| Besides some of the amusing drama, this Christmas season holiday seemed like the perfect time for Uzaki and Sakurai to get together. It's one of those episodes that practically matches the two together and I'm in for it. Sakurai really needs to relax and enjoy life like some the other cast members. |

| The fated meeting between father and future son in law. Even tho Uzaki's dad seems to like Sakurai he still has trouble accepting him dating his daughter which was funny to watch. Dinner was pretty awkward. Kiri complaining about his lack of a girlfriend was expected but it seems one of the guys is interested in him which was funny. |

Sakurai sr and Fujio may be hard asses but they got good intentions and just want things to go well for their kids. I like how this season has expanded on the cast! |

| "Kiri is the cutest" lmao we went from potentially on a watch list for having a 14 year old over to ha gay. Dafuq Fujio had the best reactions, tho and Tsuki elicited the unfiltered truth from a drunk Sakurai. Way to level up on Christmas. |

| Yelp, Uzaki getting banished from Sakurai's house, this is the final straw for Ami and Sakaki who are hoping for their romance, THAT STILL TO THIS DAY, has not materialized. The desperation is there, and even Uzaki's younger sis Yanagi is also impatient for any progress, but still is fun to watch and self-inserts herself to push their actions down. The 14-year-old sister IS nasty, but for all the right reasons. And Uzaki's response...was one of admonishment against his whims of prohibiting her to enter his place, but because of Fujio, has to be done at his place instead. And so it is, the fated day that Sakurai will be meeting the entire Uzaki family (minus the lil' bro Kiri), and it was certainly NO coincidence lols. The standoff between Sakurai and Fujio...man, is it intense, and foreboding on all levels, given all of Uzaki's secrets already revealed to him separately during gym time. Also, flirting in front of the parents, yelp...that's a huge no-no, and even more so for Uzaki to have fun without spilling her secrets...which to be honest, is hard to do. And though getting drunk is one way of forgetting whatever has been said, he's really drunk to the point that it follows according to Fujio's plan, but what they did not expect is Sakurai pouring his heart out to them self-consciously. Oh well, the romance hits hard when unexpected, that's for sure! Looking forward to the resolution of the fiasco. |

| Thought the funniest part of the episode was when Sakurai was talking about his parents getting all Handsey with each other and it cut to Tsuki and Fujio quickly turning away from each other like they aint doing it them damn selves lol. Meh just get to the finale. |

| Once again, the Uzaki family (excluding Hana) is the biggest highlight of this show, Fujio and Yanagi are great additions to this otherwise meh season. At least, the romance is getting somewhere... |

| Not how I imagined Sakurai and Fujio will meet. That whole party was super awkward, even more so after he got drunk. The best part about this episode were Kiri's friends. All they needed was one scene. |
| I never laughed so hard after watching Uzaki-chan until I watched this episode. The fist time meeting between Fujio and Sakurai was met with a lot of fireworks involved creating a super awkward moment in the Uzaki household. To make matters worse Fujio was trying to save face for blabbing about her oldest daughter's relationship while he was at work. Fujio's plan to get Sakurai drunk also backfires when Sakurai confesses to Hana while he's drunk and Fujio couldn't help but admit that Sakurai loves his daughter Hana. |

| It’s time for Christmas with the Uzakis, and we finally got the long time coming meeting of Fujio and Sakurai after they find out each other’s relations to Uzaki, and it was as great as I expected lol. Fujio was stone faced at first but after he realized Sakurai has dirt on him he quickly warmed up to him, and it was hilarious how Sakurai immediately tried to leave once he remembered their conversation at the gym lol. And after Sakurai couldn’t keep it off his mind, he decides to do the one thing that could help him forget, hammer down some alcohol lol. Sounds like a good idea at first but with how Sakurai becomes an open book when he’s drunk it quickly gets dire for Fujio, his reactions to Uzaki getting flirty with Sakurai was great lol, and after Sakurai’s little speech even Fujio came to notice that they love each other, a great way to end the episode. I also enjoyed Yanagi’s Jojo reference and the bit with Kiri and his friends, the one that was interested in Kiri himself got a laugh out of me lol. I definitely feel this is one of the funniest episodes of this season. And the finale of Season 2 couldn’t be more well timed, the fantastic conclusion to this Christmas arc on Christmas Eve, I’m sad to see Uzaki leave us once again but I’m really excited to see how this season ends, and I can only hope we get a 3rd season! |
| This episode was amazing, Hana had a ton of lovely smiles, Kiri friends were pretty funny, the dummies forgot what songs not to play (they should learn a thing or two from Gotou Hitori) and lol at each one of them aiming for someone different from the Uzaki family, even Kiri, the fated meeting finally happened but even Fujio with all his will as a father to protect his daughter can't deny Sakurai affection for Hana, it is incredible how better this show got on season 2. And please Yanagi ,don't ever lose that Kansai dialect! |

| Kiri's friend didn't even hesitate to ask for the mom lol. Nice episode though I wasn't expecting Fujio to get that mad at Sakurai. His reactions were still quite funny tho. |

| Just lost respect for Fujio here. Even though it was amusing to watch him being mad at Sakurai, it makes no sense to me. I get that he's overly doting on his daughters but he must know from talking with him at the gym in episode 6 that he's a good guy. Though it would've been hillarious if he was mad all along because Sakurai never made a move on Hana. Since he said in ep 6 that if he wasn't sure if he should praise him or not for not laying hands on her yet. Let's just hope he will accept him in the next episode |

| I thought that Fujio would've been more receptive towards Sakurai when they first met but at least he warmed up a bit when he realized that he needed Sakurai to keep his mouth shut about him talking about his daughter at work. I doubt that Sakurai will remember what he said during the party the next day but I'm still hoping for a good ending (like a proper confession) or an announcement of a 3rd season. |
| Yanagi "stirring the pot" to get something to happen, Kiri sulking in karaoke during xmas, Fujio going from battle mode to "please don't tell my daughter I talked about her love life in the gym" mode, all funny as heck. Then Sakurai talking openly about why he acts so reserved at times, and saying sweet things about Hana, that was cute for sure. Working towards a great finale, I think/hope |

And good to see at least some kind of payoff. | Yanagi seemingly being the natural born hunter against Hana, literally top of the food chain for schemes and teasing, goes out of her way to force Hana's hand into inviting Sakurai over. Sasuga Yanagi, honestly if the season ended with Sakurai and Uzaki not spending a Christmas dinner together, i'd argue we've somehow taken steps backwards this season instead of forwards. Ngl i think the build up for Fujio and Sakurai to finally meet was the most captivating plot point this season. The build up was tense as shit from a viewers perspective and was something new and fresh as well. Rlly thought that Fujio and Sakurai's bonding at the gym would lighten the blow for the inevitable meet, but i guess Fujio has a fine line between business relations and personal relations. The ending has me screaming for Fujio to help Sakurai out. Ain't no way Sakurai went out of his way to get as smashed as possible so he could leave early as per the agreement, and all Fujio did was stand there and let Sakurai drunk embarrass himself bruhhhh. |

| I hated the episode, because it didn't give me what I wanted. BUT at least it made me sigh and agree silently to watch the last episode. Fine. I'll watch it. But THIS TIME I SWEAR: if they don't CONFESS no ifs ands or buts- no halfway, no teasers, FULL CONCESSION.... then I'm leaving this for good and never looking back. |
