| I don't follow the manga, however I'm always game to watch some vampire anime. For the most part I found the entire thing incredibly hilarious. I'm inclined to think that this is perhaps a parody of vampire movies? Still that doesn't mean that there weren't some really odd things thrown in. 1) A Romanian vampire who goes to suck blood in Japan... and speaks fluent Japanese. I demand at least a noticeable accent. 2) Mina is a Japanese name... most definitely NOT something that Romanians would name their kids during 1400-1500 ... Oh well, popcorn well spent. P.S. LOL at the amazingly bouncing breasts... which keep bouncing for a while after the lady (fake queen) rose from the "throne". XD |

I found the whole TV-show idea to be interesting, of course I could tell that it would end with some sort of badass vamp to show up, but that didn't make it boring imo. Ok sure the gecko kinda threw me off there for a sec, but overall I liked the introductioin, and I'm really interested in seeing how this show will turn out. (not a manga reader). |

| First 1/3 was let down, the whole transformation scene of Lizardic Vampire was let down. Others were good. Though, I think there are too much unnecessary casts, but we will see. Lol SHAFT is doing it again. Uncompleted Ending animation. |
| Ok I finally saw this subbed. I'm a manga reader and I found this ep OK. SHAFT Just wanted to do an alternate introduction because they probably thought the manga's intro was too dull (Which is kinda true). I hope the next ep will actually follow the manga however, because this ep didn't do that at all. |

| I liked pretty much this episode. Seriously. Whats the most funny thing about it is that the show in the anime was more interesting than the original tv shows that exist in japan. If such show existed, i'd watch every single day. lol I belive people complaining about how different the episode was from the manga are just being childish. Sure, it just cosumed a whole episode, however i belive thats going to help the series skiping some lenghty parts of the manga, which wouldn't be very well interpreted when converted into a anime. |

So it's quite hard to summon interest when you know how it is going to end. What was so bad about the first chapter that they thought this ass water was a suitable stand in? It serves to do nothing other than draw attention to her breasts. And I want this to be a show that can take it's politics seriously. Gag boobs are pretty crass and do not add to such a thing. Nudity is not a problem depending on how nudity is portrayed, in which the manga knew exactly how to pull it off without detracting from the seriousness of the comic. | Very strange way to do a first episode. That said, I'm pretty interested, even though I don't care for vampires. They managed to say all the of the things that a lot of modern vampire properties say (we made some of the myths up to keep us in the shadows) but in a way that didn't feel dull, so props for that. Hopefully this will be more enjoyable than Vampire Knight. |
