Welp, Kazuya managed to avoid a catastrophe this time and have the kingdom under control.

Lucky guy. He even got the chance to go on a date in the finale with Juna. Looks like they went with a rather peaceful episode for the finale after all the political drama and recent war. Tomoe also looked much more confident compared to the timid character she was first introduced.

Overall, I enjoyed this anime. 8/10

Part 2 announced!

A pretty good contrast where Maria and Kazuya are at odds with their thinking: an idealist vs. a realist.

The war may be over, but Kazuya's reforms is always on 24/7 with the new acclaim of the Principality of Amidonia and its capital, Van integrating into Project Lorelei ASAP.

This finale episode is Poncho flexing the Shokugeki vibes to relieve Van's food problems, and Juna's bodyguard-cum-date time with Kazuya and Tomoe in disguise around the capital. Kazuya getting some advice with the salesman on war council stuff, that leaves food for thought. Getting Tomoe a pair of shoes and Juna a ladybug hairpin for rewarding their efforts of helping him, it's been a good job so far. The last order of business: get gifts for Liscia and the rest too.

Everything is going fine...only except if Maria's older sister of the Gran Chaos Empire's Empress, Jeanne Euphoria didn't show up to disturb their time. But luckily it's to exchange pleasantries of relations of how Kazuya made it this far into the summoning hero-turned-king business, more than the harem plot being singled out to appease the crowned king for laughs. Remember, Kazuya was summoned on a whim, on terms and conditions that were already that bad before he entered in. But look how all that turned out.

Kazuya's gonna face a lot of backlash when facing the Gran Chaos Empire, and we'll explore that in Season 2. For now, protect Amidonia and Elfrieden.

But still, the anime is paltry compared to the LN. Just read the LN for God's sake while waiting for Season 2 in Winter 2022.

This was a rather peaceful finale for this show especially coming into this new country after the war that just ended. Tomoe also got her share of screentime in this episode. Kazuya going out with Juna. I'm pretty sure in Kazuya and his tactics to handle every possible situation that rises either in favor of him or against him. Liscia is still my favorite girl in this show. Also, I wonder if Kazuya's gonna end up marrying all of them or not. LOL

Overall, I'm gonna say, definitely enjoyed this show. It was actually a breath of fresh air in the same old boring genre of Isekai having the same stories. A different take on the genre itself, and a good one on top of it. Season 2 has been announced. Definitely looking forward to that.

And so the first part of the journey of our reharemalist hero comes to a shocking conclusion ... he won. Now that the kingdom is saved, enemies slaughtered, men enslaved, women banged and wedded. What awaits our hero in the next chapter of his journey ?

Do we really want to find out tho ? But you know, with how cheap this first season was i'm not surprised that the second is right around the corner.

Yeah this is where the harem part truly begins but well I'm more interested in the "war" and political/economic side which was really impressive in this show but too bad the anime is kinda meh compared to the original LN or even the manga adaptation, especially for the weak animation, but still an enjoyable anime overall.

Well as someone who has read 8 volumes of the novel i have to say that i knew a second season was coming from the moment the anime was announced there is just way to much material to cover with just one season.

Anyway the episode was pretty close to what the novel did and on that note to anime followed it pretty nicely in general, yes there where things that could be done differently and there where things skipped but i can't complain.

I was just waiting for the moment the princess showed up to see what would happen but their conversation ended nicely.
Also the shop part was great.

The way they introduced Jeanne made it seem like she was here to declare war or something, but, it was just for some banters about MC's deeds and his rapidly growing harem.

A really refreshing anime, and especially considering it is an Isekai. Of course, it's nothing stellar, or never before seen type of anime. But regardless, it still managed to get me interested in the plot. MC was really putting in the work, with all the things he managed to do for the kingdom. Funny considering how said kingdom only summoned him so he could be sold to the empire for the kingdom's sake. Speaking of the empire, we finally got to know a bit more about who runs the show, with the introduction of Jeanne and Maria. No just have to wait for the next season, to see how the negotiation they mentioned will go.

7.00/10.

This anime actually met my low expectations, during the first few episodes I thought this was gonna be really generic and boring, but after some episodes I found it to be quite a unique isekai with an interesting plot, unfortunately the animation wasn't the greatest, I can see that J.C. Staff was doing the best with what they could.
Well now that we have season 2 announced I hope it improves the quality.

This anime is alright. It's a very in-depth isekai that actually makes sense. I would say that it's a step below Overlord with it's focus of building an empire. However, everything after that is average. I just kept watching it just cuz.

It was a fun season i read it in the manga and see it come to life is something else... Shame that they stopped the season here but maybe also a good thing otherwise they needed to speed run the next set of events.

That was a good watch. To end a series with good vibes are greatly appreciated.

Lucky! So Kazuya dated Juna who is a babe... I'm envious! and especially at the last ep... with our fluffy little sister, kawaii!! So cute and adorable the moment she wore that outfit earlier!

