| Hoo boy, this one is going downhill quickly. Everything about the first half of the episode was easily predictable. Langa gets dejected, Reki cheers him on, langa wins. I will give it props for the second half though, I didn't expect Adam to literally whack a guy with his board. He should be disqualified, but he won't thanks to the story needing him to continue skating. And as soon as Langa's board broke, just know he'll talk to Reki who will ultimately make him "the best board ever", thus saving their friendship, and Langa will have the means to defeat Adam. I really can't stress enough how much of a shame it is designating Reki to support status, with all the clear indications that he wants to skate and not be on the sidelines. Yes, we have 3 episodes left, but I dont see how they can have enough time to give Reki a redemption arc. I feel like the creators are more worried about yaoi bait than anything else at this point. |
| ADAM is definitely evil. What he did to Cherry was inexcusable. At least JOE is there for Cherry. Reki still wants to skate with Langa, but feels that he'll never be good enough, so he turned in his S badge and left. Langa can't find Reki anywhere. Langa needs to give Reki a big smooch, and let him know that he needs him by his side. |

| While Joe was pulling some crazy stunts, Langa went even beyond and basically skateboarded off a cliff. xD Good lord, I did not expect Adam to straight up destroy Cherry in the face with the board like that. That was violent and insane. |

Especially with how Leki responded to the later obvious Ranga victory. Smh with those two teenager! Well, at least that Cherry-Joe backstory was absolutely interesting. The reason of why Adam abandoned them quite ironic. I can't blame with him with all of his previous background. Then, when he slapped Cherry with the skateboard. Damn! | BROO WHEN ADAM SLAPPED CHERRY IN THE FACE WITH THE SKATEBOARD I LOST MY SHIT I DID NOT EXPECT THAT I know anything goes in this tournament but THAT should be illegal, like Adam literally smacked Cherry while he was going at high speed, that's double the impact, that could've killed him. Like, dial it back son, this ain't a death match. Felt like Joe already gave up on Adam while Cherry was still trying to get him back. However, after the glass broke, he realized that Adam was far too gone. There was a guy in blond that they showed.... Who could it be? I know lot of people are pissed about Reki being depressed or whatever, but I understand him completely and I actually think he's acting pretty realistic. Imagine if you were the worst at whatever you're doing in your friend group. He tried to console himself by thinking how he can support and cheer on others etc. but even though he can do that, he realized that's not what he wants to do. He can't exactly force himself to be happy for others either. He knows he isnt talented as the others, he knows that he's being left behind but there's nothing else he can do. It's not like you can beat talent just by training hard. I don't know man, I just think it's realistic. Adam is creepy as usual. I hope Adam loses to his butler(?). The obsession Adam has with Langa is unsettling. I still hope that Adam won't get what he wants and that Langa won't skate with him. I really want his ass get handed to him by his butler instead. It's too dangerous to skate against Adam anyway. |

| The beef between Langa and Joe just shows how much difference in level is comparable between the two, but Reki's last-minute push gave the predictable winner's position. But when it comes to the beef of Cherry Blossom vs. Adam, it was a race worth watching for in evenly stats. As much as the old friendship-turned-rivals between Joe, Cherry Blossom and Adam goes back ages, Adam's violent skateboard smack against Cherry proves his answer. Playing dirty to reach your desired outcome? That's Adam for you, Cherry Blossom is just another Serpent to Adam and Eve's reunion...the perfect, hatred villain. |

| Exciting episode. That 'LANNNGAAAAAHH!'-part was wholesome. Hopefully our true Reki will return soon. Adam is such a-hole for what he did to Cherry. He was already an a-hole before this episode but now it has definitely been maximized. This is perfection. 😆 |

| Great episode! You know ADAM don't really give a fuck about Cherry if he does the love hug without a single hint of excitement in his face. I thought ADAM was actually avoiding hurting Cherry but damn boy hit a fucking home run. Cherry put too much trust in ADAM, which is understandable because of their past. It's great that Reki is the reason Langa can enjoy skating that much, his inspiration. But who gonna inspire our boy Reki though. I hope his moment will come, and now we know that he doesn't want to be relegated to just a support, that is a start, he will come back stronger, at least hopefully he does. Next episode is numbered 9.5, is it going to be a recap or something. Also, the show's score right now is perfect. A perfect 8 for Sk8. |

| Makes sense since I feel like Adam vs Langa in the finals will be a thing. Still I feel like Snake or w/e will be a really though challenge for Langa. I think he had the best time from the qualifiers. He is the guy who taught Adam so it makes sense for him to maybe be even better. Adam is a fucking prick tho. And Feelsbadman for Reki. |
| I get and relate to what they're doing with Reki but damn they could have executed it better. It really feels like that part of the plot is spinning its wheels. Also, HOLY SHIT!! That hit with the skateboard was brutal. Was not expecting that at all. Reminds me of the ending of Tony Hawk Underground 1 but in reverse. Maybe we can expect a sweet haymaker to ADAM before the show ends. |

| Waaaa I loved this episode! it was so exciting!! Reki giving support to Langa only shows how Langa loves skateboarding because of Reki (also how much he likes him xD) and even though I was ok with Reki staying as support; seeing him cry because he really wants to skate with Langa was tearjerking :'( I'm so sad we have to wait two weeks for them to finally make up. I hope Reki gets to skate by the end of the series. Also ADAM is a dick! I was breathless when he hit Cherry, that was so painful to watch. Cherry admired him so much and he did that to him... Adam needs to go to jail!! Don't know what you guys think, but in my case, I'm hoping for Langa to tell Reki how amazing he is in his own terms and that he doesn't need to copy their styles but to find his own. I don't know if its still possible for him to enter the competition, but I really hope so. |

