finally, some backstory to how Michiru and Nazuna became beastmen, which happened due to some negligence of Sylvasta employees. we also learn that Nazuna is working with Sylvasta to help find the cure to turn human again

all seemed good and this episode pretty much painted Sylvasta as a "good guy" if not for that ominous ending dialogue of him with the prime minister of Japan

Never amuses to piss me off with her stubborn outgoing doing "justice" behavior and assuming to go after every suspicious act, sometimes it's better to not get involve sometimes maybe it is, but it will end up anyway in a embarrasing cliche scene that I would rather overlook. wonder if she gets some actual character development after this episode. so ye the theories on old threads was right that those scientists on medical center did experimented (but accidentally though) Michiru and Nazuna to become beast men

but i doubt that medical center really wants a cure though it seems they want to make the beast factor mutation a business? like make beast military soldiers perhaps thats how i interpreted that last scene with the prime minister of japan there

I guess the Sylvasta Pharmaceuticals will inject the beast factor to beastmen so that they will wreck havoc. Then, war against beastmen can officially be started. I'm guessing, Alan is also an anti-beastmen's rights advocate.

Great episode!!

Michiru got instructed not to go near the cult and the medical center, yet she does both XD Not gonna lie, I like that stubbornness!!

So Alan Sylvasta is now "shown" as the good guy by helping to find a cure for Michiru and Nazuna after his company has messed up with it's employees and transported goods! About time we found out more about why Michiru became a beastmen!

Even with the final dialogue at the end, you can't fool me, I don't trust Alan a single bit!!

Gotta say that when the ED started playing in the car, that was a little awkward witht he silence between Michiru and Nazuna!

Same, like blood transfusion? really?... Really? Humans were experimenting on beastmen through many years but they haven't thought about blood transfusion? also doctors and nurses didn't realise that they are giving wrong (non-human!) blood which could potentially kill patient? This is just too easy.

With Michiru's "dumb and dumber" understanding of the sitaution to Shirou last episode, it seems that her stubbornness of bringing valuable info to Nazuna just isn't worth the time, much less going to her place of residence. Her internal fight of getting the human Nazuna back vs. the current beastkin "Death Rube" Nazuna is only getting started.

Seeing the slumpeople again still is funny after missing them in Episode 5 via the baseball game though.

The crime scene of Doctor Yaba is probed, but as much of the chagrin of Shirou, his physical body being brought to the medical center, and THAT can only mean one thing: Alan Sylvasta. Instead, Michiru without a second thought just charges in like a blazing force to operate a "saving lives" measure, on her own accord.

The attempt of Michiru and Nazuna's beastmen transformation...coupled with the Beast Factor, is like The Powerpuff Girls' Chemical X to their humankind.

Yeap, this is just too easy to figure out.

And to that regard, Alan's experimentations to turn human beastkin like both girls made it look like he's the "good" guy to benefit from all this, by experimentation of turning beastmen back to humans.

It's painfully clear as molasses. Alan is up to no good, but Michiru's remains defiant and oblivious of her circumstances. She's nothing more than the perfect "human scapegoat".

Well, I don't have much to say. I wish Michiru just talked and didn't destroy that machine like some beast. I think that's the first time her rashness irritated me a bit.
Nazuna's Ginrou-coat looks like Emilia's, and it was rather satisfying seeing Boris called out. And that's all I had to say.

Michiru pisses me off. I don't hate her, but it is frustrating. She's too naive for her own good, trusting blindly in what people tell her. She's obviously still being manipulated, and the fact that she doesn't realize that frustrates me. And I already see the ending, there's not going to be a cure and Nazuna will turn a good guy by the end thanks to the power of friendship. But well, this is Trigger so you'll never know.

I wonder what's the deal with Nazuna. I can't read her at all. Intriguing.

Michiru is not a well-written character and I'm also worried that she goes into action without thinking once. Btw she's too OP and has many convenient abilities making her infiltration very forced.

