I liked it. It was nice to see them all going strong 7 years later except I wanted to know what happens with Hina and Kotaro. She was well aware of Kotaro's feelings for her at the end the 2nd movie and it seems like it hinted that she will eventually reciprocate them.

I loved how every character got their happy ending. Miou really waited for Haruiki for seven years, they must really love each other. And finally they able to close that 10cm gap and I must say I hope I will see them again.

This was a fine series with a hard hitting slice of life and romance. But I felt in the middle of the series Haruki acted a bit spoiled and had an annoying attitude especially towards the sensei and when he got that scholarship. Although short I felt it delivered.

I will give this an 8/10 because I dig when supports get happy endings.

I don't like when there are large timeskips where relationships are put on hold for many years. Really just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Like missing out on the prime of your live waiting, not even communicating.

That was really nice and satisfying, Miou and Haruki's story is the one with most plot twists so I am glad to see them happy. 8/10

This was a really great show. It was super adorable, I loved the characters, especially the three girls, it's not often when there are three girls in an anime that I love their personalities as much as I did. I thought about giving this show a 7/10 because that's about what I thought it deserved, but then I remembered that they had me enjoy it this much with only 6 episodes, and it didn't feel too rushed.....that's sometimes hard to do with double the amount of time for some anime. So I had to bump it up just for that, hell, if they could do that with 6 eps, imagine what they could have done with more time.

The ending was better than the last couple of episodes. It feels like an ending unlike others romance animes of Fall 2017 that tried and failed (even with more episodes) in that.

I give 5/10 only for the first episode, something in the middle and the last episode, also for animation.

Miou is such a cute girl! She said she would wait for the time Haruki needed, and she waited 7 years!!! That time skip was very nice, to see the other couples and Haruki's return, he should have been asking Miou to marry him already after all this time!

Good ending, she waited for him so long. I'm sad that Haruki will surely go back to New York :/. It was nice to see the other couples 7 years later.

I didn't know it was adapted from songs, now I want to watch the movies to have more details about the other characters.
It was a cute anime, the format of 6 episodes was perfect.

Somehow I like this anime more than the others Honeyworks anime. Maybe because the studio changed?

I have one unsatisfied thing with the ending though, why did they have to censor the kiss..

I agree with you but timeskip is not a problem when done properly.

No nonsense love triangle and a sweet finale. Couldn't have asked for a better one. The time skip suited the best for the story given how they couldn't say it out loud all these times. So becoming together after reaching there dreams is really satisfying. The best of all three HoneyWorks animated stories. I think Miou and Haruki became my favourite of all the couples from HoneyWorks anime. We need more anime like this.

8/10 for giving me such an adorable finale.

Why is it so hard for anime to show an onscreen kiss?

Haruki x Miou was my fav couple from the movies but the pay off wasn't satisfying after that seven years separation. At least I got to see some cute Akari and Mochizuki moments I guess.

Yasss that kisss!!! Omg !!

This went from my most favorite out of the other 2 installments to my least favorite after the first 2 episodes. I really, really do like this pair a lot, the set up and everything was nice, but I can't help but feel that the drama was really poorly written. The reason was just, but I hate the Japanese idea of drama = avoid people without telling them your reason. Think of how annoying it would be, to be on the receiving end of that bullshit. Miou was really sweet, shy but still has her own charm, until she decided to go even more emo than freakin Sasuke and literally just ignored pretty much everybody, for something she can't control. Imagine spending so much of your life mopping over something like that.

Haruki's drama is also pretty good, the idea is decent but the execution sucked. And it got resolved so easily, the tonal shift felt really weird.

But that ending tho. Imagine waiting for over 7 years without really contacting each other, and without telling each other how you felt before getting separated.. when the time comes for the ecchi stuffs, it's gonna be so rewarding after all that wait.

Still a bit pissed this didn't live up to my expectation after the great build up in the first 2 episodes. Episode 3-5 were almost unbearable to watch, couldn't get past those episodes without cringing at least once in 5 minutes.

But overall, as a fan of the franchise, the final scenes set 7 years later are gold and I screamed like a crazy fangirl. Cute to see them doing well and lovey dovey :) <3
I was smiling so hard the entire time !!!!! Ahhh I'm so happy it ended with this time skip otherwise I would've felt so empty !! A very sweet sweet ending !!!! I AM SO SATISFIED ♡

>_< aargh... me too as a big fans of Honeyworks, i can't stop smiling happily especially in the timeskip (YuuxNatsuki Marriage proposal, SoutaxAkari Lovey Dovey moment, and Finally HarukixMiou reunion that followed by beautiful confession and kiss >_<(only silhouette T_T))

Finally 10 cm gap closed with a confession and the kiss (damn it only showed the silhouette >_<) !!!!

I felt so happy watching the graduation, and Haruki confession to cancel the school final project film because of his dream to show a film that can make miou happy on watching it. That's so cute and adorable :D.

And not forgetting the best part, Timeskip !!!
Watching them grown past 7 years while reaching their dreams and live in adulthood. Moreover it also shown the perfect moment for all of main pairing.

YuuxNatsuki with the marriage proposal (argh... really sweet and cute), followed by SoutaxAkari with their lovey dovey moment of dating (another sweetie pie and cutie), and finally HarukixMiou with their reunion that ends up with soothing and beautiful love confession sealed up with kiss >_<, why only sihouettte tho XD !!

