| I wish they did a short summary of the previous season, I don't really remember what last happened. Nonetheless, it was a decent first episode. If I had one complaint is the godawful new opening. One of the best things about season I and II were the epic openings, why did they go this route? |
| I heard this season will be focusing about politics inside the wall so at least its a change of pace compare to last 2 seasons. Now im getting why Ymir said that theres no future inside the wall because of the corrupt higher people that controlling everything. The real enemy on this is this people inside the wall but with eren she said theres possible future inside. I guess thats my hypothesis. Where the fuck did that Kenny came from lol What a start of the season with confusing ep. I didnt like the OP sorry |

| the animation looks off compared to other seasons..Too glossy ,stiff and overly discernible broad facial features etc..It would fit more for a Sol anime.. One of the top wanted personel and they mistook Eren twice and Historia too smh.. Okaish start. |

They change the art style to fit more of the manga art style this season, so that is probably why it looks so different for you. |

| Considering from what I have heard..quite a few manga readers hate this Arc.. Only a Anime watcher but I am kind excited about this Arc..if its focused on the internal strife and we are taking a little detour from the titans I dont mind really as it would help in giving insight into the internal politics that was always prevalent behind all the titans hulahu..this might be a necessary Arc before we delve into the Titan business again.. People have done well to reduce the hype..maybe this will turn out for the best.. |

| Finally started this!!! Love the OP song! Yoshiki and Hyde!! Truly a wonderful combination! Watching this in glorious BD!!! Godlike Animation!! The OP scene is a continuation of the SNK Season 2 Movie Kakusei no Houkou which I just finished a week ago or so. It's crazy how the artstyle is much more mature. Everyone looks older despite the evens of S3 is literally just a few days since the last battle at the end of S2. So now we're dealing with the top people. There's probably gonna be more human fights in addition to Titan ones. Armin with Historia clothes XD Shame, the new red head girl Nifa dies instantly in this episode. I thought she was going to be the next Petra and all. Crazy 1st episode! Let's go! |

| Rewatching Oh hey, look, someone already died for no reason cause why not, it's AoT afterall.... Literally the only reason Nifa(or smth) died was to show how badass kenny is? Nonetheless, good episode and god damn I love how Levi yelled at the ending. Also, this season is 95% focused on politics from what I remember. |

| a solid episode!! started off somewhat lighthearted and became progressively more tense until levi's outburst at the end - probably the most emotion we have seen from him yet. also i do love hange and how astute yet absurd she is not sure how i feel about the opening song, my favourite is still the first one in s1 because it's the most memorable to me. also i like the change in art style, the lines are a lot thinner especially character outlines now to ep 2 :)) |

| Loved this start to season 3. I know a lot of people disliked or hated the Uprising arc but it looks promising so far. I always love the chemistry between Eren and Jean. Their exchanges together are often hilarious. Armin getting touched up by the kidnappers because he looks like a girl was just too funny. He really does look like Historia. Armin the Trap? |
| Great start for the 3rd season, it seems that we are gonna have many reveals and surprises in the upcoming episodes, that Levi moment at the end truly was epic way to end this episode |

| rereading and rewatching the series before it ends and going through the series again i think this might be my favorite of the ops, it’s very bittersweet to me and is sort of a calm before the storm, it highlights the simpler times when they all got to be kids. then again, i am a fan of hyde, season’s call from blood+ by him his one of my fav ops so i’m probably biased |

| Well it's back and they're still fighting like per usual, The OP has a bit of those nostalgic vibes it's alright for me, Eren looked a bit differently from the start Starting off with the muder of Pastor Nick and guessingly those Military corps are so open and obvious about the murder that I'm betting they did it So they stick with disguises I didn't expect them to do that actually, Seeing Mikasa is still as badass from before and a new enemy is rising from the ground a past acquaintance with Levi specifically. |

