(I typed this in response to your comment on Go Nagai's profile page but I'm not sure if it notified you, so I copy/pasted it here just in case)
I would personally say to just read the original Devilman first and then just read the spin-offs and sequels in whichever way you want. Continuity isn't too important. The two big "sequels" are Devilman Lady and Violence Jack, but they aren't related to each other at all, they just build off ideas from the original (I'd even argue that Jack is more of its own thing). I recommend you read Mao Dante, it's essentially a pilot for the original manga but it's not really connected (save for a reference in Lady) and is pretty cool in its own right, even if it is unfinished. Shin Devilman is a neat side thing, but you should save it for after the original since it spoils the ending (The official english release splices this manga in between the original, which is pretty annoying!). I also recommend you check out the 70s anime. A lot of people shit on it for not being exactly like the manga, but it's still fairly dark and is an entertaining motw show. Devilman G is a cool reboot, though its only available in physical so it may be difficult to track down.
tl;dr Just read the original first and then the rest based on what's interesting to you. I brought up some personal favorites that I think are worth checking out.

Pretty cool taste.
I wonder what do you think about the last rebuild (0.3+0.1)
