Almost feels like a cat and mouse game for Kumoko. No doubt, Ariel is the biggest threat of her life.

It looks like Kumoko's popularity is showing no signs of stopping but also becomes a target by almost everyone. Not sure how I feel about that Guily guy but it might not be a bad idea to become his ally than his enemy.

How dare those bastards try to house Kumoko. Ignorant fools. They got what they deserve. LOL. She's having the fun of a lifetime. Seeing her happy just brings a smile to my face. She's so cute for a spider.

She still isn't comfortable with talking to others, you can tell just by her tone that she's shy of talking to others. She's grown so strong. It's crazy to even think about it. That guy who came up in front of Kumoko looks strong as well. Might just not mess with him for now. Also, looks like a war is coming this country's way. Will Kumoko help them defend it? We'll see.

Got to see Teacher Filimos' past and how she decides to do what she did. It's sad to see that she had so many tough choices to make just to end up being hated by her every student in the end. I feel bad for her.

The Nightmare of the Labyrinth-cum-Divine Beast Kumoko is literally getting more worshipped and targeted...and puny humans can't stop her advances. Oh the evil clichés of officials from rival kingdoms.

Havng to take care of the fruits blessings and the baby bloodsucker vampire Sophia's life, all while tracking the Demon Lord Ariel's progress in the Lower Stratum, it's a cat-and-mouse chase of Kumoko. For an administrator of Ariel's to come forth towards her to cease the attack on the Demon Lord, since the latter was the one that striked first, Kumoko is in a 50/50 chance to do what she pleases...as is the warning of not speaking to humans...? NOPE, all has been foreshadowed by her Taboo powers, and there's no stopping the concurrent events.

Haha, Kumoko serving just desserts to her enemies with her Clairvoyance and Evil Eye feels satisfying. But while her actions may have just triggered a big war between the small nation and the Kingdom of Ohts, it's no matter if EXP earned is for a probable cause.

No matter what Oka-sensei a.k.a Filimos may have done since her reincarnation into the elves village, even from her own life experiences before reincarnation, you can't deny that her unique skill of "Student Roster" was a pivotal factor in her growing-up years of judgment to keep everyone safe, by hook or by crook and piecing the entire class together in one piece, dead or alive, as a teacher who's done both good and bad.

The finale's about to come with the huge war from all sides.

We’re definitely starting to move towards the finale of the season and I’m sad because things are really becoming peak. Kumo desu took a while to get going, but once it did, it really did.

Kumoko not thinking things through looks to have started a war, this can’t end well. I’m glad we got to hear sensei’s inner thoughts, because she was kinda sus to me for the past few weeks. At least now I know she had good intentions. Knowing when and how your students will die can’t be easy to deal with. Don’t think telling Poitmas was a good idea, tho. I’m also looking forward to Hugo and Shun’s eventual confrontation.

Kumoko met a new administrator... and she can't stop her attacks on Ariel because she can't contact her other alternate mind.
And she even triggered a war now with killing that other stupid dude hahaha, well it's sure going to be interesting anyway.
Also nice development/backstory for the teacher, her ability is cool but she sure suffered a lot...
That post-credit scene is full hype, they've been teasing for so long xD

And Kumoko started a war, time for her to gain more exp lol.

Oka chan's backstory finally and damn it's pretty harsh on her. She can't even tell her students the truth.

War in this side of the story is also about to start. I wonder if Kumoko will finally make her appearance.

War broke out because she killed the porky guy lol. Well deserved!
Seems like the teacher is struggling with her thoughts, everyone hates her because she took them away from their parents/home.
Can't wait for the mass murder next ep!

Really glad that Oka 1 got adapted to give some proper build up, especially after the anime completely ignored Katia's arc and apparently they undid last episodes post credits with Ariel oneshotting Gakia when the battle took much longer, hope that with the next episode being entirely in the future time they'll adapt the happenings before the battle including what the interludes that preceded O1 including the second to last one from volume 4, don't think it will wrap it up entirely (at least they shouldn't)

Excellent episode, kumo-chan learning the language of that world is interesting, also for some reason now she can talk to the Dragon Administrator Guri-Guri

They left it in the most interesting part, although I am not complaining, they showed the story of Oka sensei and that is enough to leave the subject of the war for the next episode, or the one that follows due to the title of the next episode lol

Hoping we get to see the Kumoko vs Allied forces at some point over just left with the ominous timeskip of her tree that shows things went to shit for them.

The scene showing Hugo in armour coupled with the post-credits scene shows that the armies weren't completely annihilated (shame as I wanted Kumoko to make Rimuru's 20,000 soldieer slaughter seem trivial), but were clearly taken under control somehow.

I'm also guessing that Sophia may not be the Lord's daughter now...that or she bit the butler at some point. Either way, he is definitely giving off vampire vibes when he was shown at the end.

