It was good, but cracks are starting to show. Like how many times is Anya going to pull that face every time Yor makes an assassin reference? This is getting old. The comedy is limited to mainly Anya's response to what people are thinking, in particular the crazy stuff Yor is thinking. Yor's constant blushing is the stuido's way of baiting simps and thirsty weebs. Let's face it. Yor is that demure waifu bait, and is pretty dense...having lived a life focused on assassinations. It is not believable that someone as dense as Yor is able to hold down a normal job. Yor running off like that, and the Loid also doing some mad athletic stunts is highly questionable. Neither party stops to think (in broad daylight) how someone can move like that, given their profession. You'd think that at least a highly intelligent spy like Loid would probe further into Yor's history, but nah. This is not the first time he saw her reflexes and athleticism. The fact that Loid attracted so much attention despite being an elite spy also breaks the immersion. We are supposed to believe that the best of the best slipped up like that and started doing the exact same shit that Yor was doing... Isn't he supposed to be the smart one? Yes, I know...It's a comedy. But still, these are valid points. The cracks are starting to show. Tired of "this is wholesome" nonsense. Starting to hate the word wholesome. Overused. |

Nothing that impressive so far, for now is just another generic detective-themed anime with sprinkle of magic from Anya. This is anything but generic, specially since spy themed anime aren't really that common. This is derivative. Mr and Mrs Smith (the movie) had a similar concept. This show just added an Esper to the mix. That's it. Almost all works of fiction are derivative. |

That's it? and not Loid changing hairstyles, smiling, blushing, glasses? That's not remotely comparable. The blushing is almost a constant feature on Yor's face. Yes, I can see that Loid is portrayed as the perfect man: intelligent, wealthy, handsome, caring... But Yor is also attractive for an anime character (as weird as that sounds). Yor's blushing could be compared only to Loid preening, like adjusting his hair all the time or flexing...Nah, but Loid does not adjust his hair that much. Smiling? Lol. Nah, the blush is unnecessary. It is cheap bait. You know I am right. Nothing wrong with accepting that it is waifu bait. I can accept that Holo from Spice and Wolf is Waifu bait, for example. But this is cheap. Not subtle at all. Look past your bias. |

Now, if the "wholesome" part bothers you so much, well, I'm sorry to tell you, but maybe this anime is not for you. Okay, but my points stand. You can't fault my reasoning based on what I have seen. I can only judge based on what I have seen so far. Loid is not even consistent with his own character. The best spy (or an elite) would not make such rookie mistakes. It destroys the immersion. I can forgive OP fights...etc...where he goes and solos a whole team by himself, but running in broad daylight goes against one of the very first things he said about blending in and not attracting too much unwarranted attention. The fact that he doesn't suspect Yor even now is highly flawed. He might suspect her later, but it still doesn't change that it is not consistent with how we was made out to be. If most viewers think it is preposterous, then a man, who is part of the cream of the crop, should see through Yor with ease, or at the very least question how someone with her profile can move like that. The comedy argument does not hold, as this is still a spy drama. There is a limit to the suspension of disbelief that one can accept. Still a solid 8/10 at the moment. Let's see if it gets better or worse. The fandom is cringe. Wholesome this...Wholesome that. Just sheep who have limited vocabulary, lol. |

For those who say the episode is rather "normal" or "nothing special is going on", I thus welcome you to the world of Slice of Life. I think if you expect the show to be action-packed, then that's quite unfortunate for you. I say Spy x Family is 70% wholesome family moments and 30% actions. With that expectation in mind, I think you can enjoy the show just fine. Ending theme visual is finally here! We're living in Anya's world, ladies and gentlemen. Also... WHAT THE HECK IS THAT CUTE LITTLE DANCE AT THE END??!?! (Sentenced with death of wholesomeness...) |

I am chilled, dw. Let's see how this anime progresses. Hopefully the comedy will progress a bit more without the help of Anya. I think Anya is the main facilitator of the comedy. It's getting tiring to see her react to every one of Yor's killer references (elephant poison...bloodstains on clothes, etc.).Loid's frustration at having to handle a dense "wife" and an eccentric child is amusing, but this might also become boring later. But the comedy is very situational, atm. Maybe the comedy is not my cup of tea. Apparently the interview will be hilarious. |