I actually expected more from this series since I was inspired from the previous episodes, I didn't know the progress would be so brutally straightforward with only so little romanticism...

If there's a 2nd season, I might watch it... It was good but weren't that great since the last episode animation feels sloppy.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Nice relaxing epilogue for the whole civil war arc, I couldn't complain about more screentime for Tomoe cant i?

Now we're really delving more into the political relationships of the nations with the introduction of the royalty sisters oooohhh. Will definitely watch S2 as it airs on Jan 2022 and my wish is to somewhat see the Demon country or whatnot

The date with Juna was fun and Tomoe was cute. Jeanne and Souma's conversation was amusing. Kinda looking forward to their negotiation.

Decent first season, just wish the production was better. Looking forward to s2.

Being the leader of the largest kingdom can't be easy. Maria has both brains and beauty it seems. The saint of the empire is an apt name. Its unfortunate that the first encounter between Souma and the empire is the situation involving Van though. Looks like Souma's usage of the performance ended up awakening the desire of the people of Van to innovate. The people sure bounced back pretty quickly. Looks like their former king was pretty hated. Somehow i wanted to see what Tomoe's negotiation with the monkeys will be like. The day out with Juna and Tomoe though sure was cute. If we didn't know better it was almost a family's day out. The convo with Jeanne though sure was amusing though it showed well her concern for her sister. The truth about the hero summoning sure was dark but i guess without it the empire would have been in a difficult position. Overall an excellent finale that featured a nice combo of relaxation for Souma and co while also laying the groundworks for a sequel via Jeanne and Roroa's entry into the story.

Souma certainly accomplished many things during his time in this world. Its nice that things come full circle in this first season with them bringing back up the fact that Souma was meant to be a human sacrifice for the kingdom to the empire. Finally meeting the faces behind the empire, whom control so much of the continent. Now that Souma has occupied on of their allies capitals the empire must negotiate its return. But honestly with how the people are responding to this new found freedom I don't think things can ever return to how they were. Souma is more buried in his work than before but many exciting things to come.

I very much loved this new isekai. Realist Hero gave me exactly what I wanted from it. A more methodical and strategic kind of isekai. With a hero who's less focused on fighting himself but moving the chess pieces around to ensure victory. Souma is no fighter but he's got that warrior spirit. He strives to keep his new kingdom and family safe from danger. There is many problems in this world like any other but Souma is well equipped to deal with those problems.

He faced many trials this first season from solving a food shortage to building a whole new city to dealing with natural disasters to setting up better infrastructure to fighting off invaders to capturing a whole capital city and defeating generals at their own game. Its all been awesome to see. This show surprised me every episode with how smart and well thought out the writing is. Many times I would marvel at how Souma pulled things off and be astounded I never thought of the situation that way. On top of a great cast which I've enjoyed spending time with the writing was very strong. Excited to see more in season 2 next January!

Clothes shopping and briefly meeting emissaries from the empire to close part 1. Well geez, I was about to say that while I found this series alright it was definitely too boring by the end to ever watch a season 2. And now I see it's getting a season 2! Or season 1 part 2 or however you want to classify it. Geez, I dunno...maybe, and I mean maybe I'll watch it in January. If Winter '22 is a really lite anime season for me and I'm just THAT bored. But I dunno. Guess we'll see. 6/10

Kazuya's busy with work after surviving the grand war. The empire is after his ass now but seems like it'll go fine. A pretty laid back episode. Juna was absolutely adorable this episode and Tomoe was cute as hell. It was pretty wholesome and relaxing until Jeanne arrived. The sister of the saint, an capable warrior who will negotiate with Souma in the future. The plot is going in an interesting direction and it'll be do or die. The empire is not a simple opponent.

It was an pretty interesting anime with a great maincharacter who managed to focus on his main role instead of forming a grand harem in 13 episodes. The animation and art style were pretty average-normal which didn't really bother me. The side characters were great, can't lie about that. Most of them were pretty useful and had a role in the anime. The OP and ED were pretty good.

7/10

Give me the anime where that food taster is the protagonist. I'm not afraid to say that I'm not fond of fat fictional character, but he is the exception. All of his moment is gold, food broadcast is emerging as the new concept from hundreds of isekai story. And it's too bad that this anime focus on war instead of yummy things, you can't eat war!

Ending it off with some nice SOL vibes.

I'd say I liked it overall. Not too versed in the anime's topic but I found it quite interesting, like Log Horizon. Bit harem-ish but I wasn't bothered too much by it compared to other anime.

Looking forward to next season, would like to see more about the other empires and especially the dark territory

The last episode was a chilled out one, Souma got the chance to spend some time with Juna and Tomoe. Will be interesting to see Souma's Realism against Maria's Idealism.

Was a fine one and quite enjoyed it too, but it could've been much better, now looking forward for that second season in January.

That little date of Juna and Soma was great. I love Juna so much haha.

