I can't imagine the amount of stress Gentiane has to go through everyday being in her commander position. on the frontline, we still have the M4A1 and her squad fighting the usual fight.

Destroyer didn't impress me much at all, much like most of the other antagonists in this show. With two more episodes left, I'm keeping expectations low for rest of the series.

Destroyer ain't a Sangvis T-Doll, she's more of a sacrifical suicidal tool used by Dreamer, an attempt to kill 2 birds with one stone: kill both the decoy Destroyer (if she can escape unscathed) and the AR Team with her "Jupiter" cannon artilleries within their own territory.

M4A1's AR Team has gone too deep in to really escape from the bombardment team, and every Griffin team is mobilized to help AR Team escape while focusing their attack on one centrifugal point. AR-15 though, managed to intersect in Dreamer's way being an unconscious spy for Sangvis, all the pieces have been placed together to form one big picture.

Sangvis has shown their hand on fully-armored dolls, and AR Team must survive on their own. But to expect Kryuger and his team to be out on a similar mission, now that is a surprise to oversee ground operations.

This Parapluie virus within AR-15, that's their key objective, even if Commander Gentiane has feelings for them, and only AR-15 can finish this once and for all.

To think that the tough Destroyer was actually a crybaby though. Despite the situation Dreamer's laid back nature really is amusing to see. But damm that was quite the trap she prepared. Though the dolls AI can be brought back through the backups its still sad to see them used like that though. These tactics are the ones that Gentiane hates the most as well. The talk with Helian and her though proved to be most enlightening as it showed the true worth of AR team not only as a unit but as individuals as well. The boss man taking to the field was quite the surprise. Still the intel that they found about Sangvis presented a rather interesting picture on them. Between Sangvis and Griffin AR15 really can't catch a break it seems. But overall this ep was a interesting one that expanded a great deal on the nature of AR team as well as the inner workings of Sangvis as well. I think this ep is the one where Helian had the most lines as well. Hopefully AR team will be able to catch up to AR15 before the worst happens.

Right where we left off with Dreamer terrorizing Destroyer, she brushed it off as a joke and ended up saving Destroyer after all with her massive artillery guns, it was kinda sad to see Griffin having to sacrifice the other units to save AR Team but I guess it makes sense why they had to. Now everyone is out trying to find AR15 while she does her own thing, also for some reason Kryuger fought the AR team near the end of the episode, I guess it was just a test lol.

Also Dreamer is pretty great, probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Sangvis doll so far.

Pretty sure anime didn't do her justice though. She is strong. It's just she's also equally dumb so it zero out.

I liked it because the episode shows that the Dreamer and Destroyer were targeting the AR team that made the commanders sacrifice their troop

Dreamer is really one of the toughest threat we got so far, too bad for Destroyer but well AR-15 in solo mode is great to see to be honest

Oh boy, as always, the other doll team ordered to be a cannon fodder again to save AR ass. Glad that Dreamer still thinking its fun bringing a calamity to those poor dolls. If only she focused more to the AR team, the victims from other unit shouldn't be that much. But, she also had her own agenda, to lure out AR-15 which lurking around in the nearby area, and dumped as much as information they wishes. That's good, more clearance, and forced AR-15 to really become a lone wolf. Destroyer also manage to be saved, ill be very much feeling down if she's death after all the cries.

But at the same time, AR-15 was not that alone. Kryuger himself and his juggernaut team also move, following with the rest of AR team while standing guards behind Kryuger. There's no time to rest, Sangvis keeps evolving, and some virus will be spreading soon. So let the hunt continue....

Hot damn. This is one tense episode. I feel bad for those dolls that's used as bait to get AR Team to safety. And Gentiane is not happy about this.

In the chapter 14 of the manga, youi'll see one of the t-dolls were terrified and see the aftermath.

Judging by the title of the next episode, I think we are going to skip Operation Cube and go straight to Chapter 6 instead.
I was really hoping to see Cube animated though. The manga did a really good job adapting it from the game and it has some of the best action scenes so far. And more 404 of course. Kinda sad that we won't see them with how they were teased a few episodes ago. Really a loss that anime onlys won't see them in action.

Adapting Chapter 6 in two episodes seems pretty yikes though. So far the anime has adapted 15 manga chapters in 10 episodes. Meanwhile we only have 2 episodes left to adapt at least 6 chapters of the manga...
Seeing how they're gonna handle that is something to look forward to I guess.

Yep, just realized that. Really bummed we wont see Squad 404. I'll remain hopeful that we'll eventually see them in an OVA for Cube maybe. And I'm with you there, all of chapter 6 in the 2 eps has got me a little worried.

Well, the anime finally dropped one of the many big reveals to come in that unlike other T-dolls, AR Team cannot create neural cloud backups. This means that unlike other T-dolls, AR team only has one life to live. The anime is also only scratching the surface of just how important and special AR Team is as well. There's more reasons besides their lack of the ability to backup their memories, though sadly I'm not sure we'll get a whole lot on them in the last 2 episodes.

That said, a little worried that one of the most important and pivotal story chapters, Chapter 6, Comet is only getting two episodes. (RIP a certain new, important and other great T-doll getting a cameo or maybe a 30 second scene in the last episode at best.) The end of Chapter 6 is when things begin to get real, now that the anime is revealing more things and begins the cycle of suffering that is Girls' Frontline. Very curious how they are going to handle Chapter 6-E (In the game, the E is for 'Emergency' missions in each chapter after you complete the main chapters, that offer very important epilogue, story and lore info for each chapter.) as well since that's going to be pretty crucial depending on how they want to end this season. It would be rather awkward for them to start off with it if this gets a second season given it's story impact, but maybe it'll be for the better so the next two episodes aren't rushed too much.

For background, the mentioned Aegis and Neuman units are special heavily armored Sangvis units, usually found in night missions (where both ally and enemy accuracy is zero unless certain equipment is used by both sides). Unlike regular Sangvis units however, small arms fire from Assault Rifles, SMGs and Handguns, are very ineffective against them, you usually need Sniper Rifles or LMGs with special ammo to damage them (Though in the game LMGs have terrible nighttime accuracy, so you usually use Sniper Rifles to deal with them.) Regardless, Aegis and Neuman units are a pain to deal with and curious how the anime might handle it since there's really no Sniper Rifle main characters in the game and many Sniper Rifles we've seen in the anime have been relegated to a support role. (I wonder if anime will spoil us players with our 'War Goddess' Sniper Rifle or our special 'Ara Ara,' Sniper Rifle or not. Or maybe Springy will finally have a chance to shine. Would be nice since you get her special equipment in Chapter 1 Night, and the anime is now introducing Aegis and Neumans which you are first introduced to in Chapter 1 Night).

Also, big sad for anime onlys not getting to see 404 Squad shine in Operation Cube(+?). Though given it's event style in the game, I think it would make much more sense for it to be like a 3-4 episode OVA, but who knows if the anime is doing well enough to warrant OVAs, let alone a second season. I certainly hope so, but who knows.

I also noticed that Sangvis model Alchemist, the boss of Chapter 6, and kind of important for the plot, isn't in the opening, so curious if she was just left out either accidentally or as a surprise or if the anime is going to do something different for Chapter 6. Well, guess we'll find out next time!

No I don't read manga. Why? Because according to MAL manga readers, all anime is either: too rushed, too slow, anime original, or a terrible adaption. I like to enjoy anime for what it is, anime.
