A twin sister! Well, there's definitely some drama surrounding Ouka this episode. Outside of tha drama, they also threw in some odd comedy with the masks.

She and her sister has somewhat of an odd relationship if you ask me. At least this episode wasn't all over the place and we got to know Ouka a little bit more.

Akane drama done, Riho drama done… so let's jump on our third victim, shall we? And for the record, she’s Ouka.

Now Ouka may be foul-mouthed, but she that way just to the dude, to the other girls she’s always caring and nice. So I guess it wasn’t much surprising when we figured it wasn’t Ouka, but her twin sister Kikka being rude to other girls, after making an appearance out of nowhere.  But hey I liked how she was pinpoint while describing how each girl’s like, at the very least to Shiragiku and Ami lol. Though to think she’s the first person who raised questions about this not-so-normal settlement where a guy is living with five bombshells… people in their neighbourhood sure are “open” to many things.

Anyways she insulted girls.. insulted dude, but the moment she did the FAMILY, she got a fucking slap across her face from Ouka lmaooo. Don’t insult the family.

But hey I mean they’re twin sisters, and in the end it was just the case of Kikka getting a bit flustered with how her sister never marked her attendance back home and never contacted her as to tell what she’s upto. So they made up just like the normal siblings as well. For Hayato x Ouka.. that thing still kind of far away.

Well well, there is something weird about Ouka, and it has to be her twin sister Kikka who shows up unannounced.

As expected, she's not happy that Ouka is working part-time towards the tune of Hayato and the other girls, and both sisters bicker to the point of insult towards him and the café. And as much as the feelings linger deep in her mind, the joker Ami is worried about her, as well as Akane stuck in the café and brewing her coffee. Deep in Ouka's heart, while the younger sister is the upstanding family favourite taking on her family's distinguished mantle, the older sister is different and wants to pursue something different and make up with her for a lack of better terms.

The twin sisters catching up with each other, and Kikka lashed out at her, knowing that she's also jealous of Ouka's achievements in wanting to become a fashion designer, and having to wear something that she designed. And when the moment came for Kikka to apologize, Hayato and the girls are busy, but not Akane who put up for helping Ouka enjoy the pumpkin cheesecake. There is a way to tell the twin sisters apart: the way that Kikka wears her bag and Ouka being right-handed, with Ami's lashing being the most telling of a family's treatment. The thing is...Hayato is also a Tokyo U student, and there's the thought that Kikka might've seen him before as well.

Coincidence much? Some sisterly drama is norm here...

To think that Ouka has a twin sister. Looks like the visit is because Ouka didn't tell her family her plans. Man Kiika sure was pretty blunt with her review though. But the lineage of the family sure was an impressive one. Though not one that allows them to look down on others. Still in the end im gald that they were able to understand each other in the end. Though convincing her of Giku's purness is gonna be difficult especially when alcohol's involved.

Ouka's twin little sister shows to cause more dram for the Familia Cafe by making poor Ami cry. Although Kikka's assessment of the girls and Hayato were spot on in how they are comfortably living together. Despite all that I still don't find Ouka's character interesting compared to Akane and Riho who are clear front runners.

Another girl of the week predictable naive drama full of tropes with no factor which would make it even a bit special.

I dunno, while technically okay episode, I couldn't really enjoy it a bit. While it made Ouka's character a bit better, she's still my least liked girl. And the rest of the crew really acts like highschoolers rather than young adults most of the time (minus Akane I guess). The writiing is far from stellar.

So letter hurry to last girl the next week and then end this show with harem cliffhanger. Again, as expected.

Beautiful, I loved it, we got to meet Ouka's twin sister, Kikka, which I actually quite liked.

Hayato as always showing why he is a crack of life, giving good advice without having the experience to be able to give it and still does it well xd.

By the way, will it only be 12 episodes or will there be a "cour 2" or something like that?