I personally think, they did perfect on doing the ending i really loved it so much, the story pace is also on the great pace, that's really good since this adaptation only came in 6 episodes. As for Character development, since it mainly focused on HarukixMiou pair, Their development was really great. as for other character especially another main pairing like YuuxNatsuki and SoutaxAkari, their development also quite good even as secondary projection in this adaptation (as for YuuxNatsuki their character development is already shown perfectly at the 1st movie, I hope SoutaxAkari got their own movie or series later lol), too bad i couldn't find MidorixSena scene in this adaptation (There are short screentime on Midori tho).

Overall, as A big fan of the franchise i really Loved the adaptation. Looking forward for another adaptation especially in SoutaxAkari since YuuxNatsuki have been adapted on the 1st movie. Well it's absolute 10/10 for me.

How the hell did something this forgettable and generic get a 7.66?

There was no development intern heir relationship at all, none, for it to make sense that they would wait 7 years for each other.

The characters weren't interesting or likable at all, just the same typical characters you get in these shows.

They closed the 10cm distance at least even though it took 7 years

Gotta love timeskip moments in anime, then you are ensured the romances will last

Glad that they did the 6-episode format, so that it wouldn't become boring

Well, it certainly ended on a happier note. The seven year time skip felt a bit over the top, but it does its job well at showing how Miou & Haruki both went onto successfully realize their dreams. The most satisfying part of that being that the 10 cm distance that kept them apart from so long was finally closed.

Overall this turned out to be quite the find. It was just the right length and had a solid blend of drama & romance. The innocent interactions between Miou & Haruki in the first two episodes were incredibly adorable. This reminded me quite a bit of Nijiiro Days and as a whole, I found it to be quite endearing.

Time-skips aren't my thing but I suppose a time-skip works out here. However a 7 year one is a bit too long to my liking. Anyways they go 7 very long years without any communication whatsoever? I get that they were pursuing their own dreams but it wouldn't have hurt to text each other once in a while. Though thankfully they had them put an end to that 10cm gap.

Just finished watching this I understand there's more then just what u see that doesn't change how I feel about this anime though sadly I ended up disliking it very much n also to see that people think it's like Kimi ni Todoke is appalling Kimi was an amazing anime that no they didn't kiss no they really didn't do much but Sawako was just to innocent for that n it's what made the anime that much sweeter but this it was dark at times n it didn't sit well with me not getting at least a kiss at the end I feel like I wasted 2hours of my life watching this anime sadly bc it was shaping up to be pretty decent

Just your typical Japanese bullshit ending. Don't know if there is anybody out there who really thinks that it's a great idea and a relatable way to handle this situation like the characters did in this anime. Anybody but manga writers of course. Normal people would figure out a way to keep their relationship alive while studying abroad. It's also not that hard to just move to your partner's country while he's working there. But the writer chose the cliché ending in which the girl is waiting for the boy for 7 goddamn years without a single call or message. SMH

As a reflection of the continuations toward Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita movies, this whole 6 episodes far better. Their story really flow well and suits into perfection for other gangs love in the end. At last, all of them get their loves and happy end (even Nat and Yu got married, very nice for the end as a continuations!). As a overall, besides the story netween Haruki and Miou, this series was amazing. Mixed a classical young love stories, great drama, and nice comedy parts really got me into a heart-warming feeling.

Then, as a main premises for the relations between Haruki and Miou, like its said in the tittle, was amazing. For the end, its a classical. But, as a progression, i shall be respect with the nice conclusion added there. Ofc for the happy ending and nice kissing moment appear, what else? Again, ny adding this as another story, these show really related for what movie i mention before, so watch it first before coming here. Esp with how Yu and Natchan can be together, how Akari and Mochita meet first time and feel the first love, and ofc their dramas, all of them really good to be watched first.

However, i dont want to write much about this 6 episodes length of the series. Because all of their scenes, really impact to my heart. A nice little romance story there. With a detail back story, amazing soundtracks, interesting character development, and else. I really got my enjoyment so high referring to these show. With all of them, shall i put 10? Ofc! Giving me with a nice story building for the good romance story of young lover, with a natural flow, the LDR routes of ending with the classical dreaming purposes as a reason, yes, what else i dislike about this show? Nothing. So, it proves enough for me for giving this statement.

10/10.

That ending kinda disappointed me. I dislike time skips in epilogues, especially when they are so huge (Jesus, 7 years).
Also, no communication? LOL. That's just such a stupid idea on the writer's part.

The 3rd and final couple is completed and I don’t think I even have to say this but it was by far the best arc, it makes me wonder if the other two movies could have been as good as this if given the same amount of screen time…sigh

Despite it only having 6 episodes this is definitely one of the better romance anime out there, it had the perfect amount of romance, drama and angst.
I was kind of hoping to see a glimpse of Kotarou and Hina but nevertheless I’m glad that we got to see the other couples get their happy end as well.

This episode came to the conclusion I had hoped for, although I may think further. I was very happy and it made me cry a lot, after all it is a story that I am very attached to. Their love is so pure and innocent! It was the icing on the cake when Haruki appeared all Americanized, I can imagine Miou's emotion at the moment, her heart racing and her joy. This anime did a lot of good for my heart!

Everyone got into the colleges they chose. Haruki leaves for US the day after graduation. They spend their last day together before he leaves.

They part ways on a good note, as friends. Feelings unconfessed but known to each other.

7 years later, Miou is an art teacher, just as she wanted to become. It’s nice and funny at the same time to see Akechi calling his once student as Aida sensei.

Natsuki and Yuu got engaged. Akari and Mochizuki are getting along well. Haruki won Rookie Director Award. He came to meet Miou, and there goes the reunion as adults. They finally closed the last 10cm gap. Confession done, and kiss done.

A good finale.
