| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- If you think about, Hime’s mother was there in spirit since that dog is a descendant of her family dog that’s been with them for generations. So in a literal and metaphorical sense it was a party of 3 at the onsen. Cute episode as always, Goto sensei almost spilt the beans there about being a mangaka during the confession spree, he got saved by the bell. The pieces are starting to come together a bit more as to what’s actually going on with him in present day. The last few eps have dropped some hints that he’s not dead, maybe just off the map. With two episodes to go, I’m anxious to find out what’s going on! |

| How surprised when he opened the door, I hope you are fine. Working hard is good but please pay attention to your health too. however the onsen is an amazing place. No matter how many times I see that hairstyle, it seems like I won't be bored with it. Is there a ghost in the onsen? I thought that was just a joke. Rumors about ghosts are true, some childr try to confirm them but after they search they find a ghost. After they peeked out the window it turned out that the ghost was Kakushi, lol. The rumor spread and it surprised them. | Wait, that newspaper and his readers finding out about his tragic family background. It's no wonder he'd lose heart as a result, I need answers! Comedy and wholesome moments throughout the first 20 minutes were just as great as previous episodes, meanwhile. "Kakushigoto" little burst there was freakin' hilarious too. Hime punishing herself and being more responsible is admirable, I feel a little .. guilty, like Gotou-sensei lol. |

| The gags in this episode was kind of meh. So Hime's mom died in a ship accident and seems like Gotou stopped drawing mangas after it was revealed to the public, sigh. |

| Overall, the episode was less amazing but still enjoyable nonetheless! Poor mangaka that can't take a vacation because it could happen that they need to fix stuff. Actually curious if Goto was about to reveal his secret when he got peer pressured at the scene when everyone was revealing their secrets... At the same time, we're almost there and getting the final puzzle pieces. Tomaruin is also surprisingly serious in those scenes. |

| Glad to knowing Goto sensei not die from sickness or else. Referring how the last scenes rolled on, he seems to be going somewhere else to hide, or something, idk. Hime in young always adorable every second time. And her luck never underestimated. The three lady keeps coming to support Goto sickness really fun to watch. Their interaction were still same, pretty amusing, and so nice, comparing how their screen time decreasing in the previous episodes, especially with that teacher (damn, i forget her name). Just wish to seeing her appearance and her news again from some previous episodes. It still hanging there with no forward, you know? So, the next episodes named 'Last Chapter'? Is that really last? I hope its not :( |

| That was a funny episode... Until the end again where we get the sad feeling again. Keeping the private things complete out from work is always difficult and it's often really hard to keep going of everyone knows your private life... So I can understand Goto on that view. |

| Another week and another episode of Kakushigoto.. A very fun episode with a "ghost" and the vacations in family. The pieces of pluzze begins to join each other... Just two more episodes and still lot of secrets. Just waiting for next week. |
| We are getting more of the sad moments this week. This episode revealed more bits and pieces about what is going on in the present day. Now we're starting to figure out the puzzle here because we know that Goto isn't dead and quit being a mangaka eventually. We are nearing the end of this series so we will get to know soon. |

| This episode...to reference a VERY OLD manga (I'S) for a title is a novelty. Besides that, an onsen trip. OF COURSE Kakushi would be elated whenever he gets to spend time with daughter Hime and Roku. "The adult who can't plan things well", that's Goto-sensei in a nutshell. When Goto-sensei gets a cold, not just his workers, but also the unrequited unconscious harem joins in as well. Writing sutras for his recovery...HAHA never I'd thought this would crack me up so well. That's NOT prayers of blessing, that's more a curse! Eventually onto the onsen trip, it's rare for inns to accept pets. And the subconscious adult doesn't know how much "secrets" inns hold. Heck, "Sharapova"? That's the tennis player Maria Sharapova reference here! Well, to be expected of the intricacies of manga portrayals when it comes to the all-too-familiar hot springs "fanservice". AND HOT DAMN, this inn does NOT hold secrets well (seems like a reputation that is unlikely to shake away). From family affairs to a "haunted" Bungo ghost room, nothing is out of the ordinary. Back to the present day, as Hime learns and the other mangakas draw from his not-so-dead presence and his "disappearance"... gappasaurus said: Oh man, I can't even imagine. | “Having your tragic private life revealed to the public is a fatal blow to a gag manga artist.” Looks like the mystery is starting to unravel regarding Goto.. - Goto quit being a mangaka because he thought he couldn’t make ppl laugh anymore - He didn’t want to lie to his fans - He lied to Hime about quitting his job likely because he loved his job but didn’t want to worry her - His fans also found out about his family situation (ie. single father) I doubt Goto would leave Hime alone unless for some extraordinary reason, since he cares about her so much. If he did run away and leave her alone, which I really question, perhaps her grandfather is caring for her. Also that bit about ‘lost at sea’, it’s clearly not about Goto’s whereabouts, so I wonder where he went if he did actually leave. |

