| As someone who mostly found Power grating, I can't say I really care about her death. But I do respect the gall to kill the most popular character off so unceremoniously. Granted it was foreshadowed, and Makima outright said she do it, but it was so quick, and sudden, I loved it. |

I could easy guess what would happen in the next page (and I wasn't wrong), so seeing her coming to give a birthday cake to Denji was the moment that hit me really hard. Remember she was the most selfish character at the beginning, so it kind of symbolize her growth and how close she became with Denji, almost like siblings. She was also the last close person that Denji have left, after Aki's death so it makes it even more sad. |

Then, somewhat as seen from the future by Aki, Power gets killed... Not by Denji, exactly, but by Makima after she's invited and Denji obediently opens the door. This story is such a fucking mess. Fujimoto really can be unpredictable, but this randomness is worse than Fire Punch. |