| I don't understand why Reki said that he didn't want to cheer on any more but instead wants to skate too, and then left and gave his pin back. Maybe I'm missing something or maybe we'll get more context later. I definitely didn't expect Adam to whack the shit out of Cherry. I know its not forbidden or anything to use force, but that was a dick move in my opinion. I felt so bad for Cherry. Was Miya using Cherry's board in next weeks preview?? |

| Okay this episode was kinda weird at first how reiki was limping over Langa, guess the show is not gonna give him the spotlight any more. even though he appeared to want to motivate langa, it was just very obvious he wants to skate, its been like that since the beginning of the show. How Joe and langa used the steel beam to try to get ahead was really exciting! it was a really hype match, really pog tho Langa’s board breaks. The hints at romance between the langa and reki are unbearable tho!! Like make it romance or don’t, don’t make it so ambiguous.. Damnnnnnnnn cherry vs Adam, damn that was an intense start, and he obviously dodges love hug ,then he starts getting rough, then in the flashback that intense starring contest was also so gachihyper , honestly these BL moments are too much. And WHAT HE HIT HIM IN THE FACE, THIS WAS NOT OMG THIS WAS WAY TOO UNEXPECTED, that end scene was so wholesome, im happy Joe and cherry have each other |

| Yeah, ADAM is trash but man is he an entertaining character. Him hitting Cherry in the face with his skateboard was such a dick move tho. Especially when you consider that Cherry still thought he could bring his old friend back. Overall, another nice episode. The conclusion of Langa vs. JOE match was predictable yet enjoyable in terms of entertainment and in that regard, JOE doing a fucking plank on his board because "aerodynamics" had me laughing real hard xD Now on the other hand, I didn't really like the fact that Reki's character was used mostly to be Langa's personal cheerleader. This said, the subsequent realization of him wanting something more than just being Langa's support kinda made up for it in the end. By the way, after-credits scene with JOE and Cherry was... really sweet, honestly. |

All these people going "Boo-hoo, Langa's talent makes Reki sad, please just make him lose, or at least drop out!" Is getting on my nerves. So, if A is better at something than B, will A losing - or disappearing altogether - make B improve? Will Reki being a b**ch to Langa because he's jealous make Reki a more skilled skateboarder, or somehow a stronger person? Nope. It just means Reki is the kind of person who treats his best friend like garbage because "How dare the guy I taught be better at my fav sport than me?" (Then again, I guess this explains why Reki is so damn popular; this is how people IRL act towards their more talented friends/co-workers, after all.) That being said, it's sad but not at all surprising that I seem to be the only one who feels utterly offended on Langa's behalf here. His best friend who introduced him to skating told him that he doesn't care what he does any more and that he's not gonna skate with him again, but nobody notices that, they're all "Wah, wah, Reki be happy! Enter the match and beat Adam!" The complete ass-pull of "Langa can't skate unless Reki is cheering him on" makes it so that Langa is dependent on Reki for skating, psychologically speaking. His skateboard broke so now unless Reki fixes it for him, he literally won't be able to skate and will have to withdraw from the tournament. (Basically forcing Langa to apologise to Reki, when imo he isn't remotely at fault, or else just flat-out making Langa unable to compete instead of making it his choice to withdraw from a match against an insane skater like Adam.) The Snow vs Joe match was full of over-the-top awesomeness, but the fact that Langa could only win "for Reki's sake" left a horrible aftertaste, so my feelings after the match were pretty bleh. I did kinda enjoyed the flashbacks to the Legendary Three's friendship, though the Adam/Cherry shipping fodder was a bit too absurd. Joe really is the best guy out of the lot, and the more emotionally intelligent one, too, seeing as he seemed to already know that Adam was beyond help even before he did what he did to Cherry. I love what a good friendship he and Cherry have. (Yeah, I'm a girl, but no shipping for me, thanks. Though I think the Cherry/Joe ship is at least more logical than the Langa/Reki ship, which at this point is so insubstantial it might as well be air.) Speaking of, it's true that as a person I can't stand Adam, but honestly, his crazy, unpredictable actions, his enmities/rivalries, and the utter collapse of his reign that I can practically see coming are the only things keeping my interest in SK8 now. I'm sick to death of the Reki-Langa endless sobstory drama, to the point where I dread seeing them on-screen now. (I used to adore Langa, but him becoming practically unable to live without Reki is making me not wanna see him any more. I'm never gonna forgive the writers for that, even if this story does pull through and become better at the end. I was never into Reki so whatever.) Plus, the next episode seems to be either a re-cap or an extra, so the next real episode will come out in 2 weeks? It's funny in a sad kinda way, but as SK8's MAL rating continues to rise, my enthusiasm is gradually dropping. Shame, I adored the first 6 episodes; they were so fun, and cool, too. |
| Everyone having someone to chase for, while Miya and Shadow are just spectating all this unravel lmao. These beef are shocking to watch. Ranga ignoring his victory because he broke the board Reki made for him, and Adam bashing Cherry like that. Watching each one has been amazing to watch.  |
