The OG Trigun was great but like many anime adaptations in the 90s and early 2000s, it was only a partial adaptation of the manga with a completely different anime-only ending which didn't leave much room for a continuation. It was FMA before FMA:B.

So instead of making a new adaptation that covers the whole manga like FMA: Brotherhood, Fruits Basket, Shaman King, etc. they decided to make a prequel that no one asked for while removing all the fan favourite characters?

Not a prequel tho. It's more of a reimagining.
It's Morbin' Time!

It's an original anime remake. Not a prequel

It’s the remake that I’ve been asking for and I’m beyond hype for vash in 2023

Unfortunately it is not a prequel like everyone had predicted quite some time ago, instead it is a reimagining of the primary series with the adaptation of the source material that wasn't yet available for the OG Trigun show. However; based off the abysmal story design, 3D design, and color palette I have little to no hope that this will come even close to the glory which the original show still holds to this day. It's a sad side to see, witnessing Vash go from a mighty "Humanoid Typhoon" to a washed up lesbian you find in your local dive bar.

we've had no Trigun for nearly a quarter of a century and I trust orange, this won't be another berserk 2016 but i hardly doubt it will be a masterpiece so you should just go into it without hoping its this perfect adaptation and just enjoy more Trigun

I’m also disappointed it won’t adapt the full manga however! If this gets a lot of support they may see a reason to do that!
I wish companies would realise that 90% of people just want the source material adapted!

Trigun Stampede all over the author's legacy, Ready, Steady, Roll? No, Ready, Steady Troll. Trololo lo lo lo lolo lo lo lol lo. Studio Orange is more of a traitor than Jeremiah Gottwald from Code Geass. They Replaced Milly with Robert De "Fucking" Niro, those maniacs.

I guess Trigun is just unlucky. Oh well, here's to hoping the next anime's reboot, remake, readaptation, reimagining, or whatever is more to your liking. Next in line is "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan (2023)", I think. Let's all silently pray, that everything goes well with it.
