| Ok, this episode they adapted three different stories from the manga. First, the lost cell phone story was really sweet for several reasons. Senpai realized he doesn't really know much about Nagatoro, the girl who he's been hanging around with for several months now. He doesn't know her class or even her first name. That's going to be an important plot point later. Also, it was nice to hear Nagatoro's preference of the perfect guy, which is what I would say is my real-life preference for the perfect girl - it doesn't matter if they're hot or athletic, it's just important to be able to hang out together and have fun. Finally, the part where Nagatoro opens the locker, if this was a regular rom-com, poor Senpai would have been beaten up badly, but since Ms. Nagatoro is so much better than the average silly rom-com, once she realizes this is an accident, she calms down and is actually thankful he brought her phone back. Also it was cute how she was embarrassed when she asked him if he heard the things she said. The marathon was another nice segment, which goes to show how Senpai has been trying to improve physically thanks to Nagatoro and once again shows how Nagatoro really cares about him when she carried him. Although that part was a bit awkward, no matter how athletic she is, she's still a small girl and carrying a guy, even a scrawny one like Senpai was too much. Finally, the last part is actually the beginning to one of my favorite parts of the manga, when Nagatoro is sick and Senpai comes to visit her. We get to meet Ane-toro and she's a riot. Can't wait for next week when Nagatoro is the one being teased for a change :D |
| President running a school marathon while wearing a bunny suit.... .....Not only did she look cool wearing it, but the fact that she was allowed to wear it in the first place makes me smile! =D Naoto had some funny moments in this episode, with him hiding in the broom locker while overhearing Nagatoro and her friends talking to each other being a highlight. Nagatoro was annoyed to find him in there, but since he gave her smartphone back to her, I'm glad that she forgave him. The team effort to help Naoto over the line after he sprained his ankle was really nice, although he was disqualified regardless. After that, it was time for Nagatoro's older sister to make her appearance and she didn't waste time in brutally teasing Naoto by taking pictures of him looking into the family home and pretended to call the police on him! XD You can already tell where some of Nagatoro's teasing comes from, so I'll be looking forward to the next episode, going by what was shown in the juicy preview at the end! =P |
| Not bad, it just weird if Japan school actually allowed the student to wear sexy outfit during marathon.... While they disqualified Senpai and the girls for 'cheating' Owh, guess Nagatoro and Senpai's never knew each other real name yet.... That's suck since they both already close enough. Ooh~ Nagatoro Hayachi older sister? Interesting. |

| wtf epic episode lol the club room (club that she is not even a part of) is her second home, how funny when i thought he was gonna have a peaceful day, he decided to rush after Nagatoro, i guess that's fun too what a fun opening song, i love everything, but the part with glasses is probbaly the best one he seriously hiding? i mean, i used to avoid people too, but he is used to them already, he sees them like everyday, who cares if they make a joke or 2 well at least he might be able to hear something funny ... or maybe they will catch him ... actually would be funny if someone went to get a broom or something from the locker LOL as expected he heard them talk about him, it had to happen :D why would he make that sound? geez lmao at least Nagatoro helped him no, he didn't hear anything, lol the way he ran away these mid episode panels in this anime are great, this time with a bug :D oh i was gonna say "nice of senpai to practice running" ... but he had to get hurt, and then run anyway, i bet he will fall midway lol oh all the girls are there the turtle and the hare ... that's a good way to win a marathon lol many will try to race and die halfway ok i lied, now that bunny senpai appeared, it truly is all the girls haha 11:05 their faces, i can't HAHAHAHAHA let the race begin, catch that bunny :D inb4 they all get tired and lose to senpai (if his foot lasts that long anyway) NEVER MIND, what the hell, i didn't expect them to start pushing him LOL the speech when they separated, the usual fun "go without me" and ... "death flag?" and... ofc his foot didn't resist, Nagatoro actually helping him was cute oh she actually making fun of the usual scene i just talked about oh, that piggy carry, that's embarrassing lmao now... is it Nagatoro who is super strong, or senpai who is way too light? oh she was getting tired ... but friends finally arrived, took them long enough ... now its like that game they play in school festival, with one person on top of 3 (this case 4) oh catching up to pres, but she wasn't running seriously yet, there she goes (what about her thoughts when she saw them all?) windbreaker, i've seen that before (in a bike anime, probably long riders ... and in the strongest assassin) and they passed the bunny! but... as expected, can't race like that LOL the pres face, mocking them, glorious :D Nagatoro is absent, and talking to the friends was a funny scene, they actually made him visit her, nice :D lol senpai, the friends said she was already recovered, ofc she isn't in the floor :D oh AneToro, interesting combination of words |

