I really enjoyed this episode was a good ending to the fight, although I have to say listening to Gokus screams was just horrible the English VA sure did a good job on that... @_@ Anyways I'm looking forward to seeing how this awesome series wraps up =) |

| Awesome ending IMO really great ending of his arc, I do wonder what they'll show next, will we see the wedding between Goku and ChiChi? Either way loving it so far :D And I wonder when Piccolo will return! |

| Great episode. I had no idea that Kami actually wanted Goku to be the Guardian of the Earth. He'd certainly be very good at it but I don't think it would suit him very well, he's too adventurous for it. |

| THAT WAS EPIC! Holy shit, that was an amazing fight! Just WOW! So, Goku can fly too, that is awesome! Haha, Yajirobe is back. And Goku is simply amazing! He even gave a Senzu bean to Piccolo. Wow, I can't wait for DBZ, I wonder what'll happen next. Lol, Kami-sama wanted Goku to be Kami. But Goku, haha, called Kinto-Un and made a quick escape with Chi-Chi. YES, Goku finally won the Tenkaichi Budokai! Now that the fight is over, I wonder what is going to happen next. The series is ending in a few more episodes so I'm curious to find out what else is going to happen. |

| Finally, Son Goku is World Champion! Unable to move most parts of his body, Son Goku finished Piccolo with a headbutt. Son Goku gives Piccolo a second chance and he rejects the offer to be the new god. Son Goku flies with Chi-Chi on Kintoun (or Jindujun) away. All's well that ends well. |
| A fitting conclusion. Muten Roshi's little speech about how a single dragon ball brought everyone together was even kind of powerful. This wasn't exactly how I imagined things ending for Piccolo. But you also kind of knew Goku wouldn't let him just be killed. Also I thought the whole he can still fly thing was pretty clever. As well as something I considered. Excited to see Goku and ChiChi's wedding which may or may not take up the whole last five episodes. |

| Technically: his reincarnation / clone / son. (in a way, it's logical: the Devil can't disappear from the world) edit @Yiuumii Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes, the "second" Piccolo is still alive and training to avenge his shameful defeat years later (after the post-tournament ellipse). But no, it won't be made repetitive like you think. ;) Sadly, you'll have a bunch of "filler" episodes before it goes back to the manga and time skip. |

Goku let him free, so in Dragon Ball Z its him again? (At least I woukd guess so since he said he would come back) I hope not, it would be repetitive imo. Or I hope there will be at least 1 or 2 other bad guys in between before he trys his luck again. @Rei366: Thanks so much for the answer, now I am more curious what will happen *smile* I can handle fillers, I survived the One Piece Fillers, I can survive that xD Well thank you again! :D |

| Well, this fight had a lot of memorable moments, but a lot of silliness too. I'll start with what I liked, despite not liking the giant transformation I loved how Goku flew into his mouth to save Kami. I loved when Goku flew the homing shot right into Piccolo's face, smiled, and then dodged. I loved how Piccolo grew another arm. I loved how Goku refused Kami's help, it really showed us more than ever that Goku hasn't changed since he was a kid. He may be stronger, smarter, but he is still the same old Goku. As Roshi noted, he is not a morally driven person, the fate the world isn't his main concern, what Goku cares about is what is his. Friends, fighting, food, how people treat him. Umbrella concepts that he can't grasp he does not care about. And he never has. I loved Lunch forcing Kami into the hole. And I loved how this episode ended, it was a very strong ending to the arc. What I didn't like was the inclusion of Ki and what it's brought. Earlier in the fight we had some great moments like Goku and Piccolo's mma style grapple, and the powerful back and forth slugfest, but as it went on Goku handed Piccolo's ass to him in magic beam battles. The fight going from strategy, and reaction, and strength changed to who has the better magic attacks. Which isn't inherently bad, the stronger dude won, no matter how it happens it's not like it was bad writing. But Ki was just zapped into the story, and now everyone has crazy magic moves that end up being about raw power rather than anything else, a bit of a hyperbole I admit, but it's a lot more like this than ever before. I don't like how Piccolo charged up for 6 and a half minutes and no one stopped him. I don't like that hiding in a hole saved everyone's lives. I don't like how Piccolo decided to fly into the sky, into clouds to do his finishing move, when he could've just lasered Goku right in between the eyes. It was clearly to give Goku a chance to win. I don't like senzu beans, they're overpowered as hell and the universe pretends they aren't. No one ever abuses them, or even thinks to. Imagine during a fight having an opponent eat a senzu bean every time they get hit. Beans that heal holes through your body and broken limbs in a second are a bit too much. And overall the fight went on too long, introducing more weird techniques and attacks to extend the fight. This is all preference, but I prefer close knit fights that are about adapting to the opponent in which we see everything tightly woven. This was one attack after another for a handful of episodes. This style done wrong leads to fights feeling drawn out. However, as I said this was a really good ending to the arc. As I've said before, even when arcs get a little sloppy they always end incredibly strong. I hope we see the wedding in the filler ending, unlike some of you I haven't been a fan of the previous filler so I'm hoping these are meaningful. |

