At times it felt like I was watching an episode of Mushishi instead Black Jack. I still enjoyed it. The part where the kid opened his eyes and all that could be seen were plants was really gross though D: |

| I think this predates Mushishi, but yeah, I got a huge Mushishi vibe from this episode too. This was definitely more out there, I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it. I think I like Black Jack better when it's realistic, but this is good too... |

| The cinematography is getting better while the comic relief is getting worse. The comic relief is out of place, and distracts from the drama. I could have done without Pinoko, and all the drunken singing. 3/5 |

| I kinda like it I like the idea that a very old plant is sentient I never expected Black Jack to go to supernatural route again and again I guess people liked it? |

| Not sure if i completely get this episode but it still left me with tears in my eyes. I also prefer when Black jack is more grounded in realism. Tho the original manga also had it's strange chapters. Like that one time when BJ literally operated on an alien. |
