| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I think it's kinda neat they got an Egyptian theme group in this arc. On the other hand, there's Lyserg who is on a completely different level. Oh and I think it's pretty cool to see Iron Maiden Jeanne in the second round and she's definitely no pushover. |

| Well good that Boz turned over a new leaf because of Chocolove, but their reactions are kinda funny though. Ryu having to lose his signature hair...that can only mean one thing: Lyserg. Match 2 of the Shaman Fight: the X-Laws's top team with Lyserg, Marco and the Iron Maiden Jeanne vs. Niles Egyptian guys. But more like a 1 vs. 3 unfair fight of justice that Lyserg resorts to murder without plaintiffs, and Hao won't back out from such simple mere insults. To see Lyserg with such regret, the Iron Maiden Jeanne won't allow such atrocity of behaviours, and shows herself full of blood and mana for stock. HOLY MOLY Jeanne's a Saint through and through, and her Oversoul Shamash IS NO JOKE. She may very well be a potential to be the next God-tier Shaman King with all that gore and bloodbath. Now this is what you call a Shaman Fight. To. The. Death. |

| I laughed out loud when Jeanne threw herself at Lyserg. Her self-inflicted suffering seems pretty pointless, overall. A lot of evil still happens in the world. I wonder if that pointless struggle is the point of her character. Ryu continues to be weird whenever he sees young boys and girls. |

| i usually would hate all this overpowered assassination stuff like Jeanne or Hao do, but tbh, Jeanne is probably the best character (outside of Yoh/Anna) in this anime for me ... not that it's hard, since i'm only watching this cause i liked it as a kid and i don't really know if it would even be in my top 15 seasonals lol |

I'm still unclear on whether she knows this or legitimately thinks that torturing herself is helping others. Tbh she seems more interesting than 99% of the characters in this show, so I don't mind. |
| Out of all the Shaman King episodes I watched this one had to be the most brutal one. This Iron Maiden Jeanne's power is no joke. Though I understand of having to kill. But doing extreme evil to fight evil will bring more problems later down the road. |

| Wow, I had forgotten how brutal Jeanne's introduction was. So nice to finally see these moments animated. I know the 2001 anime did a loose adaptation of this fight, but there are little things about that version that irk me, while this was way better. |
| Finally arrived, watching all the times in the ending was a good introduction, to this one of the three best episodes until now. (The other two wear Horohoro fighting to protect the bear, and The Chocolove Story). Iron Maiden Jean and his blood rain was very good, they quit the ending to give it more time, for she can forgive the other two opponents, but they refused to be forgiven, and have no option to kill them using two different attacks of his over soul. The best part that surprised me was when Iron Maiden Jean appears on the scene, and Yoh shout it's a girl and is NAKED! XD, and Anna hits him very hard, i laughs a lot on that (think it was original of tv, don't remember that in the manga). If you see in details "Ponchy and Conchy" (Ren and Stimpy) where "censored" because they were wearing diapers instead of with their limbs in the air, like them more this way. The personality of Lyserg Diethel was changed to a psycho serial killer, it's fits him well. (Sadly they don't change the fact that Morphy stop at the last time it will be a better pot twist if not). It was good when Anna say oh this is really a overpower furyouky, and she grabs his accessory. |

| Yay! Best girl has finally arrived! The original anime censored the fuck out of these scenes so this was definitely interesting to see. I love how Jeanne's voice sounds kinda pouty when those guys refuse her mercy before she kills them. And of course she looks simply amazing in this new animation. 10/10 episode. |

| Not gonna lie, I love Jeanne already. She's brutal without being edgy and I kinda empathize with her extreme sense of justice. Not to mention she's also a cutie~ |
| Goddamn, Jeanne. She's really brutal, she definitely just sees the world as black and white, good and evil, nothing in between. I really like how Yoh reacts to all these things though, straight to the point. I saw that coming with Lyserg, I thought what his guardian spirit would think about him now. But, he still has doubts. Really looking forward to finding out more about Hao as well. |

Someone already explained for Iron Maiden, you'll see about Hao. i know they explained her pain and how she levels up (i didn't think about it while watching the episode, but it made it more interesting)... i mean she (and Lyserg) even gave them a chance to leave but they were stupid but that doesn't change the fact that i usually don't like those super op characters, unless it's for fun (like the demon lords and stuff like that, where they usually don't even kill anyone), because in games (like LOL), i don't like getting one shot by an enemy without any chance of defending myself :D |

| god damn every time they switch to Marco, i just love the man voice so much. Nakamura Yuuichi voice so EPIC! Okay Iron Maiden Jeanne, that was brutal AF. no wonder she sounds so familiar, it's Hanyu from Higurashi. |

| Lyserg's well within the X-Laws now and in his first fight, he's with their own leader. Jeanne constantly being tortured and suffering really adds to the religious zealotry of the X-Laws, a messianic figure. Though instead of referring to the Ten Commandments, she incorporates the older code of Hammurabi. |

| I thought that lyserg was messed up, but jean the maiden is much more messed. to call everyone who's gonna go in their way as evil is not justice. Either way, i feel the pace was kinda off compare to previous episodes. but probably because it's non-yoh's gang battle? |
