The ED and the visuals for it are very unsettling.

I hope Connie's family is alright, but knowing Attack on Titan, there's a good chance they might not be.

Sasha is so cute and badass at the same time. Loved the focus on her in this episode.

Poor Coonie. That titan on his house have the same eye color that him, maybe someone of his family become a titan.

This was a Sasha episode. Not amazing but still really good. Much needed development for her character. The moment with her father was genuinely heartwarming too.

It's nice to see some supporting roles getting development on screen as well. Even Conny got some in this episode!

Another good episode for attack on titan season two! I think that my comments for this episode are much like the previous episodes. There were some real big highlights in terms of animation, those seconds when Sasha threw the child and then raised the bow were really special. Again, the horse simulator, it's not great. This episode it wasn't laughably bad as it was in episode one, but really noticeably bad. I think that we can all agree that Hange is a great character and does a great job of lightening the mood without actually changing the tone of the series.

Some important things for me to remember as I go forward with the series. Sasha's father has a whole speech about helping one another and how it's important to stay unified. I think a lot of the narrative of humanity has to band together is carried over from episode one, and honestly season one. I think that while season one had a much more straight forward good versus evil in a really bad predicament for the humans, the season two has a lot more focus on subgroups, not just poor versus rich. Something for me to keep an eye out for is how much of this human help human, stick out for each other, narrative continues.

Something that I asked myself this episode is, "Is the violence in attack on titan overly gratuitous?" I think the hopelessness of humanity can really be encapsulated within the violence of the show. The titans brutally massacring the humans really paints them as a picture of pure evil. I don't know if the answer to that question will hold even as the series progresses.

Why do all of these military personnel completely break down the second anything bad happens? They're written as if they're just normal townsfolk. It's so weird. They're supposed to be part of this elite group of warriors who ARE SPECIFICALLY TRAINED TO FIGHT TITANS and yet every time they see any Titan related violence they freeze up and start crying and pooping their pants.

I think it was ok. Glad that Sasha got screentime ,but she is a side character ,so nothing really changed about Sasha or plot. Honestly I like Sasha only because of potato memes, so this didn't mean a lot to me. I still think that it is a nice episode.

As the battle progresses Eren and the others make a move to catch up with the others who are fighting other titans and he learned that the priest doesn't give information to anyone

This episode focuses more on Sasha a little bit of screentime doesn't hurt but glad that she's getting more attention now and poor Sasha the pressure keeps getting into her

But she took down that titan's vision that should give her a lot of time and got reunited with her family again that was a weird-looking "titan" a bit short.

Unusual situations, Survey Corps used wall Sina as their first ground to the journey beyond the wall. That's not a good sign for the humanity existence. Potato girl was a scaredy-cat before, hiding inside her beloved forest. But not this time, she fought well, and appreciated by her father. Well, i thought the heavy dead flag flutter as soon as Sasha lost her horse. Guess its not the time yet for her. Maybe the bald guy? Ofc that was a big freakin mystery. That titan looks like receiving a curse, after arriving the village. However, as always, lets see next.

Super mysterious how the titans breached Wall Rose. And now that the Beast Titan has the maneuver gear it's in the hands of the enemies. As soon as Sasha entered her village, it felt as eerie as a scene from Demon Slayer.
Also funny how Connie said he became a soldier because of intellect, but didn't know where his heart was when saluting.

I cannot stress this enough, FUCK THE BEAST TITAN for killing Miche.
That pastor is getting on my nerves.
Sasha's dad is super wise.
Did anyone notice the dead frog impaled on the branch? Totally missed that
the first time.
This is the episode I fell in love with Sasha.
W Dad, W Sasha, W character development, W Episode. 10/10

Already showing signs of being slower paced than season one. Fighting the titans this time will be of lesser focus than that of the finding out the mystery surrounding them. That and with our cast separated and going various ways in dealing out with the strange titan appearances within wall Rose and riding out to the several villages warning them about the titans, we will also have our supporting characters fleshed out a little more as well: Sasha, for one, which we have seen here, and now towards the end of the episode, we have arrived at Connie's village, where something tragic, and something strange, has occurred.

