psyger, too nervous to get Sunraku a new year’s card 😢 This cour should be really good |

| Decent episode but it did feel a bit dragged out especially the first half with Sunraku fighting some newbie and discovering a new bug, not sure if will end up helping in SLF considering they're different games. At least Sunraku got new skills and hopefully we'll see him utilize them soon, perhaps against Pencilgon's old guild-mates since apparently they will need to be taken out before engaging Wethermon. |

| Congrats to VAs Yuma Uchida (Sunraku) and Rina Hidaka (Emul)’s marriage. Seeing their interactions in the anime make it a whole lot better |
| Ngl, it takes massive balls to try and take a suppossedly near impossible raid the day an update drops. The sheer amount of things that can break and fuck your strategy is no joke. But well, most of the time feels like the only reason this story is inside a game is so the characters can die without penalty nor stakes in that. |

| So we are going to see Sunraku, Katzo, and Pencilgon bring down Ashura Kai. So it should be interesting to see how this one goes because with how her old comrades would react to her turning on them. Shangri La Frontier is just more and more interesting as this goes on. A complete dark horse for me as I never expected to like it this much. Pencilgon is proving herself to be more and more best girl for me. |

| I love Elke, but I don't like the new OP and ED :( Neither the songs nor the animation are on par with the previous ones, and the ED just doesn't fit at all. |

This was an chill episode. And thats not a bad thing, every Anime nah every Show needs chill episodes in which the Story builds up.

| This anime is a fun watch. I never skipped the first op, but the new one can't compare to the first one. The new major update might have an influence on the unique monsters so that could pose an interesting plot twist. |

| First of all, Congratulations to the Marriage of Sunraku and Emul VA (Yuuma Uchida & Rina Hidaka) It's adding a lot of depth seeing their interaction in the Anime. Now i wonder if we gonna see this Dragonfly in Shangri-la Frontier as well, i mean it has to be right? Second OP is banger as well. Also ReoNa for the second ED, she has this really unique voice, i love it. Yoo Shangri-la Frontier is getting a Massive Update. Ahh those feeling of excitement for the update when i was playing MMORPG back in the day. |