Those rumors about Soma I guess are not so far from being true haha. I love how Juna jumped into the conversation xD. Other than that, the meeting was interesting and friendlier than I expected. I guess we'll have to wait for the second cour to see what's next for them.

Liscia's pout was adorable. Good for Soma for having gifts for her whole "family".

And so it ends. This is one of those shows that you realize could have benefited from having more episodes but I still liked it a lot. Pretty fun show that focused on things other than the action with likable MC and girls.

I'm glad for that surprise second cour and looking forward to it.

7 ... or 8? Haven't watched a lot this season and Fumetsu no Anata (boring 2nd half) and 100-man S2 (repetitive in this 2nd season) turned out to be less good. Only 2 other besides this one left that also seem 7-ish.

Going with an 8 here. (7.5 rounded up.) Though some of the previous episodes felt boring. The SoL stuff could be a bit shortened imo. I only read the first few chapters of the novel volume 1 - there it was okay. But in the anime I want straighter focus on the politics.

No adventure thing with the doll. Also the rescue part in the dark elf forest was boring a bit.
Last 2-3 episodes were better again. Bit slow. But good.

Pretty chill finale, with most of the episode being the date with Juna-san and stroll with Tomoe-chan. An inevitable confrontation in the making, judging from the final moments of the episode, but honestly the series has been average for me so I'm not sure if I'll keep up to see when that drops in the upcoming season.

Not enough Liscia moments this episode but that pout out of jealousy was quite good, lol. I was expecting some kind of indication in this regard but welp.

One thing I'll surely be missing from the anime is the ED theme, though. Yeah, that was a great song!

5/10 from me. It's like 6 am at my place now and I can't of things to say anymore so I'll just cut it short here and get some sleep.

The first scene introduced two beautiful potential waifus. I hope both of them will end up with Kazuya XD.

I just love the interactions between Kazuya and Juna. Juna showed her beautiful clingy side to Kazuya and it was just precious 😍 Tomoe looked so cute as well. They were like a family shopping together. Thankfully, Kazuya also bought gifts for his harem. Pouting Liscia was also adorable haha. Anyway, looking forward to the next season.

Damn I loved this anime. I think this was a good episode for Juna. Usually I dislike any other love interests and just settle for one but I think they all genuinely deserve to be with Souma. (I like Aisha the best)

This anime overall was very good in my opinion. It stood out in the Isekai genre because there was a lot of political and war talk throughout the series. Where as in many other Isekai it's just "Power level power level, fan service fan service, time leap, non-sense" But this one i felt like you had to pay close attention each and every week to realize what was going on (which at the end of the day was pretty fun) This and Moonlit Fantasy were the two best Isekai of the season and maybe of the year so far.

Man I don't know if I could put one above the other, they were on equal footing.

8.4/10 anime overall

Well that explains why I didn't get the impression this would be the final episode, cause S2 already coming out in Winter 2022.

Those blondes at the start are a feast for the eyes, they could have an interesting role for S2. Especially since the warrior lady Jeanne did meet and have a chat with Kazuya.

After the last few episodes, this definitely felt like the calm after the storm. A pretty laid-back episode to close of the season as Juna was getting more clingy with Kazuya.

Overall it was a fun show, something I haven't seen a lot of before, but the few I have seen were definitely better than Realist Hero. Not the best Isekai this season, but still good enough for a solid passing grade. 7/10 from me. Can't wait to see Kazuya's Harem grow in Season 2.

Keep watching. Poncho actually has quite the plotline. If you think Souma has a lot of women trying to marry him, think again! The most desirable bachelor in this story is Poncho.

Admittedly, a spinoff focusing on Poncho's food show and the repercussions would be good, too.

Indeed the Tomoe, Juna & Souma 'family' that he vows to protect is cute.
Talk with Jeanne decent but hints at challenging talks ahead.
Nice family time, tho Tomoe lacks screentime, with mostly rushed episodes. Decent amount of econ/politics & worldbuilding tho, rather good adapt jcstaff finally made.

we got a hero came from the another world solve the economic crisis, win the war, assemble the pretty girl and make an entertainment in the new world,
all the enemy just look like an idiot nor the ally and the princess nothing really smart here, make it very EZ plot ever, even the slice of life anime become more interesting than this,,

I was hoping they would at least have negotiated, instead we got yet another episode were they spend time dating and walking around on the street, this anime hates giving screen time to its main plot doesn't it? Feels like the main plot gets 1/3rd of the screen time.
Massive waste of opportunity IMO, what attracted me to this anime was the nation building and geopolitics, not the unremarkable romance. I don't think I will watch season 2, the pacing is so bad it feels like I am wasting my time.

So the hero summoning reason was a bit more complex. Was bothered a bit with how easily he was found by the empire considering he was disguised enough for no one in the city to recognize him. I'd expect some kind of a spy or an informant involved but I feel that that is a little too much depth to expect from this show.

Overall found it fairly interesting and looking forward to the next season. Hopefully more development on the demon territory and what is going on there instead of exotic foods from different nations.
