Good episode and damn, it feels neat knowing how much a difference he can make when he is prepared for a future attack from the those knockers.

One thing is for sure though, I believe his allies can come in handy even if the future is not always certain.

This arc is definitely more interesting than the first one imo. It's cool to see Fushi getting stronger and preparing for the upcoming battles.

Onwards to the town of Renril, Fushi and the others have descended into this massive town, and they are in preparation while registering what needs to be done to protect the town. Bon, back in Uralis, anticipates the support of the Uralis army, which sees its full support. But one person, Kai Renald Rawle, questions Bon of his intentions to weed out the disloyal, which the former is thankful that it was a test on purpose to truly give loyalty to where it mattered the most. And sure enough, Bon DID find those ordinary people to be Fushi's vessels: Kai, former Bennett guard Hario Rich, and Messar.

The meeting with Renril's princess to get all info, it's a tat-for-tat exchange that they don't have the luxury for when the Knockers attack. But in the haste of all this, distrust bears between Fushi and Bon, and Fushi wants to act quick. Instead, Kai stopping Fushi for a game and telling him of his backstory where the Knockers destroyed his entire village, then his entire family due to old age, enough to run to Uralis.

The dust cloud that sets into Renril, Eko senses it, and Kai drives it with Fushi bearing the trust of its citizens, starting with the water wheel house.
The miracle within Renril is happening.

New companion introduced, ofc its all the familiar face from the opening. But Fushi not like the idea and had a fight with Bon. Fushi needs to gain the trust, from Renril people, Renril ruler. But why Bon can not telling the truth? Well, only time can tell until its arrive to their end, Fushi. So yeah, time to do some interaction again to know more about your next vessels, shall you?

Okay, I extremely like the start of this arc.. Fushi finally getting mad at other people? and understanding that while he is saving everyone.. Not everyone is a good person..

Fushi the Builder.. I love the tone Bon was using.. dude really feels like Erwin.. using the best of the best for Fushi to consume.. now I am finally liking Bon..

I still don't really get it? so I guess it's a game you have to play to get the rules.

Loyalty and trust seem to be the themes for this arc, and some new characters were introduced, with Kai Renald Rawle, who knew Bon's true identity, Hario Rich, and Messar. Some weird moral lessons here with the board game, called Mills apparently.

The water wheel house is the first step for Fushi to gain the citizens' trust. Bit baffled with some of the direction here, but we'll see where it goes.

I figured it was the old king they tried to stick him into, I dont remember any other character in the show he tried to take over. Anyway, I just roll with it ;)

I love how fushi is gradually becoming a more nuanced character and well.. more human. Seeing him get angry, distrustful, frustrated and even acting rash is really cool. Looking forward to the rest of the building arc

It's Boozeman if I recall.
Fushi can't change the forms he acquired since that's not how he remembers them. If he could then he would've transformed into the bear without the arrows sticking out its body that caused it constant pain. Same goes for Machi's arrow imbedded in her torso.

That's what I thought too... but the boozeman didn't have the rope on his wrist like Fushi does, if I remember correctly. You can see the rope/string on his wrist in the final scene before the ed starts playing - either we'll get to know more about this later on or that is an animation error...

That old guy is Boozeman. And that's his house from  Takunaha that Fushi built. Fushi possesses many forms and uses them as he sees fit.

After an already incredibly poor first half, I really hope they don't continue to butcher the manga and that they do the Renril arc justice. This first episode of the arc does not make me feel any less worried though.

Fushi don't need to deny them because they volunteered...even Bon does not want this, but its better if they have more capable team at least!

This is such an interesting episode! Bon will keep the secret from Fushi until the last minute. And even though Fushi still don't know his full power (of resurrection), what he knows can already change the entire town, no, the entire world.

I think it's impossible to get this show back on track but I will observe positively till the end.

Fushi turned into a little bitch, Kahaku is a creep and Bon lost his spirit.
At this point I don't like anyone from the starting cast anymore.

Glad that they introduced new characters here, but how did Bon manage to find immortal ones within a few days?

Best part was the rebuild of the town though.

It sometimes feels like fushi is unreasonable. But then again he is immortal and wouldn't understand what it means to sacrifice our one and only life. Not just for us but for the future.
