First of all, I don't think that many people enjoy the artsyle and animation of this thing. Second, they are basically ruining some mediocre stories just with their animation, and on top of that they are getting 0 attention for that ( not like ex-arm for example). Also, that Netflix tag just screams how good the quality is!

"Netflix tag" means nothing - there's plenty of good and bad original productions on Netflix and on each major streaming platform in general.

But yeah, I also have questions, such as:

1) Why does it have to be so ugly?
2) Why is there like a half of Section 9's voice actors?
3) Aliens-inspired giant glowing tardigrades??? (I mean, points for originality, but... just... why?)

I'm glad their starting with meh stories.

who knows, maybe a few anime's down the line they can actually do good.

Oh blimey, the character design is awful, the characters wooden or irritating and the idea? been done before, many times. Having watched the first episode I doubt if I will get to number 3. Not promising at all.

The animation style really is horrible. I actually came here to check if it was the same people who did Ex-Arm! Netflix really need to learn some quality control rather than green lighting everything.

More cgi studios need to learn from studio orange, which is basically the gold standard for cgi. Land of the lustrous and beastars look better than a lot of 2D anime. (Haven’t seen their trigun yet. But looks great)

I’m sure this studio will get better.

I liked it! I thought it was great. Sometimes I watch anime that people say is great and yeah it’s good but I’m left disappointed by the high expectations that I have for it. This series people were saying is straight garbage and I gave it a shot. Blew my expectations away. I haven’t watched many survival horror genres outside of like dead space and resident evil video games. This one was great. I liked Walter. He was a great character. As for the art style and animation, it really didn’t need to be all that great. It’s not a battle shonen and it’s not super Japanese. I don’t often see a lot of black main characters. I gave it a 9. No way I’m giving it a 10 with that art style and animation, but it’s a genre I’m not familiar with and it was exciting.

I also thought it was excellent,!!!

..but yh I can see how its not for everyone.

There's always a risk you take when producing a series, especially one that is more atypical in style and format.
