| Lot of sport anime cliches this episode, and I cringed at all of them. I didn’t see the need for a sport tournament arc in this show but it’s alright ig. |
| To say this episode and the judo arc in general is a major turning point in the story is an understatement. Ever since reading this part in the manga and hearing the announcement in the anime, I was waiting for this moment - and they nailed it. I was so happy to see this animated. There were so many great things about this episode. First of all we finally learn more about Nagatoro as a person - about her past, her motivations and her struggles. I thought her whole story about how she used to beat Orihara with ease and then suddenly lost to her was really relatable. Often times in life things come easy to you and you don't feel like you need to put in much effort - but in the end others who work harder will always beat you in the end and that's what happened to Nagatoro and it can be pretty discouraging - devastating even, making you give up. Seeing Orihara again after all this time and now that she has become so much better must have felt really bad for Nagatoro to the point where she almost gave up. With some much needed encouragement from Senpai she was able to face her opponent again and almost win and find her resolve again to try and beat her. At the same time our Senpai keeps getting braver and braver. While the last year he lost in the judo tournament miserably this year he was willing to get out of his comfort zone and train with Nagatoro which almost got him the victory vs a much stronger but otherwise not very skilled guy. But the best moment for him was when the whole crowd was cheering for Orihara he went against them and cheered for Nagatoro instead. For a timid guy like him it must have been pretty hard to go against the crowd, but as a result Nagatoro was really moved and happy about that and went as far as promising him a kiss in case she wins in the future. I guess from that point on it is pretty clear it's not a question of "if" they get together - it's a question of "when". And now we have a definite goal in mind. |
| Finally, the Judo Tournament! A major turning point for both characters and an explanation for why Nagatoro often seemed so directionless and why she was trying out different clubs. I really enjoyed that, even though I knew neither would win, I kept hoping maybe they’d change it for the anime! 😅 Still, I think the next Judo tournament that Nagatoro will be motivated to win no matter what. Next episode- an udderly terrifying new challenger appears! 😉 |

This was probably my favorite episode of season 2 so far but at this point I feel that season 1 was funnier with more teasing antics although I do like that Nagatoro's and Naoto's relationship is progressing as shown by Nagatoro wanting a kiss if she beats Orihara next time.My first time watching a Judo fight, seems interesting. Senpai actually shouting cheering for Nagatoro is so cute, everyone heard him. It's also cute when they both losing because of times up. Usually Nagatoro will win, but this is the first episode seeing her losing. The next episode preview.... Guess that's the president younger sister, she get along with Nagatoro it seem.... And she becoming her sister next fan service... She got a big one but not as big as her older sister. I think that is the president's younger sister and she seems to have also inherited her sister's boobs lol. I'm sure Nagatoro will go crazy when the president's sister appears. |

| Wonderful! Nagatoro basically confessed at the end. They have come a long way, haven't they? Naoto have some confidence and Nagatoro can be almost honest about her feelings occasionally. |

(mou-ippon should learn from this or cooperate with staff) haha lolz its so nice seeing Nagatoro cheering for Sempai and of course the other way around! omg! the romance just keeps increasing exponentially! Nagatoro said: "i'm not messing" cuz sempai thought Nagatoro's just messing with her about the KISS if she wins next time against Orihara! oh god next ep would be interestingly fun as well because of the new character cousin of club pres! nudist as well! haha! IM IN for it!!! 5/5. |

| This Judo Arc was SENSATIONAL!!!! GREAT DEVELOPMENT!!!! ROMANCE PROGRESS!!!!! But its a shame there wasnt a kiss on the lips though, oh well. |

| Oh never know before theres something which makes Nagatoro unease. Its turns out her past judo opponent return which makes an unexpected comeback over her dignity actually crippling her peace high-school judo event and makes her demotivated. However, lucky he have a wimpy Paisen to back her up so she'll never sink into the same abyss again, thus same with her senpai too. Not now gifting that sweet reward to each other, i guess, but yes, its not a tease anymore, Paisen. Wake up and face the reality for once... |

| close but no cigar though i guess for Orihara she has more pressure as someone who's supposed to represent Japan, she definitely has a lot on the line, it would definitely be bad for her reputation if she lost I mean she did work hard over the years trying to beat Nagatoro and never giving up meanwhile with Nagatoro she couldn't get over the fact that she got destroyed by Orihara to the point that she quit Judo. |
| Holy, that was a fucking good episode. The best one so far. Nao is finally getting there. He's genuinely putting in the effort to get better. Nagatoro has finally fired up thanks to Senpai's cheering. Also, that kiss request, in the end, was pretty cute. |
