Dang, this episode was tense. I miss Haruki's usual cherry personality.

He's still obviously on Miou's mind and tbh, I think she is marking art as a way to relive herself. The reunion between her and Miou has a lot of emotions between the two. It's amplified further by the mood and the snowy weather.

The reflection of their memories together really felt heartwarming and meaningful.

He gave up on the oversea!! Now it's SuzuKen's character's turn to be down.

The teacher came to visit him, who gave up on the movie altogether.

The girl finished the drawing and decides to tell him everything. The teacher entrusted her with a CD to give him.

After hearing that, he said he quit making movies because it was his brother's dream instead of his and he keeps copying him. She slapped him to wake him up. His brother connected the two of them, she said.

The CD was a video that he took of the brother and his friend on the day the brother saved the girl.

Hmmm... I don't know how it will end in next ep. (I mean I'm sure it would be a happy ending, but cannot imagine the whole ep.). I'm glad they made up, though.

Great, now he wants to be director again. It looks like their distance from each other will be more than 10 cm at the end.

Ugh

That slap tho lol.

If i dont see kiss next week, somebody is going to regret it! I understand that there maybe wassnt an ideal time this episode, but by god do i not give a shit! If this ends with them just being friends and/or maybe its just implied that after he studies in America they will be a couple i will flip. If it doesnt have a conclusive romance, then this series will drop from a solid 9/10 to a average 7/10 in my book

What a cute episode. I hope they atleast confess to each other or something next time !! Shoujos kill me because they usually remain unresolved. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS. Especially since they will be more than 10 cm apart T_____T

I like drama in anime in general, but that climax was way too dramatic even for me. His identity crisis was making him look like a serial killer with those beady eyes. And her overdramatic hair movement made me laugh when it was supposed to be serious. I still like the show, but that was kind of a poor execution imo.

eh, felt like they made this episode over-dramatic, I will admit though that this episode had me tensed up. Kind of hard to watch as Haruki broke down.

Sakku really saved the day for this couple. The drama on the other hand was extremely forced which ruined the whole mood from the previous episodes.

Slice of life storylines don't mix well with too much drama, especially for one scene.

This was certainly very emotional... It was so heartbreaking to see Haruki's meltdown when he thought he had been living Aki's dream this entire time.... ;_____; I'm happy Haruki still came to see Miou in the end, and that she had the courage to tell him the truth!

That was a nice slap back into reality - Aki helped Haruki find his dream, not that he had been living his brother's dream. I loved it when Miou said that Aki saved her, which gave her opportunities to paint and led her to meet Haruki. <3

I also love the way Miou confessed! "A painting of my first love!" >< Haruki thought of the fireworks! Haruki knows he is her first love! :)

The recording of Aki at the end was also emotional... ;____; It's touching that even though Aki is dead, he's able to help Miou and Haruki. I hope Haruki goes back to school and accepts the opportunity to study in America!

I love these kinds of relationships where the two people support each other, without needing to date. If Miou and Aki were dating, it would be difficult to say goodbye. It's better to date when they're both settled in their careers, and they could always support each other. :)

Oh my gosh, that slap! Did not expect that to happen. When Miou tossed the umbrella, I thought she would hug Haruki or something...

Conflict resolved... one more episode yet...

Too much crying and drama to my taste but generally the episode wasn't bad.
Now that they reconcilled, I pretty much looking forward to the conclusion. Still wonder if he leaves for US. If I had to bet...

Why Seku care more about Miou than Haruki? Why he so mean to him? That's don't make any sense! It's all Miou and Seku fault! 2/5
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

First Miou, now Haruki?! I was this close to getting sick of all the mopey-ness but thankfully they cleared the air between them and all is well again for the final episode.

Finally, that wake up slap from Miou made Haruki regained himself. Damn the tense, i could really felt the emotion feelings from it completely from the first seconds of the episode till the end of episode. Glad that Chiaki's feeling delivered to both of them so they could be at ease at last.

The touching and soothing yet bittersweet scene of them drove my manly happiness tears out T_T, The feeling and emotion really channeled to me as the watcher.

With all those resolve on both of their determination, I can't wait to see HarukixMiou moments in the last episode.

Personally I feel that this is all Miou's fault hahaha. The whole drama was her fault as well.

She pushed Haruki away and everything. Not explaining anything, even to her friends until very late.
I understand the reason behind her thinking but still...

We also mostly see it from Miou's POV. Not enough Haruki.

I think they are very honest about how they feel about each other, but Haruki often forgets about him and this period of derogatory self-knowledge he is going through is proof of that. Miou suffers from a terrible inferiority complex, I feel sorry for her because she seems to live obliged to please everyone. I still believe that the drama placed in the anime is too exaggerated and the lines are too heavy, it seems that the anime is lost while failing to create a bond of empathy in the viewer. I feel a special attachment to this anime because I identify a lot with Haruki, I think they are a very sweet couple and he is a little boy who needs to understand himself better. The scene at the end where Aki-nii appears broke my heart, so beautiful so emotional.

This show infuriates me because of how painfully on the nose this whole thing is. Haruhi has done absolutely nothing wrong regarding miou and has had genuinely understandable reasons for any outbursts, negative reactions or questioning his dreams. Yet everyone treats him like the villain of the story.

Both of them spilling out what’s bothering them and making up, and watching the old recording was really good.
