They really gave some epic music for this season finale, fitting for this show.

But seriously, this one took on the momentum of the hype train for this arc and gave us an intense episode. Reigen is the hero this arc deserved and honestly, he really stood out with his words in this. A bit of an predictable ending though. There was no way they would've let this episode end in a dark end.

8/10, enjoyed it just as much as the previous seasons.

Damn... actually gonna miss this franchise. It was too much fun watching Mob all these years. Reigen tried his best to stop Mob but was failing again and again. Also, suffered heavy injuries. But, he was able to help Mob, thanks to Ekubo. I was happy to see Mob back. And, then Reigen's confession was a little sad.

No matter what, the rejection always hurts. It never gets easy. I felt sorry for Kageyama there. Also, I'm happy to see that Kageyama is changing as well which is such a nice thing. Seeing all of the characters in this episode was such a nice touch to this finale. The second season is still my favorite.

Happy Birthday, Reigen. You're a great teacher. We love you. Gonna miss this amazing show. Goodbye.

Serizawa and Reigen is coming to the rescue! They used an umbrella to protect themselves from an eye of a tornado resulting from such a forceful shock that has put on Mob in a rampage with such violent power manifested. There is a flesh of Mob and Tsubomi’s childhood memories showing how genuine she is.

Reigen trying to have a private talk with Mob but this evil form of his started neglecting those (It was good to have the 1st OP got inserted when Reigen was running lol) but Reigen isn’t stopping there! That moment Dimple appeared, man I missed him since the 1st half of this season lol but continue with episode along, Reigen admitted something that Mob wasn’t aware of: He doesn’t know stuff about Psychic Power, really gave me a sad recall of his own past which then leads to Mob’s own self-identity, discovering who he is and accepting who he is now.

Ah, I’m a bit sad but not disappointed either that he got rejected by his own childhood friend, the effort is more or less unequal but hey at least he can find a better woman in his adulthood.

This episode is also the last time we’re seeing the Body Improvement Club, last episode (or maybe very previously) and now showed how much Mob has build up to stay fit; from someone who doesn’t have any stamina right in the beginning always shows room of improvements at the end of the day. Mob and his friends gathered around to make a surprise for Reigen, Happy Birthday, he has been one of my favorite characters in this series so he deserves that celebration.

Overall this season may not be as memorable as the prior seasons however this season remains to be a conclusion to what has been a wonderful 6-year-journey with Mob Psycho from S1 to S3, may be the last time we’re seeing Reigen, Mob and the rest of the cast. Thank you so much for the staff and VAs who are able to contribute in a full adaptation for one of ONE’s manga. I’m really looking forward to OVAs/Movies in any kind and also another of ONE’s notable manga, One Punch Man, apparently rumored to get a Season 3 being handled by MAPPA xD well let’s just see the official announcement later on.

AOTS for me.

Reigen may be a certified con man, he may have tricked everyone including Mob into thinking he holds some astonishing powers but that doesn't make him a bad person, and neither his intentions of helping out Mob to make him come out of his shell. Indeed that's what transpired this time around, stopping that rampaging inner anti self of Mob.

Then what followed was a heartfelt confession about that truth, with Reigen admitting his lies. It was always coming someday, the thing is it just came a lot sooner than what Reigen would've anticipated. I'm sure Mob too had an idea about that since forever. But here's one thing, I don't like when they do a one-eighty over someone's death, Ekubo shouldn’t have made a return. Couldn't care less about power of belief or anything, though anyways…

"Accept the way you are'', was the theme all along and they did conclude things on that note. These people changed and accepted their shortcomings. Look at Mob, he got rejected but still didn't stop looking forward.

Been a fine few years with this series, will miss it for sure.

Even though I kinda knew how it would end, the execution and overall set-up of the third season was just great. Reigen is definitly the man you need in your life and he perfectly showed us that you can rely on him. Well, he did get rejected, but he'll move forward. I'll never forget Reigen's confession which is something that he had to tell him someday... He is still the best teacher you can ever get. Also, the Body Improvement Club, won't see them again, but they had a massive impact on Mob's life. What a third season, it was a bit different compared to the rest. It was still very enjoyable from start to finish. And the best opening song from the anime.

Fantastic finale! In the end, it took Reigen-san to be honest plus giving him encouragement to be the way he wants to be in order to allow the two sides of Mob to reconcile with each other. Of course, that's not to discredit the efforts of Ritsu, Hanazawa, Suzuki-san, and the members of the school fitness club though. A fitting closure to the story, imo. It's just sad that despite all that, Tsubomi-chan rejected him but at least they're still in contact with each other.

