i see a lot of bisco x pawoo shippers here but that was so disappointing to me? like i don't think i consume a lot of... gay media and i'm definitely not mad about other straight ships out there but this one was just.... eh.... how is milo gonna say he loves bisco and then he just hands him off to his sister like that? idk, light novel readers pls tell me they don't actually get married lmao

ya, sure , let's pretend that Sasaki and Miyano don't exist, or all the webtoons and webcoics about that S***

meanwhile, people like myself still waiting for a decent age gap Older woman/Younger men Romance story and I doubt Pawoo as much older then Pisco as I hope

On Topic: I find it hard to believe I managed to watch all the episodes, The story just lacks depth

If I gonna be honest, the Kurkowa Tensei/ Kurokawa death machine arc was a bit overboard. The reasoning as to why and how Bisco came back to life felt quite meh. Wouldn't that mean rust plus rust-eater mushrooms can heal literally anything? I mean, he just took an arrow to the heart and rusted into a corpse.

And Kurokawa, mushroom keeper; sure. But how did he come back to life? If the Tensi-death robot were programmed/ inherited some of Kurokawa's memories, that would be one thing. Although, with Kurokawa attached/molten into its forehead. Nah, it doesn't sit right with me...

I would personally find it more satisfying with Bisco dying after his Terminator reference, and stuffed moved on from there. With an active Tensi-death-robot, maybe. With Bisco and Kurokawa returning from the afterlife, maybe not.

I would personally just have a series with a beginning, a middle, and an ending that isn't the end of the beginning... This is just my opinion though.
Otherwise, I really like this anime! It got a good art pallet, overall (except for the last part) a decent story, and characters who distinguish themself from each other, as well as being memorable!

This was one of the most overtly GAY shows I've ever seen! Some of the gay scenes/quotes this last episode.

"Damn Bisco your bodies hot"
"Wait Bisco!" "Wow that things bulging!"
The scene where Panda puts his head in biscos lap, but weirdly looks like he's giving him head in the cut right before.
"if I interrupt their moment my brother won't speak to me again"
"You should praise me like that more often"
...So yeah gaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Also the last 4 episodes sucked and made no sense, first none of this would have happened if you just killed Kurokawa when y'all had the chance. Also how did Kurokawa and Bisco survive the molten lava/mental/whatever.

ugh, 4/10

what a journey indeed for past 3 months.

definitely hidden gem from Winter 2022.

it wasn't a Strong first Season, so i give it just 6/10

It’s on me for having some “not-so-average” expectations out of this, and to say I'm utterly disappointed may be a bit of an exaggeration on my part, but still it doesn’t deny the fact just how predictable and plain the overall writing was. And to no one’s surprise they went for a happy-go-lucky ending like this.

Pretty forgettable, and would be glad if we never see any sort of continuation.

Not really. Good show, your negative review makes we want to go all Will Smith on you tbh. If you dont like it dont watch it.

Started off strong then lost a bit of steam in the middle. But I still enjoyed it.

A few caveats.
The 0 to 100 badass Milo felt rushed. A lot. Like about 4 episodes of character development went missing. Also would may have improved eith additional work building in there as well.

The Pawoo and Bisco kiss thing. It felt forced. They really didn't have any deep dynamic going on and if they were supposed to then again additional episodes would have helped. As is the way it just happened and Milo randomly telling Bisco to date his sister felt like it was trying to have its cake and eat it with the BL.

Make it seem like Bisco and Milo could work but at the same time say no sorry only hetero end goals allowed.

A shame as there was definitely much more chemistry between Bisco and Milo then there ever was with Pawoo.

Don't get me wrong any other circumstances I would totally be down for a taller woman in a relationship. But it just doesn't snt work here with other more establishes relationships

mediocre show, terrible last few episodes.

pawoo and bisco barely know each other and have no chemistry. feels like the kiss was just there to satiate the ppl who only ship hetero and act like they didn't steer the romantic development in a completely different direction for most of the show.

lol'd at budget colossal titan the first time I saw it and several times following.

overall quite forgettable and shockingly dull for an anime in such an outlandish setting, 3/10

It's for sure an interesting series.

But it also does have some weird confusing moments... lol

They beat the "Rust" and the "MC" got the "girl"

What I want to know now is... if Bisco and Pawoo have kids... would the kids also be half-Rust-Eater?

If they do, doesn't it mean if Bisco and Pawoo go crazy and had bunch of Kids, they'll literally have an army of Rust Eater?

So instead of wandering around cleaning Rust one-by-one (who knows how long it'll take), might as well just make kids 24/7, LOL.

(especially since apparently they're still "wanted" by the government even when the "head" is dead, meaning Bisco and Panda can only clean Rust very slowly while sneaking around)
(plus Bisco doesn't want to be the "Rust Eater"... he doesn't really give a fuck about the world, remember, his initial reason for traveling was to save the old man, not to save the world)
(also evidenced by the fact the "Rust Eater Medicine" are "capitalized" to be expensive so poor people can't afford it, who's producing and selling it anyways? did Panda make it and sell it to rich ppls only? Greed? HUHH?)

So wouldn't it be better if the Rust Power can be passed down? It would solve Bisco's laziness AND save everyone, including the poor.

