| Wish that Hibari lady would have appeared sooner. Her interactions with Tatsu were quite amusing. Overall, pretty good source material but awful "anime" adaptation. Comedy and voice acting redeemed it from having a worse score but the decision of turning the project into a sort of motion manga with sound was plain terrible. "Artistic" decision? More like J.C.Staff being J.C.Staff at wanting to produce as many lifeless adaptations as possible per year. 4/10 |
| Apalling subs as expected from Netflix, but otherwise fantastic show. Rival leaderette and former boss were especially cutesy and wholesome, a cast fit for a finale. Looking forward to the sequel. |

| I absolutely love this show. I don't care about the animation, or lack thereof, I think it works. The jokes are hilarious, and the show is just overall very enjoyable. I gave it a 9/10. It's great. I can't wait for Season 2. |

| My favorite part was Tatsu former Boss scene... That was a good one. Tsuda-san voice Carrying this Anime tbh, that's the reason why I'm interested in. Animation not a problem for me, i think this unique style match perfectly for Gag Manga. It's okay Season 1, sadly it just 5 Episodes. 6/10 Can't wait for Season 2, hopefully more episodes and normal 24 min length Episode. |

| okay even though that ending clip was funny with the cat, this season should've finished one clip earlier with the yakuza boss that would've been perfect this show was so funny and the style made it so unique i cant believe there was only 5 episodes there better be more next season on 2nd thought i might just read the manga so i can watch it animated in this style so i can see it panel by frame |

| As someone who has not read the manga, I thought it was good. Animation was horrible but I think it has his charm. I laughed a lot watching this anime and the OST was great. I think this would be an amazing anime if it had better animation, but fr now, I'd say it was just good. I'm interested in reading the manga now ^-^ 68/100 |

| Seriously, animation and artwork were absolutely TERRIBLE. It looked so freaking lazy... My first red flag for that was when I saw the first promo image. I thought it looked a bit cheap in comparison to the manga but I thought it was too soon to judge... Boy, I did not expect this at all. The manga is not only far superior when it comes to art but it's also way funnier (not only visually but the adaptation of some scenes weren't that effective imo). However, I won't be rating it too low because I love the story, it still made me laugh and the voice acting was perfect (especially TsudaKen, he nailed it!) |

| This was unexpectedly a really fun watch for me! A cute and unique premise with good comedy. Even though it’s mostly a “slideshow”, the way it’s presented feels like it somehow helps with the comedic timings. And of course the VA killed it, well done Kenjiro. The episodes are so wholesome! |

| I think this "anime" receives too much unnecessary hate... and I blame it on Netflix. From what I've heard this show was conceived as a motion manga. It was never intended to be an anime but western Netflix decided to call it an "anime" for marketing anyway. Blatant false advertising. The creator of the manga was also okay with this. I really enjoyed watching this. I think the artwork could've been better in some places but for a literal moving manga with voice acting it was pretty good and I thought it was funny af. It's also pretty short so it doesn't overstay its welcome. It's very easy to finish it in one sitting. Definitely way better than Record of Ragnarok which was indeed a disaster. |

| I read the manga a while ago before it got an anime adaption. I can't remember a manga where I laughed so frequently page to page from the hilarious comedy. I suppose some moments could arguably have more depth to the overall scene with extraordinary animation in comparison to this faithful panel style from the manga, but I feel it's completely fine as is because the spirit of the manga lives through this anime adaption regardless of the lacking animation. I watched the Japanese and English cast simultaneously. For the most part the original was superior from the few miscast and lackluster dialogue delivery from some of the English voice actors, but nonetheless they're both good. ... Of course, the concept of a former yakuza being a loving househusband who's very skilled in chores and cooking is hilarious while he keeps his character mannerisms of a delinquent who seems intimidating, with a surprisingly clumsy strong tomboy wife. Along with the funny cast of other former yakuza/delinquents, housewives, and strangers or kids being afraid of him from impression. A very enjoyable experience as the manga is. 8/10. Looking forward to Part 2. |
| Miku truly is the opposite of Tatsu especially on the household chores department. Even though he had to basically prepare his own birthday party still wholesome to see him having a wife and friend who care about him. |

| That was pretty funny, short episodic skits of a Yakuza househusbands daily life. The "power point presentation" is a trivial problem in my eyes, 7/10 for a quick laugh. |

| Creativity backfires too and this is one such time it did. Manga PV animation style didn't suit the series and ultimately hindered the fun, though not to some lengthy extent for me, as the VA's made up for the most part with their timings. Wising we see more of Ane-san in the second part, as kinda see some parallels between her and Tatsu. 6/10. |

| honestly even though I said in the first episode I found the animation unbearable, after sticking through these five episodes I've kinda gotten used to it and the show overall actually grew on me lmao decent 6/10, definitely watched funnier things before but I would be lying if I said I didn't somewhat enjoy it |
