| This gets worse and worse.. 1. Kuku - forget climbing on the wall, but pulling up Tokio from her hanging position then switching to being on top while still was holding him is just impossible for human body... that is why they didn't show this 2. almost everyone in the "school" are lesbian or gay.. first girls kissing each other and now triangle of boys want to kiss and touch each other.. one boy who likes a girl is shown as something bad and forbidden, but the maleXmale and femaleXfemale is totally beautiful?! If this is not a LGBT anime show me what is! 3. OP is ok - average, but ED is bad in song and what is shown 4. the only thing good in this episode was that machine thing, that sends nude pics, hides live camera, etc |

| The faceless babies in fact have a similar mark to what the man-eaters have. Are they infant man-eaters? Marijuana and cardboard absorbed the water suit the armed fish had, incapacitating it. Knew something was fishy about Kuku. Given Maru's vague resemblance to Tokio I was half-expecting the armed fish to say her name when Maru killed it with his "Maru Touch" ability. The CCTV didn't catch Kuku and Tokio climbing up the wall into the shaft, nor did it catch them struggling to leave the room with the faceless babies. Someone (either the AI that controls the whole facility or tech-savvy Shiro) substituted the footage so the adults wouldn't catch them. So Kona at least is aware of the concept of love (reciprocating his feelings to Tokio) but it seems the adults are deliberately not teaching these kids about puberty (they comment that they did not teach Nanaki and Iwa that behaviour), and Shiro feels the urges for Mimihime but can't neither of them piece it together. The adults or the AI could have sent Mimihime's nude pic to Shio as an experiment to see if he'd have those urges without knowledge of what it is. Assuming Kuku took a liking to his armed fish so she became one, perhaps the stages of life of every child in the facility is faceless baby->human-looking kids like kuku->man eaters imprinted with the design in Kona's drawings. After a second look at the symbol on the gun, it's a Yatagarasu, the three-legged-crow and a sun (thought the shipowners would say they recognise it as the logo of the JFA lol). You-kan eat it! In a way Kiruko and Maru are going on the journeys Haruki imagined he would've had with Kiriko when he blacked out. |

| Definitely getting Promised Neverland / Shinsekai Yori vibes like others have mentioned. So these babies (and I assume they get raised to become like these children) are the Man-Eaters. I wonder why the camera couldn't pick up on the two intruders, I assume the AI program controlling the building has some different ideas compared to the researchers and wants to help them? |

| The interactions between Kiruko & Maru in the post-apocalyptic world are my favourite part of this. So far the show has done a good job of making their journey compelling while slowly advancing an overarching plot point. Could probably string together an entire season of these two navigating a post-apocalyptic world together, and it'd be enjoyable. There's something very soothing about exploring familiar ruins. Society reverts to a pre-industrial time, yet the technology is still available in a limited quantity. Life grows much less complicated. My hope is Haruki's relationship with his sister (specifically being in her body) is revealed to us. "Seeing the world through another's eyes" is literally what Kiruko has done for 5 years now. Every time Kiruko sees her reflection, she's reminded of her past & goal. The b-plot is mostly mystery without much compelling at the moment, though that seems to be changing with this episode. |