Michiru pre-assuming things can be so exasperating sometimes. So far, her underdeveloped character is the main reason why I won't give this series an score above 6/10.
And by the way, since when did she learn to master her beast-men transformations? Because those tracking and infiltration moments were way too forced.

OK episode once again. Mostly for the bits of story progression we received because honestly and despite the repetitive Michiru/Nazuna flashbacks that were shown to us, I still find it hard to believe they once were close best friends. I mean, Michiru should know better about her friend's bratty/obstinate attitude and Nazuna should be more understanding since her friend is only worried about her well-being. I don't know... their relationship and overall chemistry look so superficial to me...

Now on a side note, after hearing Alan's supposed motives, I actually thought he was a good guy and I was just pre-assuming things like Michiru... lol nope. That last scene looked anything but subtle. Trigger even used a "villain/bad guy" BGM during his talk with the prime minister xD

All I noticed in this episode is that we want to deliberately divert attention to the culprit, using a narrative technique to make the subject in question reliable and at the same time, in the story in question, to make the understanding smoky so as to lose the wire. Less engaging episode than the previous one, but still interesting.

The pace was too slow releasing the real purposes from Alan Sylvasta. Yet, some back story released, telling how Michiru and Nazuna can be the beastmen. Nice change to that chameleon (without any explanations how, why, and since when she can learn that shit) from Michiru to infiltrate that building, as always as her naive movement that shit can happen to her. Ofc all of the problem start with the mal-functioning from the beast factor got a wrong used to both of them via blood transfer. Quite unique to explain that part, referring the blood transfer way making a host as a start to the beastmen diseases. And thats shit suddenly happen to Michiru and Nazuna medical care, which is somehow unbeliavable. Okay, next part.

The final must release soon in the next episode. So far, the story show fully promising and nice at its half. However, when they try to slow a bit the storyline, until this episode, i kinda hesitate that i had so much bad feeling to the end. Best line here was, when Nazuna can now realise the true meaningful feeling of Michiru's, and kinda aggree with her previous opinion about Boris being completely creepy. What the heck, girl, you always do shit!

I liked this episode, though people constantly calling Michirou dumb because she still believes in Nazuna has obviously never heard of something called Loyalty before.

Michirou is obviously someone who cares about her friends, and the people around her a lot. She does reckless things for them, not just because it makes her feel good about herself like Nazuna implied, but because she genuinely cares about them.

And that's the thing about Michirou, she has this basic idea about friendship that you stick your neck out for your friends and support their endeavors, and one day they'll do the same for you. Michirou never once stopped supporting Nazuna's passion for becoming an idol and supported her every step of the way. She even supports her now, when Nazuna has all but completely decided to turn her back on her after reaching her goal.

Sure I'll agree that Michirou is stubborn and a little dumb for sticking to her guns and being loyal to Nazuna after everything she's done, but I won't pretend like Nazuna is innocent in all this either. Nazuna's a bad friend, not Michirou. It confuses me how people can look at her doing things selflessly for other people and go "Ugh how annoying she's so dumb why does she always have to get in the way when people clearly don't want her"

It sounds to me like Nazuna's ideas are rubbing off on a majority of the viewers, lol. Some of you have never had a friend do something for you without you asking them to do it, and it shows.

"Why does Michirou do such reckless things even when she's not wanted, why does she jump the gun and try to help people without a second thought to whether or not they want her help?"

Because she cares about them, and helping someone when they never asked is like shounen protagonist 101. Also in all the times she's tried to "help" Nazuna it was almost always because she thought Nazuna was in danger. If I saw my friend getting escorted into a black van with a bunch of shifty dudes in suits, I'd also think my friend was in some sort of trouble, not "Oh she probably has her reasons for going with a bunch of shifty dudes in suits, I shouldn't get involved."

It was about time that Boris got put in his place. The way that he's been around Nazuna like an overprotective parent has been creepy, so good job of Nazuna to call him out on that.