___ ___ ___

Other thing is... they still haven't explain where the "Rust" (Tetsujin) came from? was it a weapon made by a mad scientist? All we know is they showed it suddenly appearing and destroying Tokyo and the Rust spread across the entire world (somehow across Oceans)

Actually, we don't even know if the world outside of Japan is infected by Rust... cause they only ever showed Japan, they never mentioned outside of Japan.

Who knows, maybe there's no actual "Rust" outside of Japan and everyone outside still lives regularly where only Japan is Quarantined.

(tho it also doesn't explain where the "giant organisms" came from (crab, snails, flying fish...) were they a byproduct mutated by the Rust? cause we saw back in ep 1, the world were "our modern world" (skyscraper cities), no giant animals anywhere, if there were giant animals, the skyscrapers would be constantly damaged or there will be giant anti-air weapons everywhere on top of skyscrapers, basically imagine our current world but with those giant blow fish everywhere flying around)

It was really interesting and fun to watch till that tetsujin and God Bisco appeared. It's true that most of us were disappointed to see them kill off Bisco so early but there was no need to bring him back after all those drama in episode 9. And that colossal titan looking Tetsujin shooting beams everywhere ruined the anime for me.

I know many of you all are excited to see PawooxBisco but I find their development really rushed. Also it would've been better if Pawoo was not related to Milo, considering the attachment Milo and Bisco has with each other I can't help but find it weird to see him end up with Milo's sister. It's kinda cringey to me. It would've made more sense if he ended up with Tirol instead of Pawoo.

In the end the only thing that continued to be amazing was the music.

Overall 7/10

Well I warned peoples from the start that this title's good point was essentially the crazy world and the over the top fight scenes/crazy ability used, and that the story and characters were very basic, and so they shouldn't over hype it.
So I'm not very surprised at some of the reactions. You guys should have just taken this story for what it has to offer imo, in which case it's still a pretty entertaining ride. Disappointed folks clearly had way too high expectations for literally no reasons.

Still wish they adapted more than one vol though. I wanted to have the shark animated ( that shit is so much of a nightmare fuel that even CHADtagawa ran away scared shitless the moment he saw it xD ), and yeah I know that animating City Abilities fom vol 3 would have cost the budget of this whole show for like every 1-2 minute of animation of them, but nonetheless, that would have been cool to see. Also vol 2 has imo a way, way better story than vol 1.

If you know anything about genetics you know that any of the kids can be or not a rust eater, they cannot be half. If the rust eater gene is in the mix it will be one if not no.

Pawoo kissed Akaboshi and that was great. LOL. It was an alright series. I had high expectations from it and it didn't deliver. Sad to say this. But... it was pretty average. Dunno if there will be any continuation to this but we'll see.

Pawoo is my favorite character in this show. She's hot, badass, caring, and fucking beautiful. I love her.

Also, Milo x Tirol is great as well. Just like Pawoo x Bisco. Wouldn't mind the bromance as well.

man, this season hit on so many levels, but the plot fell apart towards the end. damn shame

bisco was great. the panda's sister was, too. even that pink haired girl wasn't half bad. i didn't really like the panda though

the music was perfect. the aesthetics were fantastic. and for awhile there i thought this might be a 9/10 type of show. but it wasn't meant to be

so we have no clue how he was able to survive... guess that and the god ruster eater part will be for next season. i assume there will be a season 2? though idk if i'll watch it myself

7/10. could've been damn good. instead it was only regular good. oh well

It was an okay show. It could have been a good show if the author wrote a believable post-apocalyptic adventure setting. The whole mushroom and rust thing didn't make much sense. The character were alright but the story was meh. Kurokawa's plot armor literally carried the show towards the end.

My aim is to see these pairs ~Pawoo x Bisco and Tirol x Milo~ get together but no, what we got is a BL end or I think it was, which was really weird. 5~6/10. Tirol (Iino's VA from Kaguya-sama love is war) was exceptional but we only got a few of them from the earlier episodes and Pawoo (it feels like a grown-up Akame from Akame ga kill) was a good character and probably a good woman... 👀

Instead of getting a heartfelt friendship dialogue, again, Milo acted like what a girl would say. It gives me the creeps. 😶😶😶

The series could've been better but I won't go there.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Nice ending.
Bisco's revival was pretty predictable but it was still welcoming after his useless death.
The whole journey was pretty crazy and I enjoyed it. Its not the best and its plenty flawed but I think that it gets the job done for entertaining viewers and the relationship between every character is beautiful as well. The bromance was cool and I am happy that Bisco x Pawoo ship sailed. That kiss was great and Pawoo is a great wife material.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

High potential, bad execution. The beginning was okay, but it was all over the places afterwards and the writing and progression was waaay too fast suddenly. Still a 6/10 it has some enjoyable moments, so it was fine overall. The romance and the kiss was probably the worst relationship I've seen in a very long time, it didn't fit at all with the story telling and interactiosn they had over the anime.

Bisco and Pawoo met like four times and suddenly it's a big love? Lol
And she hated him for most of the anime so then what happened?
If the authors didn't want to make BiscoxMilo a couple then at least they should just not create any kind of romantic relationships because they just seem forced and unbelivable.
And first half of the anime was good, later it just became too chaotic.

How to ruin your anime in 4 episodes~

Everything after the Governor fight in the office was actual trash.

Hell, if they could go ahead and split the first 8? Episodes into an Anime and have the final 4 as an OVA...
I would be able to rate the first part as a solid 8/10 and the last 4 episodes as a 1/10

But as it stands I'm just going to average it out to a generous 4/10
