Stupid discussion. A basic misunderstanding of why we have law it is prevent people from raping, robbing and killing people The president needs to be killed for the good humanity before she leads him over a cliff

Yeah, I really liked this episode. A lot of the discussion feels like a beginner's introduction into Greek philosophy, but I enjoy this sort of long-form abstract rumination so it works for me.

Just weird to have as the penultimate episode of a series. Babylon is the weeb version of Plato's Republic.

Very interesting episode. The discussion about good and evil was simple but well executed.

It seems that the woman at the top of the building is Magase. So she wants the president to talk with her to convince her not to commit suicide? Beware! we already know what she can accomplish with her whispering - and the broadcasting will be worldwide.

And what will Seizaki do? I was expecting him to be the one she want to talk to. I wonder whether he'll be able to resist the impulse to talk to Magase.

Only one episode left. My understanding is that the original source is finished, so the next episode should bring a clousure for the series, but since there are too many loose ends left I wonder whether there'll be time enough to give us a convincing one.

I'd say keep your expectations low, very low.

Damn, what an interesting discussion, but it does bother me that they're treating it as a very morally gray subject—it really isn't. The ending is crazy, now talking to her is inevitable...

Well this episode was a bit dumb in my opinion, they showed in a pretty roundabout way in what i see as basic concepts which they could hav easily done in 5 minutes instead, while I find the president an interesting character they way they show his ''intelligence'' doesn't really come across as intellectual but maybe that's just my opinion

Let's see how they are going to wrap all this stuff up the next episode

what is right or wrong? what is good or evil? What is morality? Should we support the suicide law? I couldn't decide!!!

Comments have confirmed that girl is Magase Ai, I wonder how the US president will deal with her. Is she like a fucking god and every single person she talks to commits suicide? Honestly, at this point, I want to see Seizaki put a hole through her head. Put that gun to use!

Instead of a hunt for a psycho we get psycho babble from politicians on good and evil. Dull and stupid to boot. Fascinated how badly this show is going to fall on its face. Maybe it'll even snap its neck as it falls awkwardly and pathetically.

The prime minister of Japan just seem so incompetent. All the time, I was waiting for the Japanese government to somehow actually do something about the matter since it originated from their country to begin with and yet Shiniki was constantly working inside its own bubble. I'm well aware of the fact that it is a testing ground for nations but nevertheless, it shouldn't have been given this much freedom in the first place. Shiniki is just a very convenient excuse for their politicians to do whatever they want without much opposition. Shiniki almost feels like its own country. Now the prime minister couldn't even settle on a decision regarding the suicide law and is just gonna blindly agree with whatever result the summit comes up with. I'm once again amazed at how this show manages to dumb down every character that is not deemed important in the show.

They all partake in this whole discussion about what is good and evil to determine whether the suicide law should be implemented or not and yet they have never addressed in this entire show what drives people to suicide in the first place. They cut corners with the topic so that it can advance the way the author wants to instead of tackling such a sensitive issue seriously. They immediately go with the notion that suicide should be a right because it helps the individual come to terms with death instead of asking the question of whether these people actually want to die or if there's just an external factor affecting their judgment for them to consider committing suicide. With that said, I still think the premise is stupid.

Seizaki just got demoted to secondary character. Instead of pinning the question on him just as what it has been built up in the last episodes, it has now turned into the president of the United States vs Magase Ai. I'll hold it off until the final episode but I expected Seizaki to be the one who talks about his ideas of morality and justice since those themes has been thrown around in this show.

So it looks like we will finally get the biggest reveal in the last episode about how the fuck does Magase Ai do her thing and it better be a satisfying one since they saved it for last.

What a stupidly long, drawn-out discussion of a pretentious and boring topic. This entire episode was basically just a debate of what is good and evil. How could anyone find this interesting?

Very interesting episode to say the least. Besides the last minute, much more tame than other episodes. The philosophical/religious conversations felt a bit pretentious, but makes sense if that's the direction the whole series wants to take. And, they didn't do a bad job at explaining, so I actually liked it.

The biggest problem is that the episode kept disrupting my suspended disbelief. The show is supposed to be set in a similar, realistic present day world, but there is no way that all those world leaders would actually have philosophical discussions. Not just with each other, but just at all.

Okay. So this is another boring debate with no conclusion rather make me moan. Gladly the president of the USA keep his character as my favourite, til something shit may happen in the last. Ofc the woman there, was the great villain, the Babylon, the great slut, Magase, trying to seduce Mr president? Lets see. Lets see how this shit end!

I absolutely love the way how this series handles the closure of its episodes. The BGM selection being a crucial part in that regard.

So, Magase aka the Whore of Babylon is now on the move once again and it seems the Thinker will have to face a highly complicated dilemma:
- Convincing Magase to die will eradicate a rather significant threat to this world yet it will give more fuel to the implementation of the Suicide Law.
- But on the other hand, convincing her to live may put at risk the lives of several other people that may not be even involved in the whole "pro-suicide law" thing. "Trolley Problem" at its finest.

Overall, quite fascinating episode. Really liked the philosophical turn the dialogues took during the G7 Summit and the whole portrayal of the "good/evil" discussion was very well directed as well. In that aspect, Alex was about to reach to a conclusion but it seems he will have to do it while having one of the most important talks of his life. No pressure.

The episode was full of thought provoking dialogue. A lot of it hits, some of it misses. Very trippy visuals during the good/evil discussion.

This episode is so far away from the stereotypical harem scene with 5 big titted girls falling over some guy that it broke everyone's minds. They just can't handle philosophy in their anime.
