 Netflix Japan revealed two supporting cast, first promotional video, key visual (pictured) and theme song artist for the anime adaptation of Kousuke Oono's Gokushufudou (The Way of the Househusband) manga on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix on April 8.Shizuka Itou (Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara) is voicing Miku, Tatsu's wife and Kazuyuki Okitsu (Prison School) will play as Masa, his former underling. Rock band Uchikubigokumon Doukoukai will perform both the opening and ending theme songs "Shufnomichi" and "Goku/Fufukaidou," respectively. The promotional video below previews the opening theme. Chiaki Kon (Back Street Girls: Gokudolls) is helming the anime at J.C Staff. Susumu Yamakawa (Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san) is handling the series composition. Oono began serialization of the romantic comedy manga on the Kurage Bunch website in February 2018. Shinchosha published the sixth volume on November 9 last year. | I should've known that the anime was gonna look like this, considering the team behind Back Street Girls is working on this. I know it's a stylistic decision, but this really does not look good. And despite it practically being a slideshow, there's still some off model characters present in the PV. At least it's an extremely faithful "adaptation" of the manga, lol. |

| When I saw the comments about the animation I thought "oh people are always complaining, I bet it'll look like Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun" Aaaand it did not. That was not animation in this trailer, that was a slideshow. With suspicious artwork sometimes. |
| Moral of the story: don't let Netflix have a say in your anime adaptation. |
