| The meow girl Kokoro "Shii" Kouki joins the DIY club as an outside member, being someone who come from a very traditional background, something like out of the Indian monarchy. Next step, the treehouse, and Kokoro invites herself uninvited through the roof since the club surrounds the club, and she is like Jobko being capable of modern tech, like, how does one disable her school's security systems just to jump her way into the club. Unfortunately, not everyone takes it literally, and Rei takes it personally...challenging Shii with an arm wrestle. The club's advisor Haruko-sensei and Shii go way back, being part of the filthy rich of merchants. This greatly concerns Miku, and someone's being an obvious tsundere. But no matter, the secret hideout's plans are drawn, and the materials allocated in terms of availability and cost (which can be easily covered by Jobko or Shii, but Rei insists that it's through the club's own expenses). Shii's got a knack for DIY, and the rest follows with a wall-mount hook board for a start. Serufu's pet pig can finally rest a day without hearing anything pork-related, and for once, Serufu clocks a safety attendance without getting hurt. Kokoro may be living far from her home, but aside from her home in Japan, the DIY club is her 3rd home: finding a place where she belongs. Welcome to the DIY Club, Shii, meow! |

| Meow girl joined the gang. =^_^= Kokoro is adorable. She has an interesting background. Miku is a real a tsundere, hehe. No injuries for Serufu this time. Her plan for the tree house looks interesting, haha. That's a nice looking hook board. Good job, girls! |

| Shii is really fitting in with the group. She seems to be stronger than Rei and had a great idea to save money on the tree house project as well. Too bad she can't be an official member so they don't have to worry about the club being shutdown. Surely after they get the tree house done, that will give them some merit so they can stay open. Now if only if they can get Purin on board. On another note, thank goodness they weren't eating pork. Meat can sleep peacefully. |

| Well pallets are a good option tho you should know that Euro pallets are worth money so companies want give that and there is also a US counter part to them. Another thing with pallets is that sometimes they are really strong while other are really weak and break like it's nothing. The new character is another girl with a over the top background, she does seem like a good addition tho. |
| It's a small world: a serendipitous reunion between family friends. Nurse Haruko and Kokoro know each other from the past, but Haruko did not know Kokoro was in school next door at YuuVoc. Too bad Haruko won't count Kokoro towards membership. How will the DIY club manage to find the required 5th member? |

I can't decide who is my favorite, I feel pretty bad for Purin she is being left tout of all the fun and memories but granted, ti is by her own choice but more importantly a huge success for Serufu and the little pig. No Serufu and pigs were harmed in the making of this episode. |

| This episode managed something rather surprising... Firstly, Serufu went the entire duration without getting injured once. Secondly, her pet pig wasn't traumatised at all since Yua and her mother weren't eating pork. Since they were eating dinner containing beef and chicken, the piglet could take it easy this time. I expect normal service to resume on both fronts next week! XD Anyway, we got a proper introduction to Kokoro and she's an absolute beauty. Her personality and the way she always says "meow" at the end of every other sentence makes her even more likeable in my eyes. Even though she can't officially join the DIY club since she's not from the same school as everyone else, she's still allowed to join as an "outside" club member and can take part in the big treehouse project. All that's left is for Miku to join and the whole group will be complete! =D |
| I've been under the weather since yesterday and been feeling a bit tired, but leave it to DIY to get those spirits up! The moment the title was shown this episode, I knew what the show was going for, and it's not really dramatically executed or anything to tug at your heartstrings, but it doesn't have to be like that at all. Kokoro's the new character this episode, and while I still don't understand the nya's in her speech, she's a happy, up-beat character that instantly gained respect in the DIY club, contrary to her treatment at home in the past. She finally found a sense of belonging somewhere, and that's wholesome. We also got to see the first steps in building that treehouse, and we finally got to see some tools at work. Serufu's improving at the DIY stuff, and they make a good team. Now the missing piece of the puzzle, is Purin! With people she knows all being caught up in the DIY scene, could she finally get dragged into it as well? |
| As a Forklift Certified, I must say, that they overexaggerated the weight of those palets. They seem to be one-use (that's why they were allowed to take them for free), so each of them had to weight 5kg max. I know they are girls, but still. Gross overexaggeration. |

| I was so pissed when they didn't properly sub her "Nyahaha!" laugh. I wish localizers didn't chug so much soy. Absolutely loved this episode, btw. The cat is adorable. She may be my favorite. |
| I was wondering how Shii/Kokoro would be able to join the club since she’s at a different school but I guess disabling security systems and becoming an outside member works lol, she’s definitely a great addition to the club, she’s already helping out the club big time with their treehouse/secret hideout by telling them where to find some unused pallets. I also really love Jobko being amazed by her being like a ninja lol. And yeah it looks like Purin is being an extreme tsundere about joining the club with Shii, but we all see her dancing in the OP, she will submit eventually lol. I also really enjoyed the actual DIY stuff we got in this one, making the wall shelf was cool to see with all the girls helping out, true wholesome SoL goodness man, I love this show. |

At first I assumed India with the opening scene of the episode, but then later on in the episode they mentioned Southeast Asia, which usually as a descriptor excludes countries of the Indian subcontinent, so given her skin color/tone and the architecture of her house (whether it was the real thing or an exaggerated and imagined, fantastical version of it), it all seemed very Thai or Cambodian. I just assumed a Southeast Asian country with Indic and Hindu influence historically like Cambodia, but it will be interesting to see if it's specified beyond these generalities. Since it's an original series, I don't believe there's any additional information out yet to help clarify. |
| Wow, no pig suffering this week, happy for you Meat. Makes sense that Shii would be from a wealthy family, it's safe to assume, everyone in YuuVoc is well off. She knows Sensei too, which is cool. Honestly thought she transferred just like that to their school, but I guess this is more realistic lmao. Those ninja skills though and that animation. Damn, Serufu can fucking draw, her imagination still be out there. Really excited to see how Purin will join them and of course the tree house. Kind of want one of those power drills now ngl. |
