| I feel kinda bad for Nanami. She made a new friend (Eiko) but now has to deal with the guilt of hiding her identity all this time. On the other hand, I'm glad to see Eiko keeping her head high with determination. Happy to see more of Kabe back too with a rivalry. Seems they're preparing for a big performance showdown for the final few episodes. Exciting times! |

| Well, is good and at same time bad, that will be a direct duel between EIKO and Azalea. That flashback made feel lightheaded, by thinking that Kongming returned to the past. |

| This particular Kabetaijin vs Sekitoba's battle was never shown in the manga so I'm so happy to see it animated and have this sub-plot resolved. |
| Nanami looks so empty and soulless, I really feel bad for her and hope she and her band mates can get back to the music that gave them joy. It’s a really clear contrast between she and Kabe/Eiko who have clearly found themselves now, are more confident and having success. Speaking of success, really happy for my boy Kabe. After everything he’s been thru recently it’s so nice to see him not only perform well, but be recognised by his rival as the better rapper. Solid episode as always, hopefully next week we get closer to an Azaela resolution. |

| Didn't seem like Sekitoba really competed, though Kabe's fine with it, so that's what it matters at the end of the day. Also can already feel a blockbuster performance coming up from Eiko, can't wait. |

In this episode, Keytime has decided to buy likes to get that 100.000 likes for a ticket to perform in Summer Sonia, and looks like that's not their main goal (since AZALEA main goal is to have a dome tour). And looks like Eiko, Kong Ming, Kabe and all BB Lounge gang just focusing on producing EIKO'S first single. Meanwhile, the countdown days is almost over. With one already had their ammunition (the Keytime and AZALEA), and the other... well... we haven't figured out what they're basically tryna do.. (Or just simply, we haven't known what Kong Ming strategy for now..) But one thing you can sure.. next week's gonna be hot! |

| Yuck... Buying likes?! Let me guess, Azalea will win because of cheating but the big guy (who arranged the competition) may give win to Eiko. I expect a super happy ending though. Eiko and Nanami singing together on the competition stage would be an icing on the cake! |
| Great episode! Nanami doesn't seem to be doing too well at Azalea either having to follow her manager's instructions... even including surprise events... Sekitoba held up Kabe's arm as the inner of the competition of his own accord! I'm happy that Eiko won the bet with the pudding geezer! It seems Konming had a flashback to the past or returned home temporarily also... Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Kabetaijin and Sekitoba kung-fu's battle was awesome, but not blazing though. The moment where Sekitoba raised Kabe's arm was more amazing and powerful than the cipher itself. Eiko's performance must've been powerful for Kongming to to go back into his memories. I love the song though, can't wait for a head to head with Nanami's azalea. |

| Eiko's found her reason for singing and Kid is now willing to arrange her new song. That was fun watching Kabetaijin and Sekitoba Kung-fu's battle. His reason is to represent the average joes like himself and his friend that got him into the rap game. I think the announcer for that battle was based on DJ Koo of TRF?   EDIT: Yes, he is, the credits even confirm he's the voice actor!  Nanami/Lezel recently covered one of TRF's songs, too! |

| The life of a dreamer, Eiko wants to experience it, whereas Nanami wants to live it as she's constantly being oppressed in Keytime under Karasawa's crude leadership that sells. The X-Day is coming closer, and while Eiko is ready to sing her next song and deciding on its title, there's Kabe facing off with his formal rival Sekitoba Kung Fu, while Kongming does the work of 100 men in the lesser of time. Karasawa on other hand, is doing that the typical corporate shill would do to earn their spot, from holding surprise concerts to buying likes. The comeback of revenge battles: Kabetaijin vs. Sekitoba Kung Fu...and the rap this time feels less prominent to tell more of a comeback story then something like the caliber of when Kongming first met Kabe when he was at his lowest. I think I understand why these anime-original scenes were both a hit and miss to flesh Kabe's character more, while keeping the anime well-paced for its banger finale. It's time for Eiko to get strapped into her song vibes, and that was POWERFUL enough for Kongming to transcend back into his own time from memories past with Liu Bei, the man for the populace back in the Three Kingdoms' time. Remember those episode titles? Episode 7's "Plan for Peace Throughout the World, Vol. 1" and Episode 9's "For the Populace" joins the ambition for the song which is this episode's title "Dreamer", will combine to create one BIG BANG finale! Looking forward for the final stretch. |

| My only gripe with this anime is that it appears that this season won't reach even the best part so far in the manga material. I know PA Works hasn't been doing well as of lately, which goes back to the consequences of doing all those hit-or-miss original anime, but I do hope s2 can be possible, even if not in the immediate future. |

| Eiko's new song is finally complete with the assistance Kid doing the arrangements. Kabe's battle with Sekitoba Kung Fu was alright, but we knew Kabe was going to win anyway. It seems like AZALEA manager is planning on buying out the competition for likes by doing a surprise concert in Shibuya and their main goal is to perform in the Tokyo Dome which is a huge venue in Japan. |

Eiko's shirt is absolutely perfect. 100% straight facts right there I think that would've been interesting if Kongming actually did reincarnate back into the old world at the moment that he heard Eiko's voice. He would have achieved his purpose in helping Eiko find herself. And now that the task was completed, Kongming would return home, knowing that Eiko was now ready to continue and finish her journey on her own. |

This anime may be a bit overshadowed in the West, but it is currently trending as the top anime of the season in Japan, according to the Nico anime rankings. |

| Kongming, a man that is perpetually ten step ahead of others, should have already excogitated some genius plan for the approaching showdown with Azalea. Also, I never really thought about this this but damn, Eiko sure has a perfect pair of legs! It's no wonder she's always wearing short shorts. |

| Can't believe Eiko was wearing a "MILK" t-shirt. I swear, her drip is so perfect. And oh boy, the hype is real. Can't wait to see both Eiko and Azalea's performances next week! Now on a different note, Kongming's "flashback" lowkey scared me a bit. For a moment I really thought we would be getting a random side-plot with him actually returning to the past lol. |

| After last week's relatively laid back episode, this week was jam packed with stuff happening. Eiko marching into battle was a great moment. I'm glad the second rap battle got wrapped up quickly because there really isn't much time left with Summer Sonia just days away. It didn't feel too rushed either. I don't use comment faces but smug Kongming feels like it deserves to be one for sure. Plus seeing our boy in his everyday clothes from way back was cool. He really pulls off the look. |

| Oh man this was so good. I'm literally itching to watch the next episode and hear Eiko's finished song. SO good that had to upgrade my rating from 8->9. The way this is progressing I wonder if they will show us who gets the most likes by the end of this season. 2 episodes is a very short time, even assuming that somehow Eiko gets 100k likes then still I don't think there will be enough time left for them to show us her Summer Sonia performance. Really hoping for a Season 2 announcement ASAP. 5/5. |

| Another week, another episode! This episode just felt waaaaay too quick! Things are wrapping up fast and we're ever closer to day X. Kabetaijin won the rap battle, even when the BPM is slower, I think they're saving his high BPM rap on the actual big day song. The same goes with Eiko's singing. We get to see a snippet of it and several montages of both her and Azalea practising, but the complete length would definitely be during the final big day performance. Aw man, only 2 episodes left, I'll be sure to savor the rest of this underrated gem of a show. |