Glad to finally get some story on Sensei's actions this time and why she's been acting how she has. However, she has incredibly naive and focused way too much on trying to alter her students' futures herself. While she can't speficially tell them about the student roster skill, rewording her reasons would have llikely been a lot better than giving the students the silent treatment. While not quite on Kumoko's level...she's done fucked up :P

Huge setup for the end of the anime with this episode! We have two big battles coming in both of the timelines. Kumoko being overzealous with killing that douche envoy played right into that country's hands wanting a war. Now their alliance force has marched right up to where she is. Kumoko facing a huge army like that will be pandemonium, she's gonna have to pull all the stops. Ariel might show up too and mix things up. Then in the present Hugo and Sophia bring an equally large force to assault on the elf forest and their classmates. These last couple episodes will be crazy! Excited to see these all out battles and how they will end the show.

Wait, the student roaster telling the future of the student. If its really happen later in the anime, then that will be an original story for anime. Because in novel is still cliffhanger. (the elf war in novel is in vol. 5, even the latest one, vol. 11, still not continue the story)

I kinda hope if the anime really show the elf war story until the end.

Well it would be a typical villain trope if she actually couldn’t see the future but in this case she could so whatever she did do was her version of being a good teacher. Even though all reincarnations got a fresh start in the new world and no one owed anyone to save each other, she still decides against forsaking her students. The only contention is her taking a gamble and asking for Potimas’ help who upon realising the potential of reincarnations saw this as an opportunity to further his own goals so far.

They really swapped to human side at the worst possible time. On the other hand I kinda liked what we saw there. And that very last scene... human guy from town Kumoko is staying in right now - I think that meant he is working with Ariel now? Would make sense considering Sophia. If so current events in spider timeline might actually be what links them to the future. Hopefully timelines "merge" before anime ends.

Because as far as we know, elves who kill the students are the ones who are saving them.

If her (another overpowered self-insert) skill shows the present day, those children most likely died at childbirth due to high infant mortality in the world with no health care. Abducting them would make things even worse.

If her skill shows the future, then it is a self-fulfilling prophecy and she killed them instead, directly or indirectly.

I actually rewatched the scene and ...

Also, deaths were under the "future" folder, seemingly, and the cause of death was "stripped of skills" in one case, while the teacher is the only person who can strip people of skills.

Another death was in the battle of Elf forest which at the time of the teacher reading it didn't happen.

It is or looks like, a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Honestly, didn't want to go that deep in the rabbit hole(the paradox) as her skill had barely any explanation as far as how accurate it is or if she can change the future. Just from an ethical point her way of thinking is very messed up and I was surprised how some people here felt her actions were justified.

I can see how more information could possibly change my mind on this, but so far she is in a very very wrong as far as I am concerned.

In episode says that she was able to change the timing and circumstances of death for some of the students. So we can say that someone should have died very early, if not for her intervention. So, no matter how ambiguous her methods are, the lives saved justify it.

Although, of course, there was no right choice in any case.

The show tries to make her sympathetic, but I certainly do not sympathize with her at all.
Not only she does ethically dubious things, she is also a moron, mostly acting like a child when she should be an adult, and even her desire to keep the class alive doesn't make any sense when she, and all the kids, act like a harem comedy in a life threatening situations.

Really loved the timeskip of our spiders tree. From full of greenery to basically nothing left 15 years later, and then we're at the human side again.

Porky was supposed to come back and forth between Kumokos tree and the mansion. Claiming ownership of her and demanding her to follow him. Screaming at her below her beloved tree. Not just once but many times and definetively not in front of the other masses. They change quite a lot in this adaption but I like it anyways.

So, if anyone asks Guily was talking to Kumoko through telepathy, Kumoko wasn't speaking, she's a spider she can't do that. Some parts of the conversation were missing, but we can go back to that later.

And XP farming, err, I mean, war! Not only that we finally took a peak at the taboo contents which today's episode made clear that it is a major source of motivation for Kumoko. It was only a glimpse of it, but it's something to keep in mind

Wooooo! Kumoko triggers a disaster!
Oka-sensei unknowingly triggers a disaster as well!

At least everyone can see why Oka-sensei took the route she did.
I don't think using telepathy and trusting whoever shows up is a good idea since the deaths were mostly ~20 years in the future. She should've tried growing up for 3-5 years to see whether she could trust those around her first. She could've been born to bandits for all she knew.

Yes! potentially, but that's something included on the n%I=W skill, so non reincarnation humans (or monsters) do not heal in any way when they level up.
But there's also the thing about human physiology being less forgiving to being severed than, let's say, an arachnid. So, even if they would heal completely with regrowing limbs and everything, there's no healing if they can't survive until leveling up.
