| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is pretty cool. We got classic Gridman style mech action and a lot of lives are changed on this faithful day. Even from this first episode, there's a mech in combat piloted by Gauma going up against a monster in the city. He actually seems like a pretty tough guy but I'm curious how the anime will develop his character. But yeah, I think this is a pretty cool start. Out of all the cast, Gauma is one to keep a close eye on. |

| The Gridman Tokusatsu universe is back once again from Tsuburaya Productions and Trigger, and the same production staff from Gridman (which shouldn't be a surprise). A different storyline with Dynazenon, yet those character designs feel right back at home (if you've watched SSSS.Gridman). Although at first impressions, the characters are eerily similar to their counterparts in Gridman, but that's definitely not the case. Yep, it certainly did not take long for a Kaiju to show up and wreak havoc, and there goes the classic Gridman sequence with monster tamer Gauma at the helm. The OST by returning artists Masayoshi Ooishi and Maaya Uchida will take some getting used to, it's sad that both "Union" and "Youthful Beautiful" ARE JUST TOO GOOD and memorable on their own. Overall, a fine showing for a premiere episode. |

| Damn, those 36 1s is certainly impressive. Anyway, loved this episode. The dynamic between Guama and our main boy looks like it will be very fun. Like how much is different from the original series in terms of pure story. Was worried they might get lazy and bring in another bland boy with no memory but thankfully, that did not happen. The new guys look like fun, the mech looks sick as shit, the editing and camerawork looks fantastic as always, the animation looks a bit different from the original but I dig it. Also, was I the only when they saw the hot dog, one of the original characters would show up but I was sadly wrong. Still a great episode though. Can't wait to see what happens when they wake up tomorrow. |

| This was an okay start. I like Yomogi and Gauma but I dun like Yume for now. Also she has a weird habit which she proly developed from a trauma. The reason she breaks promise is proly related to that short flashback we saw. Yume proly made some sort of promise with the dead girl/boy but since he/she died they couldn't keep the promise and thus Yume is always breaking promise with others. Anyway I like Chise, she's amusing and Koyomi seems fine too. The mecha/Dynazenon design looks very cheap and I dun like it at all. It looks like a megazord from power rangers and just like those this also needs to be controlled by several people. Thou the dragon form was kind of cool. Also I dun like how Chise wasn't onboard the Dyanazenon, I hope she also gets in next time. The ED was pretty cool. |

| when the teacher mentioned asceticism and hedonism and how that looks very much like the same classroom, it felt like the show will tackle about the youth lacking desire to do anything in life (because adults like him controlled the youth like robots aka their own doing). but then BATTLE AGAINST GODZILLA FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!! I dunno what to think of this show yet. |

| YES! Finally, ep1 of SSSS Dynazenon. The cast of characters looks identical to the ones in Gridman but with a little bit of a color change. We got some Dynazenon action in the first episode! The soundtracks sound pretty nice. Minami and Gauma seem like interesting characters with traits more than meets the eye. Pretty good first episode. I can't wait to see more! |

| Yume is an interesting one. Stood up every boy she made arrangements with. Must have her reasons for that. Maybe it's related to the person we saw who passed on or the pendant she is holding. Ah, the Kaiju designs are really cool! Can't say the same for the mech though, didn't appeal to me. |

| Bro Trigger honestly need to just keep focusing on and doing Tsuburaya shows. This already is off to an even better start than Gridman. Dynazenon T rex mode and final attack was awesome! I can see me growing to love Minami just as much as Rika, stocking appeal to a fetish as well. Good shit Trigger. Love the Uchida Maya ED as well. Dynazenon and Kong v Gojira this week. Kaiju fans eating. |

| Of course nothing was going to be clear from the first episode, lol. With that said though, the directing, character designs and dialogue stood out to me mostly in positive light. Yume-chan's got a pretty interesting rumour going, I wonder what's the real story behind all the disappearances. Definitely giving off lowkey vibes of Akane-chan from Gridman. Gauma, on the other hand, could make for an entertaining sidekick/protagonist. SENPAI, are you alive? xD. These two are definitely going to be fun to watch. Similar melodies and voice of course from the Op, definitely suits the show. Good to see Uchida Maaya-san return for the ED theme as well. Why change a winning combo, am I right? |

| the main girl name is Yume that means Dream in japanese so ye might be she is dreaming the whole thing again just like Akane something is wrong with her for real the action is nice, but im still not a fan of this directors slow pace storyboarding or storytelling although he got a very good animation direction for sure SSSS does not mean Special Signature to Save a Soul this time huh Scarred Souls Shine like Stars  |

| This first episode matches a lot of the same beats of Gridman. It's almost too similar in execution thus far. But it still has a lot of room to spread its wings and become something of its own. That said, some of the visual stuff didn't live up to what we saw in Gridman. There were a couple shots of crowds that were static. And the action didn't flow quite as well as what we saw in Gridman. Granted, Gridman was a human-like machine (in structure) fighting monsters, while Dynazeon is a... Dinosaur? So I suppose Dinosaur fighting styles are to be different from human-like ones. Regardless, this is gonna be something I keep up with this season. Even if it's a carbon copy of Gridman or a lesser version of it, it'll still be worth watching. |