No. People understand what a gag is. But the hardcore fans clearly don't understand what suspension of disbelief is. We all accept that there is a supernatural element to this show, seeing that there is an esper... but this doesn't change the fact that Loid is a terrible spy. An elite spy who runs after a mere thief to help a bystander...Not only does he run, but he jumps in a dramatic way...And so does Yor, and he doesn't ever question Yor's sharp reflexes or athleticism. He'd have done a background check on her, but he doesn't think for a moment how Yor can run like that with her background? The immersion is broken. Yor is stupid...We know. But the best spy is also ignorant for the sake of the plot. Okay.... |

Overused. Why only Yor as a waifu-bait? Don't you think Loid as a husbando-bait as well? Because of the constant blushing? She has been made to appear extremely coy/demure...and the blushing reminds me of those Attack on Titan lines under the eyes. Overused. Cheap gimmick. Hope that makes sense. That's it? and not Loid changing hairstyles, smiling, blushing, glasses? Chill bro, I never said it's wrong, I just asked why you consider Yor a waifu bait, but not Loid, and I got my answer already. That's good, seeing how you just assumed things, making me assumed you're having a bad day or some shits as well. Honestly, the comedy relies on wholesomely funny, instead of making you laugh it's more of just a huge wide smile. So, if you don't find the main cast likable, you'll probably gonna take it more seriously than you're supposed to. |

So, if you don't find the main cast likable, you'll probably gonna take it more seriously than you're supposed to. They are likeable, but Yor lacks depth. Tbf, she hasn't had much screen time, but atm she just strikes me as am OP Mary Sue, but with denseness. I don't like it when female characters are generic. Like she gives me the whole Hinata from Naruto vibes...with raised hand in front of face for shyness, etc. If Yor were blonde, she'd nail the dumb, attractive blonde stereotype. Hopefully her character will grow later. Have not read the manga. But in shounen, a lot of female characters are not that complex. Loid, on the other hand, already has some depth, but he had the benefit of 3 episodes so far. I get the feeling that in this anime, Yor is more of an accessory. Loid and Anya are the main foci. |

So I’ve already been loving this so far from the first two episodes, but after seeing them become a family this week, I think I truly understand why this series is so loved now if we keep getting stuff like this. The first bit where Anya was showing Yor the house was so cute, throughout the whole episode Anya is just pure sweetness, and also hilarious lol. There were also a lot of good Yor bits, seems she gets kinda horny from seeing deadly weapons lol, I like that, and seeing Loid slowly warm up to the family to seeming super happy was very nice. And we got new ED visuals, damn those were nice, the Anya focus is great, and that song is definitely growing on me, and it seems there’s quite a bit of characters to be met, definitely exciting. Damn now I gotta wait another week now lol, but it’ll be worth it for sure, as if there wasn’t enough wholesome this season, I also got this to look forward to. And awesome to hear they added some anime original bits to enhance the adaptation, they are truly pouring a lot of love into this, love to see it. |

I really appreciated how they expanded on this chapter. It made their progression from strangers to a "family" feel smoother. The house tour was super cute and I really liked the added touch of Loid holding onto Anya while she sat on the railing so she wouldn't fall. Anya's faces and noises really shown here too. She definitely made me laugh a few times. Super excited for next week's episode! It's one of my fav chapters! |

When I saw the box labelled for bedroom I thought "oh right what about the sleeping arrangement" and the next scene answered me right away haha Anya being so excited helping Yor and giving her a house tour and her banters with Loid, so cute TT They are deliberately not letting us see Yor's sibling huh. A wholesome family bonding initiated by Loid to get a feel of the upper class image and looking like family. In the end it worked out when he was not thinking so much about it. Finally I get to see the whole scene context of Loid/Yor's イチャイチャ haha I already loved the ED song from ep 1 but the accompanying video for it is so good!!! That detail of them dancing is so cute |

Yor terrifies me at starring deeply at sharp objects, also at that guillotine painting as well >.>; I thought for sure Anya would cry at dad's words at the restaurant when thinking that he picked the wrong, but no XP Why would he say that? :O Anyways, I loved their interaction in this episode :D Anya is a cutie <3 |

Chichi tsundere xD I swear Anya's random comments never fail to make me chuckle. Comfy episode overall. I can already tell that Yor fits perfectly into the family and man, I love the ED visuals so much. It's all just so sweet, calm and comforting ♥ That said, I'm really looking forward to next episode since it seems Loid will lose his shit in the interview. |
