i dont think it's realistic for a normal person to master any skill really, but mastering something shouldnt be the goal so much as experiencing

i like peterson's idea that you should take personal responsibility (even if he doesn't really follow that) but when it's extrapolated it doesn't really follow. for ex, being overshadowed in what you do by others doesn't matter as long as you are making yr own bed and content with yr own actions. it doesn't really matter if others are better at things as long as yr basic needs are met and you are growing and learning as an individual. life isnt a race

fair enough, i will say you're actually right in the middle of the storyline that usually makes or breaks this series for most ppl. i tend to agree with that sentiment - if you don't love it by the end of the next arc then you probably never will, and that's okay :) !
