| I don’t think I’ll ever stop being impressed with this anime; this episode had the same level of quality as the movie and that is just mind blowing! Season 2 kicked off with Striking Tide to the heart… like did we need to go through THAT scene of the movie again?! And then Senjuro… it hurts π₯² Is it a requirement of being a Hashira that you have to be weird with a sprinkle of awesome? Cause Tengen is giving off similar vibes in that way to Rengoku π Definitely looking forward to seeing the trio in Yoshiwara… for a multitude of reasons π |

| It still makes me sad when I see Kyoujuro's death. Tengen Uzui appears to be a very funny and fun character, one of those who make you laugh when they are angry. I hope they do good character development on it too, like they did on Kyoujuro. |

| I mean it's more demon slayer, The animation was great as one would expect but I don't know whether my sense of humor has changed or what because none of those jokes really landed for me. All and all decent first episode and I am looking forward to see what happens from here |

It’s 45 minutes of animated content + 15 minutes of ads. It’s nothing new, not to Kimetsu no Yaiba nor to any other anime that have announced an 1h episode before. |
| Damn, this show really can't do humour. It's out of place most of the time and really poor at that. I'm not sure if there wasn't so much of it, was less jarring or just covered by more engaging story and action in the first season, but I don't remember it being so bad before train arc. This episode was a bit of a drag getting a recap of the end of a whole recap season and a rehash of training montage from the end of the first season. Hopefully it was only a lingering lameness of the previous arc and it will pick up. Screwing up story in a red district setting would be... ehh. |

| Now, wasn't this a flashy, flamboyant first episode *\(>u<)/* Although ngl, the entire first half most definitely had me squirming and screeching around like a worm while being an absolute wet mess, the rest of it regained all the hype built up during the wait previously to not only deliver a promising return of the 3(or 4 ig including Nezuko-chan~) demon slayers we so love, but also the introduction of relatively new characters like Senjuro and the ex-shinobi Hashira(whom I sorta kinda don't really have a good opinion of as of rn) in a pretty elaborate way for sure. Not to forget the bangin' Op and truly beautiful visuals, it does live up to the hype till now without a doubt. P.s. Senjuro and Tanjiro give off such a comfy and warm vibe like I can't even (T^T) those children have suffered too much already bro give them a break ;-; Oh and Haganezuko-san, your anger, is totally justified I lowkey agree fr one should not just plunge their katana if not required towards an Upper 3 rank demon no matter the circumstances especially when they know they're already being somewhat targeted by the fking demon lord or idek what to call that Muzan snot faced brat (rn) lying ass piece of shit. Anyway, what we mean to say is this was for sure a great success of a first ep in this season so we're looking forward to whatever's coming next in the series and yay ~(^u^)~ |

| Good first episode. After Rengoku's passing, Senjurou was very sad and his father were devastated, as it is shown when he drank and started to cry. There will be a mission in the Entertainment District, and Tanjiro volunteered himself, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke. In order to save Aoi from the duty, and to know what was happening. The animation is in the same Ufotable level, which is nice. The opening is very good, although it doesn't compare to Gurenge. Let's see what will happen now. |

| There are many things I want to say but.. A question first! Was anyone laughing when Tanjirou headbutt the former Flame pilar a.k.a Kyoujurou's father? Because I did, and I was about to cry from the insults that old man threw to both his sons. But that HEADBUTT! Lmao As usual, the animation is stunningly breathtaking. I haven't read the manga (will do once I finish the anime), so every scene is new to me. The transition from sad and heartbreaking part (almost 2/3 of the episode) of mourning Rengoku to the uh.. Hilarious and overly cheerful (flamboyant?) part of Tengen's attic is rather surprising, but not unwelcome. Because duh, it's Yuukaku-hen, so I expect as much. Speaking of.. I don't think I'm ready if there's any ecchi, or sexual harassment in KnY (like how Tengen slapped Aoi's butt). I've been avoiding any shounen with ecchi elements *hic* but if (more like "when") that ecchi element appears in KnY, I gotta swallow it, right? *sniff* About the OP, I don't dislike Aimer (duh~) but I haven't clicked with the OP yet.. Aimer's voice is very soothing, and since this is Yuukaku-hen I expect more energetic or mischievous OP.. Or maybe I'm just too used to LiSA's voice..? I'm sure I'll like it in the next few episodes lol Overall, this first episode of KnY season 2 is sadder and funnier than I expected. I love it! |

| Fine start, but I was expecting more since it has been a while. They’re still really milking the emotional stuff with Rengoku even though from an anime watcher perspective we have had many months to digest his death so most of it doesn’t hit. The comedy has never been my favorite part either and we got a decent amount of that this episode as well. Can’t knock the production through. The music, art, animation, and voice acting are all some of the best there is for a weelkly show. |
| A solid episode from Ufotable. The production quality is top notch as always, but with the episode being over 40 minutes long, I expected more to get hyped up about. I never understood the emotional incontinence of Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke blubbing their eyes out over a character they knew for the duration of a solid train ride. It just felt forced and unearned. I understand the episode is just a setup for the main part of the arc though, and having read the manga, I know the best is still yet to come. Aside from the first 5 minutes and the conversation between Akaka and Muzan, and also the way the intro was seamlessly blended in, the rest was a little underwhelming. 3/5 |

| Yay, the second season is finally here! Hmm, Muzan now being a little child? I was expecting he's a demon but did not expect Muzan. I thought he would kill Akaza, but that would not be fair, I feel like he needs to die by Tanjiro's hand in the end. Omg, I still did not overcome Rengoku's death and they remind me that? No! Also Senjuro has a really good heart, I like his character. I wanted to slap his father in the face but in the end when he broke into tears, I shed some as well. I'm really interested what will come next in the Entertainment disrtrict. That Tengen seems like a cool guy, although the slapping wasn't necessary, lol. The new OP is really great, I like it a lot! And seeing the animation of the OP it seems like we are going to watch some crazy wild ride. Nice! |

| Now that the Mugen Train arc in anime form has ended, Season 2’s new arc has finally begun with a nice 46 minute long episode, it featured Tanjiro going to Rengoku’s house as I saw people mentioning they wished was included in the Mugen Train anime arc, as well as the introduction of the new Hashira, the Sound Hashira Tengen, and allowing us to dip our toes into the Entertainment District arc, although the intro for the Hashira wasn’t the best first impression due to him kidnapping little girls, but I did like the ass slap on Aoi lol. And last but not least, that OP was very good, as I expected since it’s Aimer, but the visuals were also amazing too. I’m excited to hear the new LiSA ED too, that’ll rock. I’m excited for some brand new Demon Slayer episodes! |