I get the feeling that this slower pacing was looked down upon by quite a lot of people who viewed it as it was airing back in 2017. They've been waiting 4 years for this, to get back into that high octane action, and yet they were greeted with something slower, more methodical. And I'd probably be thinking the same. But watching this now, all at once, it actually is a nice time to slow down (although I still wouldn't use the word "slow", the stakes are still quite as high as ever). Season one did an excellent job of capturing the audience's attention and getting them invested and intrigued by this world and setting the stakes. In season 2, it's time to get a little deeper, to find out the inner workings underneath the surface.

Inside of Wall Rose too many plains and sparse trees, no people live. Humanity seems to have no one left. Maybe even less people than where I live.
I really look forward to the breakthrough in Mikasa, hope she will freely express her personality, not clinging to Eren anymore. Wish Erwin gave Mikasa a little bit of personality. I don't want to hate a good character I once liked, just because that person was described in the wrong way.
I like Armin when he's thinking and explaining rather than when he's using his intellect to oppress someone.
Everything happens continuously, leaving viewers breathless.
I wish there was a better explanation for Sasha's habit of stealing than the impact the titan event had on her family, as this shouldn't be too surprising. Sasha's father preached as if he lived in the army, not a hunter.
I think such a short flashback doesn't fully capture Sasha's personality.
sh*t this is the most human-like titan that ever appeared.
Sasha went home so she was much braver, not sure if her impulsive naughty personality was innate or not.
It seems that every student of the training must know how to whistle.
Sasha's sequence is very good, very nerve-stimulating. I look forward to more stories like this.
Ymir cut her hair short? wow
I think the characters are of European origin (because of their names) but Ymir and Sasha are talking about Japanese language cultures problem? Somewhat weird.
There is another mistake in the way Sasha is described. She was in the forest and know hunting. She may not be a social fit for everyone, but describing her as timid and fearful is rather odd.
Wait, Krista has Erwin's eyes, Erwin's daughter?
The Sasha-Ymir flashback is meaningless, unless it reminds us of the Ilse story.
Why is the little girl running so fast?
I'm pretty sorry about Sasha's flashbacks, if only instead of dad's lecture and Ymir's encouraging words, give me Sasha's childhood scenes, when she was happy. If we watched those scenes, the new heroine'd be really great.
I think with a kid who understands and runs so fast, she will never sit still and watch her mother being eaten by a titan.
Done. So Connie's story spoke the truth. There's a potion that turns people into titans. I mean all titans were once human.
The pictures in the ED part are really creepy in a way. I haven't understand what they mean.

After seeing the OP again, I'm curious why prehistoric animals are rampaging at the end. It looks like they're being led by that furball aberrant. Very interesting.
3:38 Now that Armin mentioned it. Back in S1, even the Colossal Titan was careful enough not to damage the walls. Interesting.
Sasha was kinda hot in this episode. hehe
Damn, these Titans are becoming creepier and creepier by the episode.

Sasha finally got some much deserved screen time and some character development finally.
Can't say I was expecting her to jump at that titan with that arrow.

Also, that titan at the end that couldn't seem to move seems a bit odd, I guess that will probably be explained later.

Potato girl really has come far since the training.

Connie and Sasha seeing their villages devestated after not being able to even see it for years... I was not aware some of the smaller titans could fit through doors, that makes this even scarier and I probably would rather be killed by the ones that are two stories tall because they'll get the job done in just a bite or two. And also that titan at the end kinda looking awfully sus

Good episode, interesting to see a little of Sasha's past and that she has changed a lot, both her way of speaking so that they don't make fun of her and how selfish she was, good development. F the girl's mother and NT for Sasha trying to save her although it seems that Connie's town is worse, we will see how it goes
PS: I don't know if it's a mistake but instead of leaving the district through the front and continuing towards where they are The The rest comes out the back... that is, towards the inside of the Sina wall but I don't know... maybe it's part of the plan