| To be honest I feel like this fight is where Z's bad habits regarding drawn-out fights started, and there were a lot of dumb moments... but honestly I'm pretty impressed beyond the sum of its parts. This would've been a pretty cool way to finish the story. I kind of like it ending on this twist that Goku was always fighting for his own entertainment and not the altruistic intent he always seemed to have had, which honestly was somewhat thought-provoking. And his sparing of Piccolo seemed like the ultimate statement on his nature, somehow pure and kind despite ultimately being rather self-absorbed and short-sighted. |
| I agree with most of you here! This would have been the perfect ending for Dragon Ball anime series. Goku taking Chichi with him in his Nimbus, saying goodbye to his friends as they flew away. Oh well! I don't mind 5 more episodes though! 🥰 |

| Looks like this is the end of DB in regards to being canon, had a really good time watching this, kinda wish I had this throughout my childhood, but oh well. Just gotta fly through the filler and then it's onto DBZ. |

5 Eps to go I knew he will dodge the attack when Junior will try to eliminate him. Goku is full of surprises. That head hit surely almost killed Junior. But also Goku just wanted to knock him out. Just he wanted to win this. Finally Goku wins. And this is the ultimate match which could ever happen in this tournament. However as always food healed Goku more specifically senso beans. That makes Goku almost immortal. Carry the senso beans and eat when injured and ZZZAP you're healed. And who shocked me really is Yajirobe. Man! That guy was there for the whole time!!! However this time at least he was there, haha!!! I am shocked to see Junior. He doesn't seems that bad. It was like he just wanted to defeat Goku and then become the ruler of the earth and then he doesn't knows what to do. He looks confused more than evil. However he is also safe and it is time who will say if Junior even have the will to rule the earth or he was just created to defeat Goku. But it was a nice ending. Good thing Goku wanted to live like this. He deserves to live freely on earth with his friends. |

| I'm watching it in English, and the voice performance is fucking wonderful. Goku's scream of agony not only matches him perfectly, but you actually feel the agony. 10/10 episode. See ya, Dragon Ball. |

| That was a pretty good ending :) I didn't think Kami would offer Goku his job, but i'm glad he didn't take it, couse i just can't imagine that warrior as a peace god XD. Also i just love how he takes Chi Chi on his nimbus, and they pretty much run of together. This was an amazin arc, and a great way to end the series (canonically) |

| A pretty good ending to the series (I understand the last remaining episodes are filler which I'll watch anyways). I didn't realize that Goku had learned to fly since I was wondering how he was able to avoid Piccolo's final attack, but then I remembered that Krillin also briefly flew to avoid landing outside the ring when he fought too. So from the 3 tournaments held in this series Goku was the runner up in the first two and won in the third one. I hope they show a wedding in one of the filler episodes. |
