| Ryuuto and Runa still has an awkward relationship...I kinda wish they just went back to the way things were before. Even though it was repetitive, at least it wasn't very awkward. They didn't hold back their emotions this episode though. On the other hand, I'm glad Nikrou found a partner that she can trust. She's probably not experienced with love but Shuugo seems like a decent person to be around with. Glad the show made her relevant in these latest episodes. |

| Another wave of emotional damage between Ryuuto and Runa again... It escalated rather quickly after Ryuuto got hit by a car toy and sadly they didn't attempt to hold back their emotions. I'm glad they didn't break up after all the embarrassment. Only one episode left and let's see if we can deserve a decent ending. |

| It's tough for Ryuto's friends. One of them got turned down, and the other has to watch their crush with someone else. Ijichi became a recluse after Akari rejected him, while Nishi harbored unrequited feelings for Nikro. Although Nikro seemed to have rekindled her relationship with Kanzaki upon their reunion, things weren't going smoothly. Amidst the fluctuating romantic entanglements, the connection between Ryuto and Luna, seemingly calm on the surface, lacked mutual understanding, remaining awkward. Finally, Luna made a certain decision. I can't believe how Seikya just flat-out turned down Nikro like that? I honestly thought they were a way better match than the main couple. I'm kinda hoping they'll patch things up after his exams, but then again, he did make her cry, so who knows. And poor Ijichi and Nishi, especially Ijichi, things aren't going so well for them. I totally get Ijichi using games to distract himself from the whole rejection ordeal; it's so relatable. And seriously, being 'just classmates' and then getting classmate-zoned? If only getting back together after a breakup happened as quickly in real life. That's something you only see in anime Took Luna practically the entire show, but she finally spilled the beans about her and Maria. And that cliffhanger at the end—sex for the finale? |

| Sports car saved and slightly halted the day. With better animations, most of the scenes would had a more poignant emotional impacts. Still, the point is successfully brought across.  |

| It's good that Runa and Ryuto are still friends, though Sekiya and Nicole's relationship has been repaired, and while Ijichi's confession to Akari is quite the blow, things aren't quite looking good for most of them. However, even Nicole had her moment that Sekiya dumped her because of his focus on studies, but it's obvious that their relationship did went further, it will deteriorate into a rather dirty and sexual one, which he wants to spend his high school years with ease. For now, it's Ryuto's problem dealing with both Runa and Maria, and as coincidence would have it, both Ryuto and Maria coincidentally met on their way home, and as much as she has feelings for him, she also wants to support Runa's relationship with him and clear the misconceptions from before. But a sudden molester assault has Ryuto all concerned about Maria, though Runa also understands the seriousness of the matter. Runa asking for a breakup with Ryuto, it's also her first (though an unpleasant one), but the memories of being the first to be a couple proper, acting like this sure feels like they're being childish about their love, though their raw emotions show that they still love each other despite their differences. This puts the brakes on the Friendship Project, though Maria still has the same earring that Runa gave her all those years ago. The truth about them, with Runa casually exposing their sisterhood relationship and reconciliation with the earrings, it has been a rumour for quite some time, but it sure is about time for everyone to know the truth about them. Quite the tearjerker penultimate episode that reminds all that love is finicky, full of ups and downs. |

| I figured Nicole's relationship wouldn't last but I was wrong about Runa and Ryuto as I thought they were also going to break up. Also, I thought it was pathetic how Ryuto cried and said how he wanted to keep the relationship going at a public park, kind of the opposite attitude of Nicole's ex. At least they made Maria look better. |
| Didn't like the way Runa seemed to talk only to herself without even trying to listen to Ryuuto. At least he managed to say he doesn't want to break up, I don't blame him for getting emotional. Yes, yes, they're kids in highschool and it's okay to make mistakes. So I'll just roll my eyes and move on. Nicole's ex though had some doughy logic. I get it, he has priorities, but just say what you really mean, no need to hurt your gf on purpose so she forgets you. Hope she really does, cause if they end up together again it would be kinda toxic. His attitude already tells that he doesn't really love her or care, even in previous episode he never apologised. He was just nostalgic for a girl who liked him for something other than his looks. Glad that Maria drama is over (hopefully). |

The only issue I have with the scene is that the animation was pretty ass during it. If that was cloverworks or A-1 doing that scene it would be insane. Still, the seiyuus did a good job of conveying the emotion and pain there. Yea, Sekiya didn’t cry with his breakup, but that’s because he’s older and more experienced, plus he knows him breaking up with Nicole is for the best. Different stages in life, that’s a real mature decision to make. I appreciate that he doesn’t string her along and he’s honest. This leaves the door open for Ryuuto’s friend lol. By the way, our MC Ryuto is by far the most human / real one i have seen in a while, this is going to be a solid 8 score for sure. Cant understand the critics at this point |

| this is the most boring insipid unrealistic relationship I've seen in a rom com. |
| This one really surprised me, I was thinking they’d break up this episode and the last episode would be a mostly sad one until they finally came back together, but what actually happened was that they ended up getting back together again (like that Hall & Oates song lol) in the same meeting that was meant for the breakup, I really liked that, they actually talked everything out albeit while crying lol, and they ended on a laugh after that kid hit Ryuto with his toy car, capped that scene off nicely. And we ended up having a nice ending to the Kurose drama too with the friendship plan turning into a sister plan, that was nice to see because even tho Kurose was the core of the drama, I definitely didn’t want to see things end poorly for her. What was unfortunate tho was what happened with Nicole, it seemed like she hit it off with Sekiya but I guess he wasn’t ready for commitment or something lol, poor Nicole tho. And if the final episode title isn’t trolling, is Ryuto finally getting some next episode? That’s exciting if so lol, and it would be a good place to end this great show on. |
| I still defend to the death that this anime is not nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be. It's half decently animated, somewhat realistic in terms of romantic relationships (at least for anime), and actually develops a relationship instead of two people afraid to hold hands. How this has a lower score than Rent-a-Girlfriend I will never understand. |

| No drama!!! 🙌 OH COME ON!!!! AT LEAST LET ME BE HAPPY FOR MORE THAN A MINUTE AFTER THE OP!!! That said, I mulled over it for a bit, and I felt that last episode's painfully garbo drama actually brought this down to a 6/10, not an 8/10. All the blegh teen drama wore me out so much that even the Runa/Ryuto crying scene didn't do anything for me, despite that being the first thing to not feel forced in a while. I'm not gonna watch a season 2 of this anime, if such a thing happens. Gimme a second season of that one anime that's falling apart every episode, the animation quality is so terrible there that it's actually fun to watch, in spite of how much I despise the actual romance there. It'd be less embarrassing if they just phoned it in with this anime. I'll watch the last episode, but beyond that, the cute moments were cute, the drama was mostly a miss, and I'm just going hope that another anime comes around that can do drama better. |

I will agree with the comments saying the animation wasn't up to par, and that the voice acting did the heavy lifting. The ending for this episode is such a tease. After reading some spoilers for later entries for the light novels, I do wonder if they'll go with an anime original ending for the last episode.... |
| I would've been really angry if they made Luna blow up the fact her sister and Ryuto crossed paths out of proportion again. So glad the "break up" of this episode was just based on her realising that she is hurting the relationship with her mental issues and she wanted to let him go because she was feeling bad about it. That is kind of mature, even though she SHOULD be open about these thoughts and allow him to decide for himself if he wants to deal with these kind of situations happening over and over again - so that's the immature part about this break up. But it's good that Ryuto finally spoke up and they could settle this matter. |