| I think this is the first time I've seen an anime character get a cold without being out in the cold and rain the day before. That is so refreshing! It's a myth that people get colds from being out in the cold and rain for too long. It may increase your chances of getting one due to the immune system being weakened but it's not guaranteed. |
| Although as usual the episode was funny and fun to watch, I can't keep the ending off my mind. It seems that Goto is not dead, at least not literally. He might be "dead" inside, having quit being a mangaka. They gave us so many pieces of the puzzle today: Goto quitting his job, the reason for Goto quitting his job (a vague having had his tragic private life be made public), Goto "disappearing" (from last episode, still not sure if it's literal or metaphorical), an accident that resulted in missing people. The question is, how do they all fit together? I was confused while seeing the scenes. My first guess was that Goto was somehow unwittingly involved in the accident that caused his wife's death/disappearance, or just that his wife died/went missing in the accident. But it seems that he kept a secret far more serious than a simple "hiding my job as a mangaka from my daughter". It seems that it's enough to the point where once it was revealed to the public, he lost all his confidence, his ability to draw, and gave up. These ending scenes always leave us with information but somehow we leave with more questions. And every week I look forward to the ending scene the most, as we get more and more pieces of the puzzle. Quite an effective and clever way, especially with how well it's executed here. Feels like we're headed towards an ending (not THE ending, I think, unless this anime is progressing as quickly as the manga?). I do hope that whatever it is, it's not as tragic or depressing as I first thought it was... with Goto dying and leaving Hime all alone. And when will they reveal Goto's wife's face? |

| Finally a decent amount of information surrounding Kakushi's present situation. So he stopped being a mangaka due to his tragic past being revealed to his fans, uh? Well, if it's Hime's mother one of the people who disappeared in the sea according to that newspaper shot... yeah, I can imagine some fans not being able to enjoy his works anymore after knowing such depressing background. The thing I now wonder is why he and Hime are separated tho... |
| Finally! They revealed some decent info on Gotou sensei, so he's not dead but missing in a plane/boat accident? But apparently he stopped writing before because his private life story went public? Damn, that's pretty sad :/ But it's great to know that he can be alive! Watching Hime reading her father's manga and wondering why he stopped, was such a great scene. Can't believe that Gotou actually escaped from the secret telling bandwagon xD I was like "there is no way he will reveal", but that would have been such a great moment since apparently he still hasn't revealed that to his daughter. 2 more episodes to go... |

| That was a great episode, and probably the episode with the most plot revealed giving us an idea of what actually happened to goto-sensei . |

Cause of Death: Depression (?) |
| The scene towards the end with Rasuna and Kakushi where Rasuna was talking about him being Naked in most of his pictures was interesting to me. It then showed Ami looking away and being somewhat Jealous. We haven't seen Ami at all in any of these Future scenes...so maybe...just maybe...Ami and Kakushi? Baby? It's just a theory. I find it odd how she has yet to show up in the Current day parts when she is basically a main character at this point. Also I feel as though this episode had some sort of Connection to Bakemonogatari Due to all the "Crab" references lol. |

| Another Fantastic Episide of Kakushigoto I wonder how this anime will ended because there's only 2 chapters left with what this anime left to us since to beginning. At least, this episide made me laugh many time as always. Well but the foreshadowing tho... Really expanding the story a lot. The preview for next episode was something...  (DAT SMILE) I have a bad feeling about next episode... Well another 2 weeks to go. Another 5/5 Episode. |

| I just strongly dislike those three women that always show up. The teacher, and the other two I don't even remember who they are. Sure it added comedic value at first when Goto-sensei got people into him without doing anything, but it's just annoying when they show up and speak in unison while trying to marry him. Once again I'm glad to see Tomaruin being worried for Goto-sensei. If Goto-sensei married only after this, I feel like Tomaruin could have been his best man. On another note, the ending was sad as usual. As someone who writes manga filled with dirty jokes, having your private life spread out to the public must be difficult. |

| The mystery is slowly unraveling. Let's see what we know: 1. Goto's not missing, we know that much from last episode. 2. He quit before Hime entered her current school (I'm guessing while she was in junior high) and sometime before she turned 17, something happened to him (since he hadn't given her the 17 year box). 3. According to Future!Ichiko, there is good and bad news, so I'm assuming he's not dead as I can't imagine what good news there could be from that. 4. Someone, not Rasuna or Tomaruin, gave her the key for Kakushi's old house. My guess is her gramps took her in since Kakushi wasn't earning any income or because maybe he was in an accident. He could also be the person who gave her the key. |

| Okay, I give up... I just cannot guess what happens to the Gotou family in the future but It must have something to do with what happened to his wife if that newspaper article is anything to go by. I'm also 90% convinced now that Gotou is alive but isn't around for some other reason.... Ahhhh! My brain is frazzled! I wonder if the ending of the anime will be different from the manga (since the manga only just ended) or if there will be more seasons so that the ending can match the manga |