Dimple appearing out of nowhere surprised me a little, I thought for sure he was gone. Might need the subtitles to fully comprehend what happened there. Nevertheless, it's nice to see that he was able to help Reigen-san get the main points across and assist Mob to get over his internal conflict. Final segment dedicated to the "birthday surprise" was very heartwarming and it just reminded me that I really will miss this series now. I watched it on a whim back in 2017 and it left quite an impression on me, so to see this come to an end 5 years later is very gratifying.

Personally, Season 1 is still the best for me, it was thrilling to watch Mob in his 100% state at first, and that excitement sort of vanished from the series for me. Even then, however, it was traded with some wonderful character development arcs and progressions, so I'm overall very satisfied with the series.

9/10 to this wonderful final season! Going to miss Mob Choir's theme songs but I suppose there's at least sajou no hana that will continue so cheers to that.

The best ending any shounen can recieve.

The animation was on point, reigen's determination, return of ekubo and finally the best thing was mob finally showing emotions. Ngl the best.

Most wholesome episode of the series but damn I'll miss it.

Reigen's reveal was so shocking Mob went back to normal. Tsubomi waited for Mob but he got rejected, watching him cry made me sad but well this is just the begining for them. Maybe someday they'll get together. The end part with Reigen's birthday celebration was nice.

And that's it folks, the end of Mob Psycho. It's been a pleasant journey over the past few years watching Mob grow so much and as all good things must come to an end this also ended. Gonna miss this series.

Mob psychos last ep was seriously as good as it could have gotten, everything about this was just peak

everything from the beginning, to the part when the first opening of the show (which is a progression from 1 to 99%) started as reigen started to make his way to mob, and even how as the opening said 99 it showed reigen fail to reach mob as it didn't go to 100.
And the end when reigen revealed his farce to mob, and when mob finally accepted his "mob" As himself(shigeo kageyama) and instead of saying mob 100% the screen said shigeo kageyama 100%
Also it was so fucking wholesome at the end seeing mob laughing with all his heart, first time in the series he's genuinely showing emotions
Also can we just talk about how good of a person reigen is, and how hot he is, man was literally against a God as a human yet he still kept moving forward all for the sake of his friend

Dimple is still alive, Reigen finally said the truth to Mob, and the best part.

Mob is expressing what he's feeling now. That's the best part, finally getting to show your expressions without keeping it all in.

It's so good to see such an expressive Mob.

10/10.

and I still wonder what the 20k frames ep was.

Amazing conclusion. Reigen desperately trying to talk to Mob and the confession made me very emotional. Best character in the show by far imo. It is really sad to see this show end because it has a really special place in my heart, but I'm so happy of the journey along the way.

This season was pretty good in my eyes. Not as good as season 2 but it works really well as a end to everything that's been built up.

Mob finally done self-acceptance of his alter ego or inner demons while also telling his alter ego that he should accept Mob too

Dimple is alive

Reigen confess to Mob that he is just lying and using him

Tsubomi rejected Mob but she and Mob are actually getting to know each other more through phone calls later on

really great anime and manga one of my favorites for sure

Masterpiece of an ending,

That sequence of Reigen running to Mob is animated beautifully, and the 1st opening playing is also a nice touch.

Still sad that Mob got rejected by Tsubomi but it's the self acceptance that matter in the end.

And all the characters celebrating Reigen's birthday is a nice callback and development to the Reigen arc where noone remember

Still can't get over the fact that this is the final season of Mob Psycho 100. I really loved how the artstyle was so unique and animation frames so smooth and clean. Every epsiode was blended with Slice of Life, action and comedy that made it so unpredictable, funny and entertaining all the way, and I loved every second of it. We will Miss you Mob, Ritsu, Reigen, Teru and good old Dimple too. A timeless masterpiece 10/10. Thank you ONE-sensei. Now to sit in the corner and cry my eyes out 😭

Mob Psycho was such a great trip, my favourite "modern" battle shounen if we can say so, even though I didn't like its ending, there was no reason to bring Ekubo back, but I'll always have it as one of my favourite shows.

Really good way to finish off this great series.

Overall, this season had the wonkiest pacing out of the three. But I'm glad it brought resolution to side characters and more development for our main characters. My favorite arc has to be the psycho helmet/dimple arc. One of the highs of the entire show period. Overall this season is an 8/10 for me.

If I were to rate all the seasons it would go 2>1>3

i've been a fan of this show since s1 was airing in 2016 so seeing it end for good does feel bittersweet and even a bit nostalgic. i don't think any other show will make me feel the same way.

on another note, i pretty much expected there to be a variety wildly vocal opinions on the ending so i am just going to address the main complaints i can already guess.

