| As long as Akira Kamiya can reprise his role for Ryu, all I'm good. Either way I'll be sure to watch it, and should probably watch more of the original series as well. |

Not a pervert, a womanizer, in my opinion describes him better. It can get boring after a while, but if you are into old school then it's a must watch. He comes off as really desperate for poon in a lot of ways, but when he goes full serious business mode, it actually nets him the girls at times. I assume this is his MO if he keeps doing it episode after episode. Modern day Shinjuku...that's gonna be something. Ryo, Kaori and others are a product of their times. I just can't help imagining them coming off as tryhards to stay hip and cool in late 2010's Japan. |

The TV Shows are GOLD , the characters are funny and serious at times , I've watched them some time ago , but I can still remember almost everything about this show . Yes , he is a bit of a perv but it's not that bad . IMO it's your loss if you don't watch them |
| I never thought modern anime fans would get to see Ryo Saeba's pervy greatness. Especially in the SJW / #MeToo era. They only really know of Onizuka pretty much copying him in GTO. MOKKORI~ I suppose there's now a reason not to quit anime and stay alive until 2019... most likely for high expectation disappointment. There was Angel Heart in more recent post-CH years - which I consider to be City Hunter S5 - but that had a low cel>digital transition budget. It was still great but this, as a reboot-thing, NEEDS that old school cel charm to please fans. Hopefully there won't be too much CG. Teaser was pure Get Wild nostalgia. |
