| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Omg, that was an awesome 45 minutes of entertainment. I saw this by chance on TokyoTosho and because of its name I just had to check it out >_<. So like, I expected something really, really, really dumb. Oh, how right I was! But here's the catch: It's not the bad kind of dumb!! On top of the "normal" plot of a christian girl in a religion school fighting an evil cult with butt attacks, while wearing a sumo loincloth, we have Darth Vader sumo fighting, uber ridiculous butt print contests starring Duke Nukem and much more. This has got to be one of the funniest self-ironic anime of the 90s ever. From a technical point of view.. well it's kinda old, sure, but by no means bad.. the main character Mari looks pretty cute and her voice actress does a great job imo. If only current "really, really dumb" anime like Queen's Blade put so much effort into being actually bearable and watchable, let alone enjoyable for any other reason than being able to shittalk to other people about them. |

| I watched this because of the name too and because I thought it was going to be so bad to be a classic. I was really pleasantly surprised but it and thought it was pretty funny. It really is a bit of a hidden gem. |

| I watched this today,I also couldn't resist something with such an outrageous title. It was really a wicked parody. It poked fun at religion which some might find insulting. I wasn't offended but I can see why others would be offended. A very funny anime with a heavy layer of ecchi. |

| My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by this title. We have basically started watching these old one shots for unintentional entertainment value, but this was genuinely amusing. I think Buddha was the funniest thing about the whole show. |

| I watched it expecting something bad. And it was bad, but damn entertaining. Animation was much better than I expected such ridiculous story would have. And the voice acting isn't half bad either. |

| Not as bad as I was expecting with that 5 avg rating and that description. I agree that more yuri would have helped move my rating up. Hopefully things get spicy in part 2. Thanks pewdiepie for bringing this classic to my attention |
I love this premise. Also the fact that Buddha is such a ridiculous character but then the Christian saints are nowhere when Mari prays to them. |

| Absolutely insane, horny, and kind of righteous in the way that Gautaman attacks the evil cult that is abusing women and the school in general. I am not sure if I understand what it is trying to say about religion. Mari and Saori are so cute together! |
