| Oh boy, Mikio Tanuki is here and let's just say that is a bit of a womanizer, who isn't really afraid to show what he wants. Not going to lie, having a character like him made this show more entertaining even for the sake of drama. The character chemistry this episode was also strangely amusing imo, like that hands holding scene. |

| Oh no, look, another weirdo's going after our heroine, lol. I was wondering when will the laid back, blonde haired, never cares about anything kinda bad boy love interest gonna show up xD, and here he is. But hey, at least he's the same age range as Isaku this time, right ... And since the animation is collapsing, the story status quo collapsing is also a welcoming sight. |

| A newbie has just entered the residence, and Mikio Tanuki is a rather uncouth guy...how will Keiya keep Mikio's hands off Isaku? The girls' date at Katsuki's has herself and Ando being enthusiastic about Isaku's prospects of dating Keiya, though the latter's afraid to test the waters with him. Mikio getting in a fight, then seeing Isaku but missing Keiya, it looks as if that Mikio has found a way to kill time: by transferring into Isaku's class. But he also has to keep quiet about the matter as well, which requires the both of them to be strict on him. That said, both Ando and Katsuki really want to rally Isaku and Keiya's romance by putting on a play for the cultural festival...that with Mikio's obstruction of a simple rock-paper-scissors, acts as Romeo. But even worse, Isaku has no acting experience, and Mikio tries to play with her, though I'd give the fact that Keiya is the better actor. The love triangle between Keiya and Mikio for Isaku, who will win her heart more? |

| So Mikio just wanna cause mayhem out of boredem and amusement? He is less a character and more of an obstacle to for them to overcome. There is nothing likeable about this guy, so I'm really annoyed by him. |

| wooow so great, let's slow down their progress even more and add annoying character and start being lazy with the animation, it's so weird in couple of scenes and the anime is getting boring, in 7 episodes barely anything happened |
| Even the movie they were watching had little to no animation... such unfortunate world they live in xD If they are planning to play that "he might get jealous seeing those two together and then realizes his true feelings" cliche, then just please stop. STOP. We don't want his self realization nor do we want to see him together with that girl... in any shape or form. Also, that moving drawing with blonde hairs should try to speak like a normal person. Would save many from an unneeded headache. |

| they excluded the scene in the beginning where isaku gets groped from behind by tanuki during their first meeting. trying to save his character, if only even slightly lol but another ass character to add to this show's list anyway. annoying polygon going on for this romeo and juliet play, but damn this animation is just sad lol. |

| I didn’t like Mikio in the manga but I’m actually happy to see him here because I’m so tired of Keiya the creeper. Her expressions when she was acting were so weird. I’m tired of mentioning the terrible animation. |
| I don't think I have much to say about this anymore. Except for that I'd rather watch the movie they watched in the beginning than this. Looked pretty good and interesting... Whoever wrote these characters doesn't know how to write proper characters. Even Isaku who was promising at first... And this new guy is already so annyoing I'd almost side with Keiya if he wouldn't be Keiya... |

| I for one am really excited to have some drama in the form of Mikio now. Red flags all around. It’s funny because everyone talks about Keiya giving off red flags, but this dude gave off more red flags in 25 minutes than Keiya ever has. Keiya is literally Isaku’s bodyguard so of course he’s got to stay close to her given who she’s the granddaughter of. One mistake and it would be his neck on the line. Not only is the new dude creepy as hell, but he’s only even getting involved with Isaku to annoy Keiya. Really wish he could just get knocked out 💀 having him be kinda untouchable is a cool way of making the story more interesting though. Isaku looked absolutely gorgeous with her new hairstyle in preparation for playing Juliet in the play. Again, just wish the art and animation was a little better.. really hurts moments like this that are supposed to stand out in a shoujo. I really thought Keiya was gonna kiss her there ugh 😩 we were so close Either way, great episode and I can’t to see how things go with the play next week. |

| A new character is introduced, and at least he is at the same age of Isaku. Let's see how this love rivalry will go until the end. I hate to repeat the same thing again but the animation quality is getting even worse, it hurts my eyes so much. |

| I thought Keiya had gotten a haircut a minute but he was just drawn off standard lol Mikio comes off kind of like a pest but im not too annoyed by him since it is fitting for a conflict character. |

Delayed on watching this episode, and not even three minutes in, I'm laughing at something that's not meant to be funny. Everything about this just looks fuckin' weird! Why's his head completely static, even when he talks? Why is he just sliding upwards? And since it made me laugh, here's a pre-made MAL profile pic version.  Literally everything from 18 minutes 35 seconds to 20 minutes has a sunset color filter applied to all the characters, even though the whole scene still is very much NOT sunset, only changing exactly at the 20 minute mark, when the animators realized that a daylight scene with sunset characters looks really scuffed. Nothing else I can immediately point to as "who the fuck cares" tier animation, but the animation quality just felt gross, in a way that I can't compare to anything else. Last episode was so impossibly bad that I hyperfixated on one of Project No.9's other current anime, Hikikomari Kyuketsuki no Monmon, and there ain't jack or fuck wrong with the animation there, so it seems like Project No.9 ain't a bad studio, but instead that this is just something they want to delegate the least amount of time and care to. Still just mid enough to avoid being "bad", in terms of everything beneath the eye crust. |

| Ofc they just had to add an annoying third wheel. It ain't a shoujo romance without em. This episode was quite annoying to watch, had to watch it in multiple sittings and I was enjoying this so far too. Also the animation, visuals keep getting worse every episode. |

| Well one thing I’m happy about is that this episode did seem to look better than the last one overall, still some bad stuff here and there but not as bad as the last one at least, it was quite the fun episode too with the introduction of Mikio, I like that he isn’t necessarily into Isaku and more so just wanting to fuck with Keiya lol, and it’s definitely been working so far. And when it comes to the play the class is doing for the festival, with Keiya playing Tybalt and Mikio playing Romeo, I think we’re gonna have an improvised play on our hands because I don’t think Keiya is gonna be able to hold back when the actual play starts lol, definitely looking forward to it and hoping they can get the art and animation to be more consistent as always. |
| Tanuki's personality is just so annoying. Personally, I don't like him. But to move the story forward, he's a great addition. |

| The manga deserves so much more than this. The blonde guy pissed me off so much in the manga. Wait till you see what's in store later *sigh* he's literally just a troll. Also, I remember the conversation between the blonde guy and Isaku was longer than whatever happened at the start. Its been a while so I can't remember exactly. They should've done best 2 out of 3 wtf the animation was better in this episode though, I didn't notice anything major. Rip the friend's plan :( |

| Halfway through this episode, I decided to drop this Anime because mostly of the animation and it is so damn cringey. The animation feels like clipart being animated through Powerpoint. The editing is so weird that cuts in between scenes that you can't understand what's going on. Maybe, I could've stayed longer to see how awkward this series' animation going to be but eh... C'est La Vie. My second series ever to drop. |

| The moment Tanuki Mikio asked if Isaku has a boyfriend, Keiya got angry. Isaku visited her friend's house and had fun, and spoke about her feelings for Keiya vaguely. Mikio tries to hit on Isaku, and Keiya stops him. Mikio calls Keiya wakagashira, which most probably means heir to the gang. I thought he was just one of those top brasses, and not the next to succeed. Mikio transferred to their high school to have fun. He's going to have fun ruining their peace. Those two friends of hers push her and Keiya into playing the main characters of Romeo and Juliet. This is a way of them pushing those two together. But Mikio won Rock Paper Scissors against Keiya and became Romeo. Mikio is having damn fun teasing them. |