| For a starter, I am glad that Nagatoro didn't get mad at Naoto for The Locker Incident and was rather quite understanding; he owes her for not exposing him and making a target for pranks out of him. By the way, it's an interesting detail that more characters were introduced as Hayase's friends and acquaintances and it gets me wondering whether they were just filler characters or if they will play an important role in the story. Also, the marathon sketch was a great emotional rush and I'm all for it! It proved that not only Nagatoro but also her friends care for Naoto, and so does he when it comes to them; while the former might have been sort of obvious for a while now, it's always nice to confirme the latter. All in all, it seems like each character brings the best out of the others, which is really cool! And, finally, the moment many people had been waiting for ever since the promotional videos were released: NAGATORO'S OLDER SISTER IS JOINING THE CAST! What will Ane-toro's part be in the show? What impact will she have in the development of Hayase and her senpai's storyline? I cannot wait to find out! |

| You can see that Naoto took Nagatoro's advice to heart when she advises him to just ask someone if he wants to invite them for something, essentially, just be more initiative. WELL, initiative he becomes, within this ep alone, Naoto took the initiative to prepare for the marathon, asking Orihara about Nagatoro's whereabouts, going out of his comfort zone to deliver Nagatoro's phone to her class, asking Gamo about Nagatoro's absence, visiting the Nagatoro household, bro became infinitely more social when he simply initiate an act of his own accord first. Well done Seeenpai! I have to point out that I absolutely love the scene where Nagatoro carried Naoto on her back, with a colorful visual of the sea glistening in the background along with my favourite OST from this show, it was only for a brief moment, but that picturesque scene is one of the moments I will adore in this season so far. That OST man... It's fantastic and emits a sort of vibrant spring/summer holiday type of vibe. For me this is the highlight of this ep And finally, we get to see another member of the Nagatoro household, ANETORO! Not her real name cuz that's has not been disclosed in the anime just yet : ) |

| It's been one season and he doesn't know her first name.. If this were a different anime, he would've noticed the hinges of the locker were on the right, allowing him to hide his escape if he was quick enough. Nagatoro didn't rat him out but accepted her returned phone. FRIENDS???? Slipstream! I don't think Yoshi should've been disqualified. Anetaro?? All Nagatoro talks about at home is her sempai I bet. |

| President running in that bunny outfit for some reason was not that surprising. Wasn't expecting we'd seeing an older sister but looks like it happened. I imagine she is going to like teasing mc just as much as Nagatoro. |

| getting carried by 4 girls has to be the most embarassing moment even in his life. still this was a pretty entertaining episode by nagatoro standards. had a few laughs. nice. |

| Nagatoro is an incredibly strong woman, I'll give her that. Even though her senpai must weight at least 20%-30% more than her (even though he's slim, for their height difference alone), she managed to carry him remarkably well on her own. Her big sister part must be something good! She's gonna humiliate the hell out of her haha... Also, gotta give it to Gamo-chan for being generous to the two of them and sending senpai to Nagatoro's house! She knew what she was doing. |

Given that she barely carried him for more than one minute, I'd say it's perfectly reasonable, for a woman. But that's just my take on it. |
