| I really don't want to drop the show too early but I can't find it to myself to give a care for our female MC. because it almost feels like she rode the cock carousel, then when she got older she can't ride it anymore, and now she wants to go back to being young again to ride the cock carousel again. oh, and that she isn't very moe. looks like an aged old hag to me but i dunno. probably another reason why I can't force myself to give a care for her. |

| This is the most beautiful opening episode I've seen in a long time, and that says a lot considering how awesome this season is.. The colors are amazing, and I like what they're doing with having the main girl "colorblind." It has lots of potential for a deep story. |

| Remember that one meme about Abe and that anime about a married guy and girl and the agenda of "marry and reproduce"? well, this anime more sounds like "have empathy and marry and reproduce". Clearly just shouting "get married" left and right doesn't give any results. ((((they)))) must have figured out that people need to have empathy or something. | Obviously the visuals were great. The CG background characters in the first scene had me concerned but it turned out undeniably very beautiful. Immersive at points. So, there's still a lot we don't know but the episode never had me frustratedly wondering what's going on. The pacing was decent so I'm happy to continue and learn more. |

| Liked the fist ep. As others have stated the artwork was amazing and apparently it has a lot of the same staff from NagiAsu, so yeah that's to be expected. MC is not really interesting yet. My favorite scene was definitely when the MC could see colors from the guy's art. Curious about what comes next. |

I thought you meant she had lots of sex when she was younger which I could not see at all as she looks pretty introverted and doesn't have any friends. She does look kinda depressed though, but I think this will be addressed in future episodes. |

| It's really beautiful in terms of graphics, the story seems like the usual one or almost all of the productions of PA Works, the characters seem to already delineate well in terms of characterization. It inspires me enough to continue the vision. |

| gosh, i absolutely ADORE the atmosphere of this show! i haven't been this moved by an opening episode in god knows how long... definitely not by anything that aired this year, at least... i just hope they keep their shit together, unlike that ocean show that i forget the name of now, which fell apart in the second half :V p.s. glasses girl is best girl |

| Well, we met Hitomi Tsukishiro, a sort of magician that lost her hability to see color, in a festival her grandmother sent her to the past, the days she was studying magic. Hitomi ends up in the room of a guy named Aoi. She got out of the house and look for her grandmother's house, where she could find her grandmother's relatives. Surprisingly her grandma is abroad so she have to wait for her. Hitomi realizes that she lost her azurite and looking for it finally meet Aoi, whose drawings she can see in color. Honestly, as the story still doesn't engage me. The visuals are incredibly beautiful, the characters, movements, backgrounds, details, fireworks, all of them are really good. I just can't forget the smile on Hitomi's grandmother while Hitomi was saying "noooo" and being transported to the past, she was just ignored, hahahaha. |

| This is... weird. Let's just call it that. I have no idea where it's going, but then again this looks like your typical P.A. Works title, so I can't say that I'm surprised. Either way, if I at least get an interesting middle part of this run, I'd be happy enough. For now I'm enjoying the animation and music quality. |

I wasn't obviously referring to the art style but the direction since violet evergarden's art on a production value is almost unbeatable I even mentioned hibike euphonium, imo you can't just have good art with good drawings. kyoani made violet way too detailed and it was offputting to say the least, it wasn't something i'd have expected out of a kyoani anime and the direction was totally horrible. The novel instead is very, very different. apparently kyoani can't make good adaptations but I appreciate their original works. |

| The first minutes felt really rushed, being honest. 5 minutes and the main plot was already established. But that aside, it was a interesting episode. Not to mention that the art is truly stunning. The last sequence was beautifully animated too. |

| Well this first episode was really impressive! Already love the concept and setting, and the pacing is absolutely perfect! Looking really forwards to see what this series will offer for a story especially in terms of character development. |

| An eyegasm, just like everything from P.A. Works, but I'm not yet sure what I feel about this. I'll need more explanations because the slow personality of our heroine and the future we know almost next to nothing about didn't quite catch me yet. What I could gather so far is that she might only see in black and white. |

| Pretty good start and I also liked the moment when her world became colorful. Still wonder whether she only sees past or if she's actually there to become part of it, it could turn into a big problem if not handled right. But certainly (a lot) better than Glasslip so far. The only thing I didn't like was how her grandma forced everything on her and how her insecurity was used as plot-device. Also would be a lot better if she actually travelled back to fifties rather than to our present but well.. even all that the episode instantly grabbed my attention by its atmosphere. |
| lmao that was awkward at the end there, but ma body is ready for the potential romance <3 I'd be so pissed if the romance doesn't involve the protagonist but her grandma instead. The setting definitely felt contrived though, but you gotta accept it for what it is I guess. |