- dimple coming back
i understand this complaint to an extent and on some level i can see why it exists. i didn't know how to feel about this when i first read it but i've had like 5 years to process and accept this so it probably isn't the same case. i get not liking dimple returning since the grief factor was so real and his sacrifice held so much weight, but at worst it's just underwhelming. it's not like it's a retcon or something that retroactively ruins the narrative, seeing as dimple has escaped permanent death before. his sacrifice isn't any less valuable because dimple still chose to sacrifice his life-long goal for mob regardless of any unforeseen outcomes. keeping him dead wouldn't really do anything for mob's or his own development either because that decision to prioritize mob is still intact. regardless, i think it's fair to still feel underwhelmed by this and this is the only complaint i can get from what i've seen so far.

- tsubomi rejecting mob
this has been something that's been complained to death since the manga ended along with senseless tsubomi hate but now that it's finally animated i knew it'd be 10x worse. i genuinely do not know how people expected the series to end with mob "getting the girl" when all signs throughout the series have hinted otherwise. tsubomi isn't there as a prize to be won for the protagonist regardless of his efforts. she's an independent character that doesn't serve to be some end goal fueled by entitlement because people have their own desires in life. tsubomi kindly rejecting mob is the only logical conclusion because they barely even talked, why would she reciprocate mob's feelings out of nowhere? this is just a very odd thing to take issue with and misses the point of the series very badly.

- "reigen talking mob out of his ???% state"
a recurring theme from mob psycho has been how people need other people so i don't get how people are upset the central conflict is, [once again, solved via honest communication than fighting it out. if anything, it was mob's acceptance of his other half that led to the two merging. it's especially noteworthy that this is the first time reigen was fully emotionally vulnerable to mob rather than the other way around, regardless if mob knew the truth or not the action itself speaks volumes. in doing so, reigen tears down ???%'s walls and thus decides to coexist with mob, proving that the bonds mob has made are genuine an essential to his growth.

this will probably get drowned out or ignored but i just felt like sharing my take on the ending as a long-time viewer who believes this is the most fitting ending possible.

But there technically are, well they did not show it the whole theme of the show is accepting your self and moving forward and with the message of the story and themes they did not need to show the consequences as we know mob after being rejected would still push through. Also the rampage well did happen in the show is more a metaphor with growing up so show him being punished well I get why you would want that, it is still implied it happens and even if it doesn't for this type of story it would not make a difference. It's your opinion after all and I can see your points and all so I get it

Oh from what I remember and the moment your talking about is my favorite moment in mob, it's more that mob accepts and knows reigen is a good person even though others are saying other wise. He might have known a bit but it was just from what others about reigen said as mob trusts reigen so he would take his word. That's why for this reigen telling mob set him free as, mob always felt he needed other to tell him what to do but seeing reigen tell him he was lie tell mob she the truth in everything as he knows that well he had no powers reigen just like him had to side of him self and due to reigen embracing it and still being a good person, mob can do the same

It's so weird to see the actual ending to an on-going anime that I've been following. On one hand, there are things to nitpick and critique with this season. The pacing was overall a little too slow for my liking, with this season basically serving as one long epilogue to S2's finale. The finale itself had some questionable stuff, mainly Dimple returning out of nowhere and there being no evident consequences for Mob destroying the city. It also just dawned on me that Mob's parents played zero role in the final arc, which is very odd since it was so Mob centric. So overall, this is probably my least favorite season if I'm being honest, still viewing S2 as the peak with a perfect blend of humor, comedy and action.

With all that being said, I still respect the hell out of ONE for being able to weave together satisfying pay-offs for damn near everything in this story. Mob's insecurities and crush on Tsubomi, Reigen's manipulation of and relationship with Mob, Dimple's plan to become a god, Ritsu's jealousy of his brother's powers, the Telepathy Club's desire to meet aliens, the Claw president's relationship with his family, etc. I love these character so much and the emotional moments never fail to feel real, and so seeing all this closure was satisfying. Favorite moment in the finale had to be either them bringing back the first OP for Reigen's dash towards Mob (any anime that does this gets brownie points) or Reigen's happy birthday surprise at the end. It was a heartwarming callback to S2 where no one reached out to him for his birthday. And of course seeing Mob surrounded by loved ones and laughing with pure joy, our boy finally accepted himself and is going to be alright.

Overall, objectively this show has problems, with the overall pacing/structure of each season always feeling off to me. But subjectively? It's a beautiful, hilarious and action packed ride full of moments that are 100% genuine. Thank you Bones for bringing this niche and wacky series to life with such passion and hard work, it shows and probably resulted in your magnum opus.
