| season 1 is one of my top 10 anime of all time, legendary harem (outside of visual novel harems) I really want to get more into the manga here as soon as I can, and see all the lovely girlfriends chadtarou will add to his collection :P hopefully more lolis and spicy additions like mommy was |

| I gotta be honest, I do not like harem anime and I came in watching this expecting to drop it, just needed to see the train wreck. It is indeed a train wreck, pure garbage one might say, but holy hell do I fucking love this. It is so absurd and ridiculous, but it doesn’t take itself seriously one bit, it’s just so damn fun. I’m looking forward to more, and trying to contain myself to wait for season 2 instead of reading ahead in the manga. Liking the peek at the next batch of girlfriends we saw |

Season 2 will focus on the 5 new girlfriends. Hehe. This is truly the pinnacle of the harem genre of anime. I'm up to date on the manga but I can't wait to see the next 5 girls brought to life.
| @CheliosX Literally, this is the apex of the harem genre, and belongs with the legendaries like DxD and To Love-RU, but even then 100 Girlfriends has infinitely more respect for its characters than those two. Absolute gold mine of a show. |

I wholly agree with you, dude. This show is just spectacular. I totally love it. The more girls I see, the more chad Rentarou becomes. Likeeeeee.
| @CheliosX And honestly, the girls aren't even the main thing in fans' hearts. It's fucking Chadtarou. You don't see other harem protags getting this love, Chadtarou is literally him. Everyone should try to treat their SOs at least 10% of how Rentarou does, because nobody could be as great as he is, which is what makes the show so awesome. If Kazuya from Rent a Girlfriend had this harem it wouldn't be nearly as respectable or high quality. Honestly, it would just be your typical fan service shlock with a high budget. |

| I enjoyed it but it was perhaps a bit too 'safe'. The god popping up at the beginning and all the talk about the girls dying if they don't get together piqued my interest and made me think there'd be a bit more drama or challenge involved, but it's sort of just a harem checklist so far. I'm also curious to see how they manage to make all the girls unique enough. They've been pretty good so far, but 100 is a lot, especially considering it seems to be set in modern Japan rather than a fantasy world. |
