 The 2nd Anniversary event of the Blue Archive mobile game announced a television anime adaptation on Sunday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured).Blue Archive is a mobile tactical role-playing game developed by Nexon Games and was released in Japan on Android and iOS in February 2021. A global version was released in November of the same year. Synopsis The city's academies are divided into their own districts and are considered mostly independent. The General Student Council acts as governing board to manage the academies as a whole. However, the group's ability to govern has come to halt since the mysterious disappearance of the General Student Council president. Countless issues have begun to surface throughout Kivotos in the absence of the president's leadership. To avoid disaster, the General Student Council requests assistance from the Federal Investigation Club, otherwise known as Schale. In fact, Schale is the city's newest club and the last to be approved before the president's disappearance. To accomplish its task, Schale relies on the guidance of a Sensei who can help them resolve the incidents around Kivotos. (Students are required to carry personal weapons and smart phones! | I doubt we will get to see any meaningful content adapted, like the Eden Treaty arc, but at least this is a start. For now I will rejoice with the awesome 2nd anniversary PV and Mika's release. |

| Oh wow I've been playing it pretty much since launch so this is great news. They've already made several 10 minute animated shorts so this isn't completely unexpected but still very nice to get the announcement. Will be interesting to see whether they adapt the game's story or do an original one. Also how they'll handle meeting students and potential bonding events. |

| As a superfan of the game, watched the livestream that announced this yesterday so I already knew but it's always nice to see MAL confirms it. Anime announcement and long-awaited Mika banner, BA fans were eating good last night. Now the question is what content are they gonna adapt? A faithful adaptation of Eden Treaty Arc would make it a masterpiece.
