| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The instrumental GAPsCAPs group of Uta, Shiori and Mako, and this episode is as every bit like Japan's version of American Idol, The X Factor and the like. Quite the diversity between the 3 idol hopefuls of Master, Mistress and Mommy. As expected, Splasoda (the dance group) did deliver on their aforementioned "fanservice" just to reach the 100k Yells requirement with Nagisa's wake-up call prank. It's not easy to surpass Suzune and Rena with their increasing Yells votes, and just as is with every group, there's some tension for mindless character drama. In this case, it's between Uta and Shiori while Mako tries her best to diffuse their differences to prepare within the countdown till performance day, and most certainly avoiding elimination. The matter gets worse to the terribad point of Mako walking out on Uta and Shiori's never-ending conflict, which means that elimination may be imminent for the 3 girls. Be it as it may, the life of an idol is never a bed of roses, and they're in this Selection Project because they want in for the dream, a chance of a lifetime to discover their ownselves. The performance is even more stressful because GAPsCAPs is the last of the 3 groups, and going for a gothic, hard rock look to stand out, it's really considerable for a straight win to move to the next round. OK, so the obvious predictable probability has happened: all 9 girls have successfully defended their positions, what's next? |

| GapsCaps is the group I least liked, but had the coolest presentation. Mako was a hard carry. So Suzune have a scar from a surgery. |

| Nice to see that all of them made it, even though it took some balls and brats to get there. Proud to see Mako step up to bring Shiori and Uta together, cos jeez both of them are insufferable. Well all things are alright, excited to see the 2nd screening. |

| Amazing episode, I ended up liking this pairing of girls more than I thought I would, I love their dynamic of age gaps and how Mako acts as the mother of the group, and quite literally by the end of the episode. I thought for a bit there she was foreshadowing their loss in the first round by saying Uta and Shiori had time to grow as people and try again, but as I originally expected they made it through, and I absolutely loved their performance, song was badass and their outfits were awesome too. Also we need an anime prank show now, I liked that bit lol. |

| So today's team that is perfoming is Uta (Master), Mako (Mommy) and Shiori (Mistress). their team name is GapsCaps which represents the age and personality gaps between them. SplaSoda's wake up call prank also made them get over 100,000 yells therefore meanign they are past the first round. Shiori and Uta are having an argument because Shiori is constantly not happy with her performance. I'm not the biggest fan of Shiori's attitude however as she was wasting quite a bit of time that they could have used to get more yells earlier. Their song was my favourite out of all the groups and they already reached 100,000 yells as soon as the performance was over meaning everyone has passed the first round. CGI was much better than them weird CGI monsters in deep insanity the lost child xD. Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Splasoda's "fanservice" moment to get them over 100k was a wake up prank on Nagisa. You know shit is real when Mako is starting to talk in her own dialect... Not going to lie, she had every right to do so. The other two were bickering far too much. As her nickname suggests, Mommy Mako was pretty much babysitting the other two, just like the rest of her siblings and honestly, the moment she raised her arm, I was actually hoping she would smack that drum set really hard. I really love how at that shrine she carried on that "Mommy" attitude with spanks on both their butts. Mako easily became my favorite character of this show so far. If she fails to move on really early on, I will legit be sad. Performance was great and the CGI once again incredibly good. Didn't expect them to hit 100k+ instantly. So as predicted, no one would fail the first screening. Suzu not wanting to change in the room with the others, which means there's something still visible from a surgery she's had? |

| Mako's amazing. Kept trying to keep the peace but in the end she knew what needed to be done. She's one heck of big sister that's for sure. Yay! Everyone passed the first round... but with 8 episodes left, I wonder how long the next rounds will be. There's quite a few characters that I want to get more fleshed out before they get the boot. (perhaps they'll go the idol company route like Idolmaster?) Oh so Suzune probably did have surgery (trying to hide the scar from everyone?). さすが、マコねえ。 |

| Nice development with Mako in this episode of Selection Project, I’m happy for Oni Mama her~ GAPsCAPs rock band was epic, I loved how cool their getups were and the song was cool Fufu loved how Splasoda’s yells were pushed over the top by a surprise wake up on Nagisa Alas, the first round has ended with everyone going through, what’ll be the next task for them all Anyway, yeah IDOLY PRIDE all over, lets hope they change it up a little though |

| Lol. Looks like the tv crew had a struggle dealing them. Bruh, why GapsCaps? MMM (or OSM (?)) should've been more better. But anyway, that's expected, both were dragging shit really hard, and Mama just couldn't stop saying ma.. ma.. until she realized its not enough to put an end to their fights. As a good mom, ofc she need more than a kind expression, a nice whip should be good enough to put them up into a good shape. Pretty basic case, but its a decent performance, even though there's some sound error on their song, idk. Overall, this episode still fun, tearing my eyes with the oni mom. Enjoyed their dynamic, and, yeah, round two, y'all ready? |

| Great episode! I love Mommy Mako, she was the MVP this episode. I really like each and every girls (though I have trouble remembering their names lmao), so I am gonna be sad once they start dropping like flies. Nagisa with that fanservice strats. The CG still continues too look pretty awesome in the show, probably one of the best CG's if not the best I've see in anime. So, Suzune has a scar from her operation eh. Looking forward to the next episode, I want more Mean Mommy Mako. |

| ... i think this episode has "Full Plot Armor" (It's not a dad's joke, right?) I mean, they never finish the song when training because that Ojo always stops in the middle of training. The mom's preaching didn't reach her teammate's heart from start to end of this episode. The Sensei, I think she has good points to perform before the final for boost yell. But the Ojo be like, FU! I want training for perfect performance. A pointless drama that makes them not sync from the start till the end, No interaction with fans/people for 3 days (other than introducing the group name, this one is a good part), perform live concert with an instrument but no rehearsal, Staff confused. Wearing the robe while carrying the guitar with a strap on their shoulder is a dumb part, removing it is kinda difficult not to mention if it is stuck between strap and robe. The viewer watching them will think what the hell? And why are they wearing the robe anyway? overall, it pretty much fails, you can see from other groups force-clapping for them. But they pass with a huge amount of yell. Is it because they are too Profesional? or 2 members are rich people so maybe their family "buy yells" ? lol And no, can't compare with Suzu & Rena. Rena is the reason why they got an insane amount of yell. Idol world influencer is bigger than the normal world ... at least in the anime world. lol |

| Wow this Mama is creepy. She is the type of psychopath who can kill the whole family with the kitchen knife. Awesome performance, the best of 3 for sure. And they looked really hot in these costumes. I'm in love with ma girl's Shiori singing voice. upd. This is the only song from the whole show that i saved to my playlist. |