| this was a good episode. we start with a kind of normal atmosphere,it was nice to see them just cleaning and cooking and not worrying about dying any moment. shit what's wrong with eren now, why is he not able to transform properly? it was scary to look when his face almost became titan like, and hange wanted it to be sketched lol minsiter got tortured and killed sad :( now the show is going on about the politics between the humans, i wonder if we will see any titan action this half. looks like kenny is our main villain for now. poor armin lol, it hurt to watch that. 1 episode in and already 2 people killed. levi going bat shit crazy at the end there looking forward to see levi fight, considering last time we saw him fighting was in season 1 and in no regres ova excited for next episode. |

| Alright finally i've been arriving at the three season. The art style notice to be change, not much in trouble over that, but surely its noticeable at most, especially with Eren huge change on face, Historia not that cute like before, Hange too old, and some other in minor. However, that's not what i've come here. Because i wanna write about the story. Yeah, story, the enemy from behind finally made their move along well with Levi's recovery. Its like a coincidence, because the enemy that sent toward Survey Corps actually an acquaintance from Levi's past. Even everyone from cadet corps now officially become his squad member. Its actually been expected when seeing MP was the military branch behind all that ruckus under those 'capital band' order. Remember Annie ova, and yes. However, its surprising that actually the commander of those MP kinda not knowing whats behind his organization doin under his nose (or am i trippin here?). Erwin on episode 2 obviously trying to talked that out, but seems like everything just ended on there. Poor that pastor, his role just ended there. Poor Hange squad member, especially Goggle-san and red-haired woman, death in instant in a battle. Kenny the Ripper, or later known as Kenny Ackerman, showed his skills quite well with that 3D modified gear in a gun mode. About Ackerman, yes, Levi actually an Ackerman too which make him and Mikasa were a distant cousin. More revealing coming up next. So i need to cut my write there and continue on the second episode. Lets see.... |

| Because I didn't remember Nifa I actually had to look up who it was and found out the script for this episode has been completely different from how it was in the manga!? This really confirms my opinion after season 2... I'm going to keep watching S3 because it at least kept me entertained enough that I wondered how 20 minutes had already passed but it's definitely going to be the last season for me. Filler episodes if the manga does not have enough content are one thing but cutting parts of the story or changing order or rewriting passages is just not right. Same shit happened in season two and it pissed me off to no end there because it seemed so rushed because of it and a lot didn't make any sense until I checked the manga chapters that were covered in that season... Also did the animators change? Eren, Armin and Mikasa looked a bit off I think. I cannot put my finger on it but it definitely looked different than I remembered. |

| Season 1: Action and Hype Season 2: Mystery and Reveals Season 3: Politics and Conspiracy... and KENNNNAAYYYYY Dammit not again. Nifa is a character we've never seen before now, and yet I'm pretty sure we've fallen for her already. But in typical AOT fashion, she has gone bye bye. Come on man. At least let Nifa live through it all. Eren has already been abducted twice, one in each season, so I was groaning inside when it looked like not only he, but Historia as well got captured once again. I thought they were taking extra care this time around to ensure that the two people who could ensure humanity's survival were at least somewhat safe?? But yes I was wrong and they had planned ahead and anticipated the possibilities. Jean the horse once again takes the place as Eren's decoy, and Armin gets to play Historia. Props to Armin to getting felt up in Historia's place lol. However, edit: also idk if this means anything, but episode discussion threads like this for the first season and even the second had upwards of even 20 pages of replies per thread. And yet the first episode to season 3 here only has two?? Did the hype die down around this point, even though fans only had to wait one year-ish (I think) after season 2 as opposed to waiting FOUR years after season one? Idk, just thought that was interesting to point out. |

Omg it's so hilarious Armin vs Jean Ok now no more joking, my mouth can't be closed, who is Kenny? Indiana Jones Deadpool version? Levi has a rival. I haven't even get used to know the female character, Nifa, she died so quickly. The human world is scary. No wonder Reiner and the others wanted to go home. |