Hayato dealt a critical hit to the Ouka te dal magnitude, that even the Kikka got to feel the shock wave when she said it wasn't bad at all. Luckily they didn't let her in when the Shiragiku was so affectionate because they would have had to use another complete cap to explain everything, and with the 2 that remain we don't have time to waste XD

Two Oukas huh, sign me up lol. Jokes aside, this was a great one, Ouka’s situation with her sister Kikka was interesting, so Ouka had the wrong idea about her family just like Kikka did about Ouka’s “family”, that was a nice twist on what seemed like another bad family situation lol. And Kikka may have turned it back on Ouka but I’m ngl, Kikka was definitely a bit of a villain when she first arrived lol, not a good first impression in the slightest.

Poor Ami also went through it this episode lol, got confused by Kikka and then thought she hurt Ouka later on, definitely felt bad for her but she bounced back quickly lol. And gotta give it to Akane for being the one to serve Ouka and Kikka since Hayato was caught up in chaos lol, definitely an MVP there.

Damn, first reaction to Ouka's sister was that she's a bitch that deserved that slap but later on repented (still was rude of her to put everyone down). Hayato being the keen observer (minus not realizing that Ouka didn't mention to her sister that he went to Tokyo U too until the end) noticed it wasn't Ouka that insulted Ami and and also noticing that her sister came back the next day presumably to apologize. The talk Hayato had with Ouka shows why he's a good guy and leader, and I'm glad that Ouka and her sister worked things out.

Kiku getting drunk again (probably over some negligible amount of alchohol lol) and Ouka too embarrassed to enter with her sister, probably for the better, it was a great assist from Akane to have them go through the cafe and enjoy coffee and pumpkin cheesecake, props to her.

Definitely a standard harem episode. I really enjoy anime that do these sorts of episodes, expands in the characters it affects quite nicely.  Little disappointed that the animation has gone back to the usual after the commissioned studio was so expressive with the characters last week but c’est la vie.

Nice to see a very The Quintessential Quintuplets storyline this episode, like that series this one deals with direct family.  A decent, if standardly played, lesson on how blood family shows love even if it’s unusual; I do appreciate the nuance of Kikka being just as harsh and blunt as Ouka but still loves her for who she is and how she harbors a bit of jealousy of how Akane and the others get a side of Ouka that she never shows her.  That was neat (or am I just picking at straws here?  Probably am xD).  Neat little arc too with Ami accidentally insulting Ouka and the two make up at the end.

Given that Kikka could assess the others girls quite well, makes me wonder if Ouka will soon realize how much competition she has to wade through.

Also like seeing Ouka finally falling for Hayato.  Simple and sweet; shows Hayato pays attention to her and can say the words she never hears others say.

It was an ok Ouka episode but I find it a little hard to care about the other girls compared to Riho and Akane. Only 2 episodes left and they don't have much time to left to shine.

In this episode, we can take a lesson that what parents expect from their children cannot always be achieved, even if the child is the most devoted to both parents. because the ability of each child is different, either skill or ability.

They finally introduced Kikka in this episode. Fortunately, she won't become a member of the harem, she's more like a character who will uncover one of the major plot-points of the story.

Anyway, 2 episodes to go. I guess this will have another cour several months later as they will be cutting close to another major story arc.

Ouka's twin... who the hell do YOU think you are? The slap was deserved. (The cold opening fakeout was good even if i noticed the different eye color, even if Hayato noticed something else). It's good that they made up, but that moment was anger inducing.

Great, Akane, you saved the day when Kikka (recognized Sumire Uesaka as VA only at the end) showed up to apologize.

Identical twins! Kikka has come to get Ouka back.
Even in an Ouka-centric episode, Akane plays a significant role.
Oh, no one will ever know the truth that Ouka's "fart" was just Ami playing Shark.
Thought it was strange MC didn't bring up that he went to Tokyo U.

EP 10

Looks like some interesting stuff gonna happen in ep 11. not sure about ep 12 or kiku though
Its kinda sad that i have ami like kinda just written off now.

And if i'll be really honest im not entirely sure how i feel if/when s2 airs
Like the whole reason why I watched this is because of the five girls and because s2, and even then I dunno. It just feels kinda soso.

Admittedly five girls is a bit much but what can I do
