This ED song Arisu cut and this more Arisu cut...  ...is how I'd like to describe how excited I am. I even watched it on low quality TV Tokyo live streaming without subtitle. Hopefully I could secure a copy of the BD later, if not sold out by nihonjin first. |

| This first episodes leave me with high expectations. The director clearly knows what they're doing as the shot composition in this episode is absolutely beautiful. The use of color is fantastic. The seiyuu bring out strong performances and I can tell the producer is brimming with personality and he may be my favorite character of the show by the end, I already love him so much. The fanservice for fans of the series is such a worthwhile addition too, like the ED using the Starlight Stage costumes. The plot was understandable from the expressions alone and the dynamics between the producer and the girls is excellently presented, especially with Arisu, and I barely know Japanese outside of a handful of words that I knew they were saying. It really feels like this was made with a lot of love and I expect great things, even if the story won't be anything too ambitious. |

| I love the look and feel of the show. Lots of cool shots and the quiet vibe kind of brings me back to the first episode of the 2011 Idolmaster, and the girls are all so cute. I feel so blessed to be watching a new Idolmaster anime in 2023 |

| The production-quality is INSANE. I watched it raw because I couldn't wait. Not just the visuals the sound-design is also very good. I can only praise the visuals for now. I will rewatch it when the sub gets released. OMG the ED looks also looks amazing. I enjoyed this episode a lot despite not understanding much of it without subs. I'm very excited to watch the rest of the show! |

| I really, really have no words for how good it was! I love Idolmaster animes and despite the bar was really high this first episode passed in flying colors! It doesn't have the level of vision of the OG Cinderella Girls anime nor 2011 Animas, but it goes for a more restrained opening about Arisu's hangups. The writing is so good, the subtext is so good, the presentation is so good... I'm completely in love. Best anime episode I've seen this year yet |
| Watched 15 Spring 2023 animes so far, this is my first 9! This is really beautiful! They focus on Arisu, and this eps 1 is really good at introducing what's the ideal she wished but not fulfilled yet. Having parents not really understanding your hardworks and achievements is painful as a child. They're treating it like she did her homeworks, like, how the hell did they even let their daughter sets off as an idol when they barely cares about it!? (that's the only mystery I had, how the hell the parents didn't care much) |
