 The secondary Twitter account of manga artist Sui Ishida announced on Monday that he is working on a new manga titled Choujin X (Superhuman X). Ishida also revealed an image (pictured), stating that he will work on it at his own pace.Ishida is well known for creating the supernatural battle action manga Tokyo Ghoul, which ran from September 2011 to September 2014 in Young Jump. The manga ranked 12th in the 2015 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! rankings in the male readers category. In 2014, it became the fourth best-selling manga in Japan with nearly 7 millions copies sold. He followed up with a sequel titled Tokyo Ghoul:re in the same magazine and serialized it between October 2014 and July 2018. The manga was the tenth best-selling manga in Japan in 2015 with an estimated 3.7 millions copies sold. VIZ Media licensed and published both manga in English. Studio Pierrot adapted Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re into four 12-episode seasons in Summer 2014, Winter 2015, Spring 2018, and Fall 2018. Funimation licensed the anime series in North America for streaming and home video sales. | Woo!~ Interesting. Odd picture though... I wonder what it means. Homosexual romance of a young male with a monster or the co-existence of the male with the monster inside him? Or half-monster, half-human?... Again... very weird speculative picture. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it. Tokyo Ghoul as a whole was great even though there's left out mysteries in the end with :re. |

| Nice looking forward to it but since he'll be doing it at his own pace then that would mean there will be long gaps between each chapters and I hope it gets translated after it gets released. I hope this one is different from Tokyo Ghoul. Tokyo Ghoul started out nice but the sequel wasn't to my liking. |
| Well, I liked the artistry and animation on Tokyo Ghoul but it can still improve on its story. But with that look of the image, seems to be really interesting! I hope they put good quality on an original story and get really nice anime adaptation as soon as possible. :) |

| That's amazing! I loved the first part of Tokyo Ghoul and the refreshing psychological aspect he brought forth in his work. I'm really looking forward to this, and I am happy he's going to work at his own pace because we already know how stressed tg:re made him after a certain point. As much as possible, manga authors should enjoy what they do, and it's hard to do that in such a stressful and competitive environment. Maybe it's going to be monthly or bi-monthly, regardless I am happy with his decision. |

| Interesting. I saw the Tokyo Ghoul anime and was relatively disappointed with it, the quality of the anime was poor. The atmosphere and animation are of course right, as is the music. Reading the manga at the moment and am impressed, the manga is completely different from the anime, has a much better atmosphere and is very detailed. |