Sadly, that's the only positive thing to say about Nazuna, as I'm liking her less and less with each episode. Michiru's lack of judgement also got her into a bit of a bind here, but it did set up a chance to hear from Alan himself. His explanation about how both Michiru and Nazuna became a beastman in the first place due to a misplaced blood transfusion sounds convincing, but hearing his side of the story just makes it more amusing to how he's played everyone around in this show like a puppet master playing with his puppets.

Both Michiru and Nazuma are more at fault for being too trusting to Alan than anyone else for this. Michiru get convinced too easily for her own good and although her justice has gotten her success in this show, it's also her a double-edge sword as well, so it causes her some avoidable issues, too. Meanwhile, Nazuna's desperation to become an "idol" and simply taking on as Ginrou to give hope to the other beastman is rather petty. It's pretty much giving the citizens false hope and she should be ashamed of it. She needs a slap of reality to her face sooner or later, especially since she's playing into Alan's hands more than even Michiru here.

Either way, I still enjoyed this episode and seeing the clash of ideals between the cast. Alan's up to something dodgy with the last scene of the episode while talking to the prime minister, so I do wonder what will happen next.

Jesus Christ, Michiru is annoying. Her wanting to save Nazuna and be such a stereotypical anime character with her blind sense of justice is tiring. How many times has Nazuna brushed her off and showed more interest in popularity and becoming an idol? She still goes there and causes trouble. Let the pink-haired bitch die if she wants to die. She's such a simp.

I’m sick of Michiru going behind Nazuna, and the anime has used that plot device a lot of times. The truth about Michiru and Nazuna was kind of revealed, I don’t really trust in Alan, I mean, that being an accident, and the study of them as scapegoats more than the pursuit of a cure.

Hmmmh, Michiru X Shirou is looking more and more appealing with each episode. And vise versa, Michiru X Childhood friend is looking less and less appealing. Honestly I dont particularly like her. We know she's being tsundere but it doesnt excuse her annoying attitude.

I love the fact Shirou really cares for Michiru now. They're proper good partners. When he offered Michiru to join her it was SOOOO nice and cute. Totally ship those two.

But yeah, Alan is definitely 100% evil. He's either gonna sell drugs that turn people into beastmen or sell drugs that make beastmen berserk. Or both. Either one would ruin the reputation of beastmen.

Also love the fact that Michiru has tons of powers. This series is very reminicent of Beastars but in that it was just the wolf/male with the power. Its great to see Michiru with tons of power too so they're proper partners. Really hope they team up at the end to beat the final boss.

Kinda wish Michiru would learn from always making hasty decisions and stop going after Nazuna (man do I wish Michiru would give her a good stomp in the face for being so obnoxious). Well we got to see the reason for them turning into beastmen and as we all know Alan is the big evil who probably is going to use the drugs to make beastmen go berserk instead of as a 'cure' to turn them humans.

Man Michiru is starting to annoy me a little. Which is amazing, considering I usually don't mind naive characters. But the way that she has been told she does the same bad thing multiple times... and then proceeds to do it again is just annoying.

But I dislike Nazuna even more. Nazuna doesn't even seem to care a little bit about Michiru and how she feels. The fact that Nazuna knew why they became beastmen, and decided to just... not tell her at all... wow. Even if it is top secret, she could have asked if she could tell the other person who was afflicted as well...
pfft. I guess I will see. Right now I severely dislike Nazuna and somewhat find Michiru annoying (although I find her endearing most of the time)
I hope this changes in the last 3 episodes

Michiru managed to annoy even me after this many episodes. If not for powerful friends and OP powers, she'd be dead or in big trouble many times now. This stubbornness and no desire to learn from mistakes, to admit being wrong and say you're sorry... she isn't even trying. Nazuna got sick of this too.

Anyways, we found out how the two became beastman - kind of lame as it all was random and incredibly stupid (due to many coincidences).

And what's with the ominous ending? Are they going to turn regular people into OP beastmen like Michiru for military purposes (as always)? Nazuna and Mayor are deluding themselves IMO. I wouldn't trust that human too.
