| Incredibly creative, well crafted, hilarious and relatable. That final animation sequence with the mosquito was phenomenal and the art direction in this whole short was amazing. This was easily the best episode of a new anime I have seen in years. |
| The way this episode was handled was superb. This is from the same director of Shokugeki no Soma. I found the panning to focus the ass and boobs very Shokugeki like, while adding a very artistic touch. The comedy and fluidity were also very remarkable. Best episode so far. If it were an standalone episode I would rate it 7/10. |

| This was an excellent episode. A very creative and thorough animation bit (a lot of work too), and then the interview... I like that for once the director is open and bold in his talk about the psyche of Ekoda-chan, which I feel is what other directors have been lacking. Great stuff. |

This is something I did just brush off and it's something that deserves a more dedicated audience. It's pretty niche and more often than not isn't my cup of tea, but I can't help but respect this show for what it offers regarding the industry, and just how wild the directors of each episode are allowed to take it stylistically. This is probably the one episode I have actively liked, including the interview (more so the first half than the second since the interviews themselves aren't necessarily talking about things that interest me too much even though it's cool to know about the show's production and a bit more about the medium's production in general).That was some unexpected action ! | Best one so far - I liked how surreal it was - but it's just occurred to me that not a SINGLE one of the selected directors for this series is female. Obviously, the gender of the creative team =/= the quality, but when you have a slice of life comedy from a women's POV, and the series was created by a woman, and 12 different directors doing their takes, and the entire concept behind the series is to have a diverse set of directors tell unique stories... it just kinda feels like a glaring omission that they couldn't even get one talented female director involved. |
