They adapted a bit less than I was expecting. They did a bit more than 2 chapters, but I was expecting them to end a bit into chapter 105. That way they'll have less than 2 chapters to animate for the next episode. Hope they don't try to cram too much into the next episode, but I'm not terribly worried about it.

The episode was quite thrilling overall. Some of the best moments of the arc was adapted in this episode. Armin looked amazing, the attack on the Cart Titan was thrilling, Levi swiftly taking down the Beast Titan, Eren savagely using the Jaw Titan to consume the War Hammer Titan. The directing, music, and voice acting really elevated the episode a lot. I liked how horrifying the made the Colossal Titan's appearance. I'm surprised that the Colossal Titan is not CG. I guess they decided not to make a CG model of something that won't appear a lot (especially not for intensive action sequences). But seriously, Armin post-timeskip looks super cool.

The CG animation for the most part was excellent. There was one ODM gear scene at 4:30-ish that looked jarringly bad, but everything else was great. I'm glad that their starting to use more dynamic shots and camera movement for the titan fights. If you're gonna use CG, might as well use it to its fullest potential. The 2D animation was alright. There was definitely a lot more off-model characters than usual in this episode. However, it's not very distracting during an action-packed episode like this where a lot is usually going on on-screen.

Anyways, great episode and I can't wait to see the climax of this arc next week.

Honestly far better than what I expected after ep6...and Honestly the best episode yet...one thing that I don't like is eren titan...except that every titan is literally blendin woth the animation...its just eren who stands out... ...in titan....but Honestly I couldn't care less.over all awesome episode

fight scenes are absolute trash. no hate on them but that's what it is. apart from that, i love the armin scene and gabi falco screaming asking for reiner's help. god i'm just glad the plot is actually top tier.

Now this episode was amazing, Armin entry into the episode took the whole thing to a completely another level. If they can keep the main important parts of the series at this level of quality, i'll be extremely happy with the end result.

WHAT A MASTERPIECE.
I was a little disappointed by the previous one but this episode was amazing.
CGI looked really great, most action scenes too. OST choices were on point.
Good job to all the staff that made this masterpiece today. Really hope they can keep up with that sort of quality in the next episodes.

Massive improvement on cgi and music choices. That scene were jean passes all the titans was unbelievably amazing and surprisingly Armin's collosal was hand drawn. Overal 10/10

What an episodeeeee, crazyyyy....hype from the beginning till the enddd...Eren is really brutal mannn, yeah brutallll...but all of this scene is reminding me to the season 1, before the battle with Female Titan, Eren is stuck too like Reiner, and yeah it is who it is...their desires push them forward...and look at that Armin's Colossal, it's sick mannnn, absolutely not an CGI Titan, but overall, this eps animation was much better for me...MAPPA has done a really great job!!!! Thank you MAPPA!!!
Levi defeats Beast Titan for the second time, the Scouts defeat Pieck and the whole Panzer squad (it's really brutal, but Pieck is the second brain after Zeke), and Eren just almost end Galliard's life...in the worst way possible...just crazyyyyyy but what can I appreciate for Eren is that now he's not just a muscle-headed, but he uses his brain really well...nice Eren...

Hahaha same actually. I barely cared at Polco, laughs at Reiner's monologue, didnt feel anything with Panzer Squad in the manga but damn i felt genuinely bad for them now.

Our new waifu got wrecked. The jaw titan becomes a nutcracker. Levi massacred Zeke. And of course, the appearance of Hange and Armin.

It makes the show becomes 10/10 again for me.

Btw, the colossal titan appearance feels like NGE tho, when Eva-1 walks on fire after it goes berserk against the 4th angel.

Looks like Eren got the high ground on the enemy in this episode. The war hammer titan is dead. Also, Zeke seems to be dead. Pieck is in bad condition. Pock is almost over. The only one is left Reiner himself. Armin was great in this episode as well as Levi.
