| Stopped at minute 11 of episode 2 yesterday before going to sleep. Watching more later. Impressions until then: --- Not bad for a first+second episode. I noticed the studio again - which I like. Especially their style in adapting faces of the chars. Okayish fighting plot and some background story. Nothing tooo special. But not bad. Some of the music themes I liked. The atmosphere was good there. And the side chars are interesting. (Uncle guy and the female fighter.) Boy looks a bit much like a typical shounen char and the background story is just your usual thing. But I hope for an at least somewhat decent plot in the present and with the manga that is finished (and short) for a full adaption. Finished manga is a big plus. Should be watchable for 1-cour with this studio adapting it. This isn't a full battle shounen for adults like Baki or Kengan Ashura. Also not super mature/calm themed like Megalo Box. Something in between ... probably the backgrounds will be more important and the fighting just on top of that as a way to present/develop the background plot. (I guess he'll end up fighting someone from the past that was enemy in that past war and injured his mother?) Edit: Nice. Didn't expect for Natalia to get introduced in that way. She acted like she really was stronger ... in episode 1. And I thought she was just a wannabe-boxer that did not even have experience. Now she had some experience but still was weaker than the main. Introducing the other guy (main villain I guess) at the end makes it interesting. The only weird thing was that Levius didn't seem to have trained vs others before starting his first match in G5. Only when Natalia joined he had some real training fights. Edit2: Mixed this up. The guy with the mask is the main villain I guess ... the fighter for next episode is someone else. But nice voice actor. ;) |

| Some nice background information on how Levius entered the mechanical boxing world and met his crew, I really wonder if that one girl is just his imagination or if she really was alive and well Start of this series and he already has a tough opponent for his next match, hopefully he takes it seriously instead of "just practice" |

| Levius told Natalia to go to sleep. Then he put her to sleep. Now she sleeping at the gym. She kinda cute though. Hope she doesn't get/stay annoying. |

| Backstory was decent and I assumed he hadn’t fought Natalia yet by how cocky she was in the previous episode. Looking forward to the next fight he really needs to start listening to his uncle though after everything he’s done for him typical stubborn MC. |
| Natalia knocked out just like that? About how I'd expect a mixed gender boxing match to go in reality, so perhaps the cybernetic augmentations aren't as much of an equaliser as you'd think. |
